I stayed at Acropolis Apartments in Crete for the first time, and it really exceeded my expectations! The room was cosy and well-equipped, with a small kitchen area that included a fridge, cooking hub, and cutlery — perfect if you’d like to make your own breakfast or dinner.

The staff were fantastic, from the waiters to the owners. They were always friendly, happy to chat, and gave great advice on what to do during our holiday based on our preferences.

There’s also a supermarket right next to the hotel, which is perfect for trying local fruits and sweets. Plus, the location couldn’t be better — just a 10-minute walk to the beach and the town centre.

Overall, a real gem in Crete. Highly recommend!

Great apartments, spacious and clean. Bathroom could do with a makeover, shower temperature temperamental, shower curtain had seen better days.
Great location, lovely pool.
Staff were great, mostly. Think it was the owner, who was rude. Had a couple of issues, for which he wasn't at all helpful, his responses were blunt. A shame really.
Restaurant area was nice, menu was limited, they didn't have several of the options. Only ate there once, excellent restaurant/takeaway opposite, Valentino's, it was fabulous 👌. Fabulous Greek restaurant, Mythos, 5 minutes walk away, food was amazing.

I stayed at Acropolis Apartment. Overall impression- the apartments are quite old and definitely in need of urgent renovation.

My room faced the courtyard, so there was no real view- just the neighbor’s balcony a meter away. In the bathroom, the water didn’t drain properly, cleaning was very superficial, and during my 3-night stay the towels were never changed. The cleaner didn’t really make an effort, and the room itself wasn’t very clean either. There were almost no amenities: no soap, no shower gel, no shampoo- only towels. There were also technical issues: the air conditioning worked inconsistently, and the key didn’t work at all, so I couldn’t even get into my room.

On the positive side- the furniture was new. The room also had free air conditioning, a hairdryer, and Wi-Fi. I also appreciated that I was checked in immediately upon arrival at 11 a.m. without waiting. The owners were friendly, but the apartments really need renovation.

Such a lovely hotel with very hospitable service. Their pool is beautiful and has an outdoor shower. The food and drinks at the restaurant are amazing and again the service is so comforting. The room itself is very large with a small equipped kitchen including a kitchenette, some utensils and plates, a mini fridge, and sink.

The acropolis is a very nice place to stay and the food is excellent.
This family run hotel and restaurant is excellent and very friendly.
The staff are great miros,Vicky,george and nico always make you very welcome.
I can’t say enough about the food I enjoyed all of it .

Nice place to stay in a great locality. Apartments are spacy with a small kitchenette and necessary utensils. Wifi and AC to be paid extra. The restaurant downstairs have some lovely food with reasonable rates. Overall a memorable stay!
