Hotels with sea view in Hersonissos

My husband and I spent 5 days here a week ago. It was the perfect break from our busy lives. The hotel is a small family run concern and is absolutely charming. Lovely pool area with views over Heronissos and the sea

I was nervous about dragging my suitcase up the hill but I was met in the parking area and everything was taken care of for me proactively. They have a lovely bar/restaurant area with a good selection of food and wine

The rooms and property exceeded my expectations. Well maintained and beautifully appointed. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. The property is on the hillside giving gorgeous views

For every room luxury sunbeds by the private pool. Personel is fantastic, super friendly an helpfull. They made also the difference besides rooms etc. We are still there and enjoying our holiday!

We stayed in the adults only part of the hotel room 629. That part has 4 rooms with a private pool. The rooms are amazing! Large room with al large balcony and huge bathroom

Always smiling and doing all they could to make our stay special. Perfect location away from the melee of the main resort, but walkable ( might want a cab back up the hill)

Hotel Very close to the beach but there isn't much sand this side of hersonissos. As it's near the end of season many shops/restaurants are closing so it's a more quieter environment and not too rowdy

The only minuses in the room was that the shower (not sure if all rooms are like this) did not have a cover, so made it difficult to keep water from splashing all over

Very handy for the beach, shops and bars. Our room was quiet with a small balcony overlooking the pool. The shower was small but manageable. Staff on the most part were very welcoming and helpful

Very small pool but enough beds for this time of the season. This hotel is definitely not four star rating ( probably more like a 3 star) and doesn't look anything like the photos on the website

Lovely hotel staff were brilliant we have three of us that or disabled the three young lads were lovely they looked after us for the 10 days we were there food was OK pool was a bit small but overall it was nice would recommend it the young lady on reception was very good the moment we got there to the moment we left

loved the food, the location of the hotel was perfect. such a relaxed pool space never had problem getting a sunbed. overall loved our stay in Mari Kristen and would most definitley return , thank you Dave and Sandra

Really really good food for good prices! nice service and the location is top! We were here in the Restaurant and the beach lounges (not in the hotel) and it is so nice and food is super delicious!! Would give 10 stars if i could

We have tried a few other restaurants, a few were disappointing but this one was spot on every single time. The staff are incredibly serviceminded, delightful and helpful! The drinks- skip the other places

I stayed at the Alia beach hotel for 10 nights. The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff were absolutely wonderful. The pool was great (needed some maintenance but I assume this is sorted over winter)

Always helpful, always available to support and act with warm. The hotel is not to big and small and lovley looking, the pool is warm and never to busy as only a certain amount of guests can stay

Could not fault anything or anyone at this beautiful hotel, from the minute we went to ask if they had any free rooms because we could no longer stay were we had booked for a week away, spotless hotel from room to pool area including pool area

What a hidden gem! Clean, well maintained, comfy beds and lovely rooms. Deserves more than 3* as a hotel. Much needed few days of calm and rest after a wedding on the mainland

The garden and swimmingpool is amazing. There are always sundbeds available. One of the party stayed in hotelroom wich is spacious and with lovely views from balcony

We stayed in the penthouse and the view, the space, the jaccuzzi. Wow! Also the people keeping the hotel are nice and hospilitable. The cafe in the poolarea is good for lunch and also for drinks at night

The location will provide a very authentic experience of Crete. Literally 5-6 walk to a square full of restaurants and Tavernas which are all excellent. And where we also booked our trip to Spinalonga with the lovely Bob

Cretan Garden Hotel is a wonderful quiet place owned by a very warm and welcoming family. Both the accommodation space and the bar and restaurant offer exceptional services maintained by wonderful and helpful people

Where to start? On arrival which was 1am. We were greeted with a very friendly smile. Shown to our room which was bigger than expected and very clean. We also got given some food in the bar which was a lovly touch

But we fell even more in love with Cretan Garden Hotel! From the very beginning we felt at home there. Comfortable accommodation, beautiful views from the hotel balcony, an atmosphere of love, friendship and care

Mostly are family and has come from the Grandparents who still come every day to help and maintain the gardens. The food was good, not a huge range but all very trantional dishs that were delicious

For those who love other beautiful beaches you need a car and the island is very large to reach a beautiful beach from where the resort is located it can take almost 4 hours

I was very surprised that they offered Yoga classes upon request, so I enjoyed 3 classes by Katja out in the Crete Ocean Breeze. It was heavenly! If we visit Crete again, we will also be visiting SeaBreeze!

Despite overlooking the road/pavement as well as the sea, this didn’t impact too much, as you’re slightly outside of the hustle and bustle (but just a few minutes’ walk into it!)

Once a week a private chef prepares a 4 course Cretan meal for only €19! Lovely food, great choices and served impeccably

We had a wonderful stay at Saradari Beach Hotel. George and his mom are wonderful and were always there to help us out. The hotel is directly at the beach and has a wonderful pool

The room was perfect, very clean and spacey. It was also very nicely decorated. The dining experience at the hotel is the best part!

Not to forget the bar and the food in Restaurant Halcyon which is something extraordinary. I had plans to go down to the Hersonissos city and eat there but I ended up having all the meals at The Nest Resort

Amazing room, friendly staff and perfect to calm down. Downsides are the steep hill to get to the hotel so a car is definitely needed here and the breakfast was kind of disappointing

The accommodation was exactly as shown in the online pictures. Its hillside location offered a beautiful sea view! The morning breakfast buffet was excellent and provided a great variety

The hotel is in a very good location, just 50 meters from the main street. It's situated in a quiet area, yet conveniently close to shops, restaurants, and the bus stop. You can easily walk to the nearest villages

It was a family hotel! Many returning guests and it was quiet and pleasant even though it was close to the heart of the city. The staff were really nice and we really only have positive feedback

Hersonissos in Crete is an area renowned for noisy Brits and many other nationals letting their hair down. Water Parks, Bungie Jumps, Go Karting and mad entertainment rule

Vip room is a bit more expensive, but totally worth it for the view alone

We spend 10 days in Adamakis Hotel and very glad that made this choice: -it's very cozy and friendly place. -Breakfast is traditional and various. -Location is close to the seaside

Personally I would prefer the ground floor apartments as you can sit on the patio area but some like the upstairs as you get a view over the sea

No fights for sun beds use a towel as they are Leather/plastic covering. Bill the Chef would make you a lunch if required generally he would let you know what he is making the day before and you would place your request

Arrived after midnight, George took me to my apartment directly. Admin will get sorted in the morning. Small family run apartments , everyone was so helpful and welcoming i felt tearful leaving

Room was dark but due to heat it needed to be, Bathroom had shower with usual toiletries. Breakfast which was eaten by the pool, can keep you going all day

Greek salad, filo pastry cheese, yoghurt, boiled egg, toast & jam + juice & coffee. Pool was small but enough for most of us + little one for children

Such a calming beautiful place. There is such a warm family feeling to this hotel. Staff are very helpful. Food is delicious and good selection of drinks.

Bassem keeps everything really good organized and has a good overview over the whole dining room area. The Receptionist that was the most helpful was without doupt Samuel always a smile on his lips and in a good mood

He did an awesome job was always friendly and even made a nice sculpture out of towels. In the Italian Reataurant works Muhamed. He was so nice and always offered his services and never forgot us the whole week

No parking nearby and cars constantly driving across the pedestrian zone. Of course, there are beautiful sunsets and the popular sound of the sea

In the evenings, there are the restaurants right on the water's edge. There you can get delicious food and expensive drinks, and we were more or less politely asked to come in at almost every stall

All is good, except too noisy at night. Too many young people who love partying rather than sleeping

But those weren't enough reasons to visit this entire area again

I love ittt! it's Such a nice hotel with such a bad rating I wonder why the rating is so negative to be honest I love this hotel so much It's So pretty They have free WiFi and it's next to beach the only negative thing about this hotel is that it's next to a club which means That it's pretty noisy outside but still a great hotel^^

Daily in-house, organic breakfasts are just perfect to start a day! Rooms are kept just in immaculate shape! The whole experience was just fantastic and we surely couldn’t imagine staying elsewhere next time visiting Crete! Thank you Antonis and Katerina!

Great location, nice and quiet place, not too big and all the personele is very friendly … CHARMING ! Clean confortable room, good bed, we were incredibly helped by Aspa, she could give recomendations, directions and even concrete help when we lost a wallet in the public transportation

If you are planning on holidays in Crete, Charm hotel is a must to stay in! Run by wonderful couple who are extremely hands on and helpful, hotel is located few minutes walk from the beach

We spend a week end of July 2020 and we have to admit that we made the right choice. Great location right , next to the city center, very close to the beach, bus station, Bars , Clubs

The gym was very small and no air con so advise getting there before the day gets too hot! Layout - the photos always give the impression it’s quite compact but if you aren’t near the centre then it’s a long walk up a big hill! Luckily there was a van / golf cart to help out

There were other activities too such as Pilates - possibly the best view I’ve ever had doing Pilates! There could have been a bit more for teens, and it was a shame the games room wasn’t in the centre of the hotel but a bit further out, but that was only a tiny thing

Entertainment - there was a very enthusiastic guy leading the entertainment both during the day and in the evening, I honestly don’t know how he kept going! Around the pool there were games daily, aqua fit and water polo

When we arrived we let them know and they showed my son all the things he could have. They were also happy to prepare gluten free bread, pizza and pasta too, and it really seemed no bother

My daughter missed out on going to the water slides as she hadn’t heard them say what was happening! Water park - fine for kids and teens enjoyed it for a little while but not thrilling

The lifeguards were excellent though, really friendly, helpful and good when my son ripped open a scab on a slide! Food - this was a big one for us

its not Just a boutique hotel but also Adventures place. you want to know new places and backgrounds they can provide anything. deffenitly must go place i think nobody will regret it a 10/10

Traveling alone for the first time I was naturally a bit nervous. After leaving the airport I made my way via a taxi to hotel cost 25 euros. I found out later a bus takes me to the end of the lane for 3

They all jumped up and welcomed me in English by my first name. I sat at the table next to them and realized the mother was Eleanora who it turned out could speak 7 languages

A most welcome cup of coffee and some home made cake was delivered as we spoke. Yes I felt at home imediately. I have a walking frame or stick that I walk with. They could not do enough to help me

Near the stores , beach , bus station , but in a side street so it's very quiet. The breakfast is good and fresh. The hotel is so clean like we never saw in any other hotel. We highly recommend this lovely hotel

They gave us water at check-in and during our stay, they surprised us with fresh fruit and wine. At the end, the owner, Antonios, even gave us a small bottle of olive oil from his own production

The room was clean, the hotel is located very close to the main street with a loot of restaurants and shops and only 5 minutes walking from the sea. The staff is amazing, especially Anastacio from the night shift

On the last day they allowed us to take a shower even though we did the check out in the morning. We had the flight in the evening so we went to te beach. They had bring us clean towels also

The hotel was empty! What a shame, this small city hotel is run by a very helpful and kind lady, and it really deserves to be fuller. As a result, the included breakfast couldn't be served due to a lack of staff

There was lovely lady/reception or manager that made the check in very nice, let me in to the room much earlier free of charge. Would recommend but only to those who basically only need bed and shower

Instead, we got air conditioning, which wasn't originally included. It's fine for those on a budget, but you shouldn't expect too much from the bedding. It's clear the mattresses aren't new

Nice, cheap, little hotel, very close to the beach and all restaurants and shops. Very convenient center location but no traffic noise. There was access to some little swimming pool

Hotel needs a bit of investment and refurbishment or some freshen up as rooms are old but everything was in working order so could not really complain
