Hotels with sea view in Hersonissos

I would like to give my special thanks to Antzela who works tirelessly at the pool bar, as well as Emma and Dan who work extremely hard at the restaurant, and also male receptionists, and the older cleaning lady

Also, the location kind of sucks, as long as you are prepared for quite of a cardio each day. However, what also must be acknowledged is the fact the staff is simply marvellous and charming

If we return, we’d definitely book a family room with a separate bedroom for better comfort and rest. The food was decent the cold salads were fresh, and buffet trays were refilled quickly

I've just come back from this hotel (my trip was from the 10th of August till 17th). I would personally rate it for 3 stars only, as it doesn't meet all the requirements for 4 starts

Such simple thing, yet there's no bottled water in rooms, food is excellent, but repeteable and often cold, there's rather limited choice of drinks, and truly all that 'all inclusive' is more of a myth than truth

The room was okay, we had a sea view and the kids had a bunk bed, but it wasn’t very sturdy and made a lot of noise. The mattresses were very hard, and you could feel the springs, making it uncomfortable to sleep

We stayed here for ten days and overall had a good time There were a few negatives but mainly positives Our room was very dark but worse,we woke up after getting there at night on our first night scratching like mad and realised when we woke up it was infested with mosquitos, my husband had 150 bites lumps all over his back legs and arms I had about 60 in the day time we could see over 100 in our apartment...

The rooms were extremely clean and spacious, with a great bathroom and comfy beds. We had breakfast included in our stay and enjoyed the variety they had available each day

I enjoyed every moment staying at this wonderful super friendly hospitable Hotel. The food was excellent and the accommodation was very comfortable and clean. I would definitely return to this place for another holiday.

Our vacation was for 3 weeks and we were very pleased and happy that we have chosen this hotel! Definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful vacation in Crete island

My wife and I have just rerurned from the Annamaria village hotel. The room was decribed as an economy room but it was more than adequate. Kettle and Fridge in the room which is beautifully decorated and spotless

I’d like to write a review about this hotel. So, It’s really a nice place for a couple or for family with not too little kids. There are delicious food, kind and opened staff who always helps and smile

Most evenings, we spent in the outdoor bar talking with Eva and other guests. We enjoyed the super relaxed atmosphere of the ‘resort. Clean and swept every day to remove the Sahara dust, as were all the deck chairs

The accommodation is very nice clean and everything you need to self cater if you want to. However Eva cooks amazing traditional Greek food for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you wish

In a moment of crisis when our baby wasn’t feeling well, Eva didn’t hesitate to personally take us to the hospital and make sure we were okay. Traveling with a 9-week-old baby, that level of care meant the world to us

We never truly felt the 5-star experience until we arrived at Evalia. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality that no luxury resort can replicate

But after falling in love with the island, we decided to extend our trip—and that’s when we found Evalia Apartments. That decision turned out to be the highlight of our stay in Crete

The owner Eva went above and beyond in every way—from offering fantastic local recommendations to always being a friendly and caring presence

We had the basics for self catering and plenty of space including a seating area inside. We also had a plenty of storage space (a dresser, bedside, and a wardrobe with plenty of hangers)

The views from our balcony were astounding. We had a lovely seating area outside with a rack to dry our clothes in the sun. Our room included a tv and a safe

The bathroom had a towel rack, the toilet, a shower with a curtain and area to contain the water so it didn’t make the whole bathroom a wet room, as well as a sink, mirror, area for toiletries and a hair dryer

A wonderful hotel! Everything is clean, relaxed, and pleasant, and the rooms are very comfortable. We were particularly impressed by the friendliness of the staff; you immediately feel welcome

There were also plenty of sunbeds to use at the top of the stairs - great for direct sun! ☀️ The reception area also had drinks available and breakfast in the morning

The staff were wonderful and able to converse very well in English. They made us feel very comfortable and tailored to any needs we had

Air con is expensive but you need it so didn’t mind paying the money for it. It is located on a hill but that didn’t bother us. We’re fit and young so a 10 min walk down and up wasn’t that bad

30 you can leave your case in reception and there are also showers there to use. It's about a 7-minute walk into Hersonissos (longer coming back due to the hill and me being unfit)

Rooms are adequate with everything you need although we only used the hotel as a base the pool area is spotless and grounds are well kept all the staff we encountered were polite & friendly would return in the future

Absolutely loved everything about this place. The apartments was absolutely spotless, the pool was beautiful and clean. I loved the trees and flowers dotted around, gave a lovely relaxed vibe

Lovely place Away from the hustle and hustle but close enough to get there Ideal position for hersonissos, old town and piskopiano - all within easy walking distance. A hidden gem

we had cooking rings but didn't use them as we preferred to eat out. The bar had all our favourite drinks ( including Campari 😀). Angela and Christina were always very polite and kind when serving us

Cheap hotel, so don't expect much, but it's clean and dining place is located 20m from sea so you can enjoy seaview while eating brekfast! If you would like to take a walk 400m west you can find huge and almost empty beach!

This hotel is run down the sunbeds are old and need throwing away the pool is just ok , The bar is Absolutely Rubbish Bar What BAR it's absolutely Terrible ,The bar needs to be made a lot bigger with lots of stuff in it like food better ice creams better bar staff that nos how to make drinks 🍸 yes the bar was Terrible, never mind the bed rooms they was clean very basic the beds where very bad...

Would recommend if you are ok with basic no frills, of you want something for the family it will disappoint. Swimming pool was fine, place was quiet

Needed an extra room for a week and this place was basic but fine. Room cleaned 4 times in 7 nights, right on the coast

The hotel owner and the staff were very attentive and kind. The room was quite clean and was cleaned every day. It was close to everywhere, and we didn’t have any issues with transportation

I stayed at Acropolis Apartments in Crete for the first time, and it really exceeded my expectations! The room was cosy and well-equipped, with a small kitchen area that included a fridge, cooking hub, and cutlery — perfect if you’d like to make your own breakfast or dinner

There’s also a supermarket right next to the hotel, which is perfect for trying local fruits and sweets. Plus, the location couldn’t be better — just a 10-minute walk to the beach and the town centre

Such a lovely hotel with very hospitable service. Their pool is beautiful and has an outdoor shower. The food and drinks at the restaurant are amazing and again the service is so comforting

The staff were fantastic, from the waiters to the owners. They were always friendly, happy to chat, and gave great advice on what to do during our holiday based on our preferences

Overall, a real gem in Crete

Nice and kind hostess. Clean room and comfortable and had many amenities. Sea view and very close to mini market and the beach. Also nice pool. Highly recommended 🙂

Distant see view, short walk to the old town and about 15/20 min to the beach. The room and the outside areas were spotless. The owner is charming and she couldn’t be more helpful

Everything about this place is 5 stars. The a la carte dining options are incredible with 5 restaurants to choose from, all offering very different cuisine. The cocktails are made fresh and are excellent quality

We had a wonderful time at the resort. We enjoyed the spa. The food was very good. We enjoyed the community cats also. We will be back. Nick was a very big help to us throughout our entire stay.

The resort felt spacious and quiet despite being fully booked. Staff are very attentive and friendly. If we had to be constructive, one criticism would be the buffet - we enjoyed the breakfast

Definitely earned the luxury title. The pool could have been heated as we did visit in the fall, but the water was beautiful and we still swam

One thing I will mention is that there are planes flying low overhead every hour so more during the day so if you’re looking for a super peaceful escape this may not be the one

I noticed there was a decent amount of grime in the corners but it is such a large pool I was not too surprised. Overall this didn’t create an issues

Had such a nice expirence clean room (daily cleaning) view is extraordinary pool view and beach view last but not least the manager Lambros is an amazing guy he will help you for everything just give him a call from the taxi from the airport all your trips restaurants etc

Very clean, comfortable and nice hotel with amazing seaview. We enjoyed spending time there. Great support in ordering a taxi to the airport. Beautiful yard with pool, umbrellas and sun beds

Stayed for 6 nights with teenagers. Perfect! The teenagers had their own apartment and we had one above. We had a view of Palm Beach Club, where you can rent a cot for 5 euros a day

It's really great for teenagers, and everything is within walking distance. Lambros is super friendly and arranges everything for you; all you have to do is send a message

Yes, there's some noise in the evenings from teenagers coming home walking through the hallway and the music from Palm Beach during the day, but you know that beforehand

The bedroom had air conditioning, which was absolutely essential and wonderful in the heat, plus a fridge, freezer and a small kitchen with everything we needed – very convenient! The outdoor area feels like a little oasis with a pool, pool bar, flowers and greenery

We couldn’t be happier with our stay here in Crete! From the very first moment we felt so warmly welcomed – this is a family-run hotel, and you can truly feel it

The location couldn’t be better: free parking just outside, about 15 minutes to the bus stop, and only a few minutes’ walk to the beach and the sea. Central, yet quiet and tucked away – the perfect combination

The only small downside was that the bed was a bit hard, but it was manageable. There were also some ants around the pool area, but nothing that spoiled our experience

We booked this accommodation last minute with TUI holidays and I feel I must review. The apartment was spacious, functional and comfortable and the staff are really friendly and helpful

Good price, and a good location. Booked a very big apartment.

One large enough to accommodate sun loungers and table and chairs and the other smaller was at the side of the building but still had a sea view. Clean, Comfortable, large and lovely host

Right on the beach front, lovely staff, very clean and fresh and a huge balcony. We love hearing the sound on the sea on wakening. Comes with a small kitchen area

Shower in the sea view room was tiny and floods with every shower. WIFI was OK in the room but spotty on the balcony. Could use a few amenities like caffe or tea

On arriving at our hotel in the area and found it shockingly below standard when comparing to the tui pictures, we quickly found Irene apartments! They had one left so we booked as it was only a short walk away from the Home Hotel and have spent a very happy week here

They helped me with car rental, suggestions on where to go and checking I was ok during my stay as I was travelling on my own. Highly would recommend it as a great place to stay when visiting Crete

There's a car rental at the hotel, wish we would have known about earlier. Bathroom a little small and therefore a little impractical (shower and toilet). Still a very nice and relaxing holiday

We stayed here for a week — four adults and a baby. The location is great, close to the sea and just outside the busy touristy center. The pool area was calm and relaxing, and the garden was green and beautiful

Lovely self catering apartments with a pool area. A bit dates outside but gorgeous looking from the inside with attention to detail for a relaxed stay

Such a lovely place. Beautiful surroundings, a good kitchen and a nice pool. Close to the town but without the noice and close to very nice beaches

The location is one of the best in the area as it is literally 50 steps away from one of the best beaches of Hersonissos

Loved it, close to everything but very peaceful and lovely grounds. The pool area has sun all day as there are no high rises nearby!! Great value. Would definitely visit again

We were amazed to have two balconies and our bedroom window over looked the pool and sea. The kitchen is basic but we don't go in holiday to cook

There was a smaller pool by reception which was never busy and had a lovely seating area to it. Bar: There was a bar serving some food and drinks, not overly expensive

One day we had an issue with the toilet flooding the bathroom and as it was late at night we out a bucket under it and spoke to reception the next morning and ot was dealt with straight away and very apologetic but these things happen

Pool: it was a perfect size for the apartments and never felt crowded, I was always up early as like to make the most of my day but could arrive later if your not bothered about certain beds which we weren't

Apartments: We were a family of four and just booked the standard room, when we arrived our room was lovely it had a bed for us and two beds in the living room area with a small kitchen and table and chairs

We had breakfast a few times and some lunchtime snacks and all was lovely and maybe a beer or two. Location: This is in a great location, five minutes walk to shops, bars and restaurants

From the moment I arrived, Kostas and Mike were so friendly and welcoming – they really make this hotel what it is, and it’s no surprise that so many guests return year after year

Reading recent reviews what more can we say but fabulous. First time in Crete but will not be last. Dream Village perfect name for this perfect holiday destination in our opinion

What a fabulous place Dreams Village is, Kostas & Mike make everyone feel welcome, what a friendly atmosphere and also a great bunch of people that stayed there! The hotel was lovely too, the pool and bar area were great, and always had plenty of sunbeds

From first arriving late at night Kostas really takes care of you. From Mike and Chef all day till Kostas in evening they can’t do enough for you to have good time. Maids lovely too rooms spotless and work tirelessly

All family around at times in day love to chat. Just up short hill abundance of restaurants really lovely settings and food

The pool area is also spotlessly clean the pool is warm and well kept and there are plenty of sunbeds for everyone and they are strict about not reserving which is a breath of fresh air when you stay at a hotel

Just returned to Ireland after spending 10 days at Pilot's Villas. The apartments are perfect the grounds are amazing and the family run hotel is absolutely spotless. Will absolutely be back.

Just got home after a weeks stay at this lovely accommodation. Immaculately clean , very peaceful, lovely rooms. Had a garden room was absolutely perfect the views included a partial sea view

The villas, the garden and the pool were spotless, beautifully maintained! What makes this place stand out is the atmosphere: it’s not just a hotel, it feels like being welcomed into a family

Steep hill up to the rooms as is the norm in the village was fine for us but could be a problem if any walking / mobility issues. Thank you Yorgos and family hope to see you again

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday at Pilot's villas. The family who run this place went above and beyond in every way, always welcoming us with genuine kindness and care

They're ideally located - close enough to the main seaside road filled with restaurants, shops, and entertainment, yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle so you can truly relax

The only downside for me is that wi-fi was quite slow in room areas, but it is better in common areas and it didn't ruin my positive impression. It's a good hotel for family vacation, I'd be happy to come back

Breakfast at the Top of History If you're looking for the perfect place to enhance your vacation in Crete, this hotel is an absolute gem! First of all, the apartments are incredibly cozy and just a 2-minute walk from the beach

If you happen to miss breakfast, the staff are happy to prepare a lunch box for you, which is a lovely touch. The location is also excellent -just off the main road with easy access to the bus station

Big shout out to hotel's cat Garfield (who is also a local manager) , who's a bit grumpy and meows at everyone, but is very serious when it comes to food and his job

Host and all the workers were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were nice and clean, they looked cared for. The pool area is also clean and well maintained

The lunch was brilliant! Huge portions, fresh quality food and great prices. We ate at the hotel restaurant most days so tried most of the lunch dishes and we all said how great the food was

Everything is cooked fresh on site and we watched the cook bring all of the fresh ingredients each morning. There's a bbq evening every Friday which we attended both weeks during our stay

☺️ Angela, her husband and the rest of the family made us feel so welcome and really looked after us when we got delayed for a few extra days, Angela I cannot thank you enough for this, you were amazing! The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the beach, a few lovely little bars and some fabulous restaurants

We had a barbecue on the Friday €14 each and worth every penny The food was amazing and plenty of it The apartment itself was very clean and had the best shower I've ever had on holiday,powerful and hot Everything on your doorstep, excellent little restaurant next door, beach 2 minute walk away

My husband and I stayed here with our 8 month old baby and my parents for 14 nights. We were welcomed by Angela herself and she was super friendly and helpful from the start

We ordered plenty of drinks throughout the day and these were brought over to us by the bar staff along with the occasional complimentary snack. Excellent service throughout our whole stay
