Analipsi is a small village with nice restaurants and bars one end and large all inclusive hotels the other. October was relatively quiet but we had good weather and it met all our requirements

Marni is a place that people are proud to work for, and, although we arrived the last week of October and we know everyone is tired and looking forward to a break, staff still give it their all! It is very much appreciated and we are very grateful for making yet another week at Marni village so memorable and relaxing! We travel with a toddler and have always stayed in the same bungalow with private pool. Even at arrival our driver (massive shout out to Yannis again) was waiting for us and it was like meeting an old friend

staff are excellent,hotel food and drink are good but head to some of the local villages and food and cocktails are as good as iv ever had…we stayed in a superior room and it was spacious enough with a nice sitting area out the front

Great property have stayed there 3 times now and found it to be a good base near to every thing sea restaurants shops bars transport can’t fault it staff are lovely very friendly and helpful

We were very pleased by the hotel, the service and the staff but they should work a little bit more on the room cleaning. It is said that they change the bathroom towels everyday and the linens every 3 days

Manos, the man in the front desk who welcomed us, was very polite, he explained carefully every detail, what was included etc. The hotel has different buildings, but we had our room in the main building

You can choose to eat your meal inside, in the restaurant or close by the pool. They also serve drinks (with payment) during dinner time and after. Big thanks to the special barman Ben and Alkeo

It is located in a very calm area. Room was cleaned, comfy and delightful. A pool is located in front of the main building, they give you free towels and you can change them every 3 or 4 days

The area close to the pool is very nice and comfortable. A bar is located close to the pool, they have a menu for snack and drinks, the prices are very economic and the quality is very good

Plenty to do on seafront, lots of different watersports. Would definitely come here on holiday again! 🌞💕

Lovely last minute family holiday! Rooms clean but very basic as you would expect for Greece. Very quiet, bar shuts at 3pm, breakfast available and snacks available until 3pm. Always beds available around pool area

Good location 15 minute walk down to beach and town, quite a steep walk coming back up. Other village around 20 minute walk a little bit further up the hill and round. Lots of lovely restaurants and tavernas

The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were amazing, friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. We felt completely safe in the area, which made the experience even more enjoyable

Asterias Village went above and beyond by upgrading our room. They remembered our first visit and surprised us with a beautiful balcony room overlooking the pool, which we truly did not expect

Set in the hills of Piskopiano, the location is outstanding, with an excellent range of restaurants, bars, and shops within easy reach

In the morning, we woke up and realised our view was blocked by a very large, overlooking tree. We spoke with our Tui rep who was very helpful and managed to get us a sea view room which is what we had paid extra for

Room Room 362 was half way up the hill overlooking the sea and also the main pool/childrens pool, there was loud music all day so no chance of a siesta and the towels were out very early

’ Our family and a few others were told we could not stay and were taken to their other 5* hotel Blue Sea Beach (Stalis) by taxi. We were offered food before we left

For the best part of our stay, the relax pool was attended by a very angry blond - haired lady. Hour by hour, day by day, she would constantly turn children away despite them having made no noise in the pool

On one occasion, she turned away a baby and told the mother to take it to the children's pool even tho it wasn't making any noise or causing bother to any other guests who clearly didn't mind their presence

Our room was also full of spiders, ants and mosquitoes that bit us during the night. We were forced to use a towl to kill them. The toilet matt was also dirty and the bath had chips and marks

We had the most wonderful and relaxing week here. The family who own the apartments were so friendly and welcoming. The apartment was spotless and overlooked stunning views of the sea and mountains

What a quaint little gem! We stayed S/C for one week. The studio was immaculate, with everything you need to prepare and eat a meal. The balcony had an exceptional sea view and mountains

15 minute walk to the supermarket and 20-25 minute walk to the seafront where there were plenty of bars and restaurants. Around a 25-30 minute walk into the old town of Hersonissos

Just on the way home from a 10 night stay in this all I can say fabulous place felt like a privilege to be welcomed into the home of George Maria , Maria and Alexander cannot fault anything thank you for a truly lovely relaxing holiday cannot wait to return

We discovered the traditional villages of Piskopiano and Koutouloufari which were similar in distance and had amazing Greek restaurants. Good bus links which we used to visit Knossos Palace and Malia

First time in Crete and couldn’t of picked a more ideal place. I’m of Cypriot origin and was like being on holiday with family. George is such a lovely man as were his family who run Palatia Village

It is in a beautiful location, has every facility you need but most importantly the staff were sooooo pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with smiling happy faces

The hotel is only a few minutes walk from Old Hersonissos where there were same amazing tavernas. The dinner buffet was varied and tasty. We enjoyed the Greek dishes included in the menu

It is situated on a hill so the walk up can be challenging for older people but the views once there are breathtaking!! The team headed by George are friendly, attentive and create a fantastic ambiance for all to enjoy

The bar offers great food and a good selection of drinks. The pool is amazing, very clean and well maintained. The rooms are large with extremely comfy beds and a balcony to enjoy the views

Sundance is a lovely location close to shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment we had was extremely spacious, clean and overlooked the sea. Towels and bedding changed regularly

First time staying in these apartment, but we have been frequent visitors to the village for over 20 years. From the moment we arrived we were treated as returning guests. Check in was extremely friendly and informative

Our 2 storey apartment was very stylishly furnished with two balconies with views towards the pool and further afield to the sea. The main kitchen/lounge was upstairs with a large bedroom and shower room downstairs

The Sundance apartments are in a prime position in the village of Koutouloufari. A five minute walk from the apartments brings you to the entrance to the main street where all the bars, restaurants and shops are situated

We had requested a high room prior to our arrival but was informed the booking from our agent only provided ground floor Accommodation. As they had room they upgraded us to a 1 one bedroom duplex which was fantastic

The indoor pool in the basement was small and cramped. Many places to eat or shop in close proximity, although most of the restaurants along the beach were similar in menu. Decent availability for trip pickups nearby

The hotel is simply charming, everything is new and lovely, the rooms are very comfortable and very clean, there is a lovely spa and a pool on the roof and it is really wow

Cleaning time was also wildly inconsistent, anytime between 12pm-5pm, making it hard if you just want a few hours inside without being disturbed. The pools were exactly as pictured, and was cleaned regularly

The room itself was fine, bigger than what I originally ordered, but mostly empty and had no indoor table, only a sofa that wasn't great to sit on. Rest of the room was fine, as expected

Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. Some bread, half cold eggs and bacons, a bit of fruit, yogurt, and cakes. It would be more appropriate for an average 3 star hotel, not 4 stars

My husband and I spent 5 days here a week ago. It was the perfect break from our busy lives. The hotel is a small family run concern and is absolutely charming. Lovely pool area with views over Heronissos and the sea

We stayed in the adults only suite which is amazing. A sea view from your enormous bathroom, comfortable large bed with everything you could need

I was nervous about dragging my suitcase up the hill but I was met in the parking area and everything was taken care of for me proactively. They have a lovely bar/restaurant area with a good selection of food and wine

We recently stayed at Creta Blue for the week. This hotel is beautiful and set high up with a lovely view. The room was immaculate and well equipped. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful

I would like to give my special thanks to Antzela who works tirelessly at the pool bar, as well as Emma and Dan who work extremely hard at the restaurant, and also male receptionists, and the older cleaning lady

Also, the location kind of sucks, as long as you are prepared for quite of a cardio each day. However, what also must be acknowledged is the fact the staff is simply marvellous and charming

If we return, we’d definitely book a family room with a separate bedroom for better comfort and rest. The food was decent the cold salads were fresh, and buffet trays were refilled quickly

I've just come back from this hotel (my trip was from the 10th of August till 17th). I would personally rate it for 3 stars only, as it doesn't meet all the requirements for 4 starts

Such simple thing, yet there's no bottled water in rooms, food is excellent, but repeteable and often cold, there's rather limited choice of drinks, and truly all that 'all inclusive' is more of a myth than truth

The room was okay, we had a sea view and the kids had a bunk bed, but it wasn’t very sturdy and made a lot of noise. The mattresses were very hard, and you could feel the springs, making it uncomfortable to sleep

Our family recently stayed at Anthoula Village, and we were especially impressed with the receptionist, Osra. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, making the check-in process easy and stress-free for all of us

The chef goes to great lengths to introduce you to the local cuisine and surpasses himself every time. The people who work there are extremely friendly and helpful! They try to make sure the guests have a good time

Most evenings, we spent in the outdoor bar talking with Eva and other guests. We enjoyed the super relaxed atmosphere of the ‘resort. Clean and swept every day to remove the Sahara dust, as were all the deck chairs

The accommodation is very nice clean and everything you need to self cater if you want to. However Eva cooks amazing traditional Greek food for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you wish

In a moment of crisis when our baby wasn’t feeling well, Eva didn’t hesitate to personally take us to the hospital and make sure we were okay. Traveling with a 9-week-old baby, that level of care meant the world to us

We never truly felt the 5-star experience until we arrived at Evalia. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality that no luxury resort can replicate

But after falling in love with the island, we decided to extend our trip—and that’s when we found Evalia Apartments. That decision turned out to be the highlight of our stay in Crete

The owner Eva went above and beyond in every way—from offering fantastic local recommendations to always being a friendly and caring presence

We had the basics for self catering and plenty of space including a seating area inside. We also had a plenty of storage space (a dresser, bedside, and a wardrobe with plenty of hangers)

The views from our balcony were astounding. We had a lovely seating area outside with a rack to dry our clothes in the sun. Our room included a tv and a safe

The bathroom had a towel rack, the toilet, a shower with a curtain and area to contain the water so it didn’t make the whole bathroom a wet room, as well as a sink, mirror, area for toiletries and a hair dryer

A wonderful hotel! Everything is clean, relaxed, and pleasant, and the rooms are very comfortable. We were particularly impressed by the friendliness of the staff; you immediately feel welcome

There were also plenty of sunbeds to use at the top of the stairs - great for direct sun! ☀️ The reception area also had drinks available and breakfast in the morning

Last minute order for me and 2 kids. The room had 3 levels, which sounds weird but actually gives plenty of space, with a kitchen, kids floor and "master bedroom" on top

I was expecting that for the price we payed and the number of stars that the hotel hasy, to have it for free. NO sea view but the beach is located at 5 min distance

Standard facilities, but very clean and well maintained. The hotel dining room and pool are on the main street, 1 min walk which was fun to get out

Plus, since it was a last minute they upgraded us to half board instead of just breakfast, which was delightful!
