Hotel Casa Moazzo in Rethymno

We’ve been coming to this hotel for three years in a row now, and it truly feels like home to us. The owner and staff are incredibly kind and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast is always fresh and delicious. The location is excellent—very central—and there’s also a large parking area nearby. Even on the busiest days, you can find a spot if you wait just a few minutes. We’re so happy with this place that we’ll definitely stay here again on our fourth visit.

Beautiful property with an excellent location, historical value and super friendly staff!! Everyone was so accommodating and made us feel very welcomed, from the check-in, the guy who was there during breakfast, simply everyone! Rooms are very spacious and clean, I totally recommend it!

I absolutely adore this hotel! To say that it's perfect is an understatement. We spent about 4 nights over the summer and I still have the fondest memories of our stay. It was so enjoyable to return after touring around and being welcomed by Manos and his family. Absolutely beautiful people. Helpful, friendly, courteous, kind (I still remember the Portokalopita - Efharisto!) We were given many beach and restaurant recommendations that were all terrific. Our room was one of the smaller ones and absolutely magical. Don't hesitate for a moment to book here. I hope some day to return. I often think of Casa Moazzo and the brilliant time we had. A true example of Cretan "Filotimo"!

Everyone was so wonderful! From the moment I’ve arrived Manos made me feel very comfortable- he is amazing. He helped me so many times with any questions or concerns for my travels! Eva was a delight every morning- she was so sweet and attentive, always smiles and just makes your morning so much better - she is like a Rey of sunshine. Anna is one of the great people I’ve met- she is also so attentive to every detail and your needs. Very kind and happy. Everyone makes me feel like a part of their family and I didn’t want to leave. Yes, I loved my super clean and beautiful room, but it’s those people who made this stay unforgettable and it! I will decently return! Thank you Manos, Eva and Ana!!!

What a wonderful stay me and my family had. Anna and her family are just spectacular. The breakfast was the best we ever had. The suite was spotless and had a beautiful terrace. We will be planning a return for longer next year.

A very lovely place to stay in Rethymno. Staff are amazing and friendly. Manos stayed up late after our flight was delayed and allowed us to check in during the middle of the night which was so appreciated. The owners are also so friendly and welcoming, it’s like staying with family. Room was large and the breakfast is fantastic. Location is great in the old town, close to the paid parking lot. Loved our stay here!

We have never experienced a stay like this before. The owner and staff treated us like family. From the moment we entered the lobby and Yannis welcomed us with a traditional Greek pastry to our early checkout and Yannis prepared a breakfast the night before for us to take with us. The owner, Anna, is warm, friendly, welcoming. We looked forward to our little visits with her during breakfast. They offer concierge services and suggestions that are very helpful. We loved the breakfast and eating it in the beautiful courtyard. The breakfast staff were so nice and want you to enjoy your meal and tend to you like family. We loved the location that is conveniently located to markets, restaurants, and the beach. The Orien Suite was perfect for us We loved the decorations and comfortable furnishings. Especially, the loveseat and coffee table make it a nice retreat. The cleanliness was top notch. The parking requires a short walk. It’s easy to get around on foot and probably more convenient. I was a little sad to leave and hope to return. Casa Moazzo, we want to say thank you, sas efcharisto poly!
