Hotels with pool in Rethymno

Bed is very hard. Pool very good,but some put towels out in the morning and don't use the sun loungers until later in the day. This shouldn't be allowed. Good pool bar.rooms are good n big. Aircon is 6 Euro a day.

The hotel is located a bit off the main areas, but this was more than compensated by the well-kept facilities, the friendly service, and the excellent cocktails at the pool bar

The hotel is nice and clean in general, a big pool with shallow water for kids and a pool bar. The rooms are ok with one noteble exception. Our room was sticking of cigarette smoke when we checked in

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was always polite and welcoming, which made us feel very well taken care of

This was one of my favorite hotels during my trip and I only wish I booked it for longer. They even gave me a free gift when I checked in.

We stayed here for a fortnight between August 1st and 15th 2025. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent location, very decent rooms (beds are made daily except Sundays as are fresh towels)

the other guests during our stay were Dutch 30-50 yr old couples or families (no small kids). if i must look at negatives as i always do, sure its not dashing new and the pool is small

TLDR; very cozy and chill beach & pool getaway if you just wanna take it easy in a home like environment. my initial (and final) reaction was that the photos don’t do justice to the place

very nice owners, they make you feel like home. even brought a drying rack to our balcony which was useful. the pool temperature in july was around 27-29c, in other words very nice and comfy

u can move the poolside chairs around to get shade under the trees, i enjoyed the peace & quiet, perfect for reading and chilling. there is s bit more yard space than shown in the photos

We read about this hotel as being “spectacular”. And it is!! Everything about Avli Lounge is beautiful. Stellios2 was the most fabulous staff member. The hotel is funky for the young at heart

Beautiful apartment walking distance to all amenities - shops, restaurants, bars. Free car park for those who hire a car to see the amazing island of Crete. Staff accommodating, nothing was to much trouble

There seems to be a real team spirit amongst the staff, who are all great and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable

Wonderful house in the middle of old town with all the facilities you need. Quist and centrally located at the same tine. We have been there twice and will soon be back again.

The hotel has a restaurant and they serve breakfast ko and it was so delicious. It’s so close to shopping and walkable to attractions. The receptionist and the waitress were very friendly. I definitely going back.

We stayed at Civitas for 9 days and it was a wonderful experience. The location in Old Town Was the Best! We can’t say enough about the Staff, they were all so welcoming and helpful we really felt at home here

Just need to decide when I'll be back! The hotel is easily accesible to all the key sights in Rethymno town and has very friendly and helpful staff who are happy to ensure you have the best stay possible

Our breakfast was amazing lovely area to enjoy the morning as well beautiful view of the harbour. If you don’t like stairs than I would recommend one of the apartments that are all on one level

Breakfast is one of the best I've had on holiday - a wide selection and generous portions helped to set each day up for explorong the town and its surroundings

The staff was very helpful. The room was well maintained and unique. The breakfast included was excellent, on a beautiful patio looking out to the sea.

However, breakfast was included so no probs there. Enjoyed the varied buffet breakfast. Pool is small and on the roadside so noisy at times. Small beach area for the hotel but we had a lovely patio outside the room

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent, comfy beds, great staff and it's on the sea! The beach nearby is pebbly and it's a 25 minute walk to the old town - not a huge amount to do in the immediate area, but the hotel itself more than makes up for that!

Sea view split level suite was excellent. Very clean and the best views. Slight smell from drainage but didn't spoil the holiday. The restaurant was run separately so could not charge meals to room

Menta City Hotel is a 5 Star property in my book! The lobby, pool area and breakfast area are all beautifully decorated. Rooms are exceptional. Complimentary breakfast is delicious!

We had a great stay! The hotel is very clean and well-kept, you feel right at home. I would particularly like to highlight the staff - super friendly, helpful and simply cool. Also very suitable for children.

For those of us with mobility issues, this is a problem. NB I did check on Google maps before booking and they claimed the walking route is ‘mostly flat’!

The place and the hostesses- AMAZING! Loved the energy there. Loved the apartment we lived in. Loved the service, the breakfast and every other thing that we had in Rethymno

The staff will help you, though, we chose the easiest way - the marina parking. Although in the centre, it was pretty quiet. There is also a lovely small swimming pool on site

! I felt so greatful! The special advantage of these cosy apartments is that the bedroom is separate from the living room with the kitchen corner

One little minus is that creating some kind of air circulation in the bedroom was difficult to impossible, even in the night with open windows

The rooms are kept clean, each has a balcony or a terrace, and most of them face a quiet side street

Hence, your loved ones have a chance to sleep, while you vigorously chop a salad or beat an omlet

Best Boutique Hotel This was my favorite boutique hotel, and hotel in general, I've ever stayed in. It's like a little oasis in heaven when you turn off of busy Old Town Rethymno

We stayed in a superior family suite with a sea view and jacuzzi which was modern, well-proportioned and spotlessly clean. Fresh towels including beach towels daily. Bed linen changed every other day

The location was the real highlight, with use of the sunbeds on the beach directly opposite, the town and so many restaurants and shops nearby, you're spoiled for choice. I really want to go back one day!

We are currently at Ilios, going home Friday. We are so pleased to have selected this apartment hotel. It's adults only which is a bonus. Our apartment 321 overlooks the pool

It doesn't get much sun which suits us fine (it may be different in the summer). There's plenty of storage and a well equipped kitchenette. Housekeeping is done every morning by the friendly cleaners

All the staff have been cheerful and welcoming. Rethymno has miles long walks in either direction by the sea. We've clocked up so many steps/miles this week. There's a small garden area which leads to a street exit

There's a supermarket a short walk to the left. The hotel does extensive breakfasts but we chose to do our own thing

We used the pool a lot and the food and bar service here was excellent. We also used the bar and food service when we were on the beach, and again you could not fault it

The rooms were really clean, beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was tasty. The whole building was clean and bright, the pool was warm. With a little luck we always had a parking space in front of the building

Major positive was the pool, Which was well maintained and kept in excellent condition

Nice clean spacious rooms. Beach is at the opposite side of the road. I would say that the kitchen is a bit poor equiped.

The rooms are clean, modern and spacious with two bathrooms (a very big plus). The location of the hotel is great, everything is at a walkable distance. The hotel owner is very nice and warm, and so was all the staffs

If you want to relax and enjoy the beach then this place is perfect. We enjoyed having a kitchenette so that when we wanted a little break from the beach, we could quickly go back to our room and have a snack

We had the perfect stay at Steris Beach Hotel. No complaints all well, it was such a satisfying stay. We booked a junior suite and the view was stunning

it is lovely small hotel , facing the sea, on the strip of Rethymnon beach enjoying lovely views over Rethymnon city and the endless blue. The large sandy beach is steps away from the property

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Crete. We have been in Crete for 5 weeks and this is by far the best hotel we have stayed.

-The whole room smelled like farts due to the drain in the kitchen and bathroom. -Some of the electric sockets were loose and came out of the wall. -Would be nice if the rooftop pool had a shower

Now sweaty sunbathers just went in without rinsing off first. -Would have been nice to get the information about the breakfast opening earlier on the day of your departure. -The breakfast area was a tad bit small

-Modern key card to open the door and a button you could press if you didn’t want to be disturbed. -Nice and friendly staff -Great water pressure in the shower. -Full length mirror in the room

It would be better if the beds were bolted together and there was a big top mattress on top of them both so that you can actually sleep next to your spouse without risking to end up on the floor in between the beds

-It wasn’t too nice to sit on the balcony since the wall that separates your balcony from the neighbours was extremely small. You could easily just climb next door if you wanted to

-The room was a bit small and the layout wasn’t the best. It would have been nice to have a small kitchen table instead of the sofa. It also lacked a good makeup mirror
