I stayed in REK inn for two days and highly recommend it. The room was very clean and the location was great, easily accessible by walk and public transport, not far front the city center, and next to the Bonus supermarket. The cost was great comparing to Icelandic standards. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay here the next time I visit Reykjavik!

The room here is quite silence and you can park your car freely outside the building. I mean at the other side of the street.
I have seen the first snow in Iceland how beautiful we’re here and you can see the bonus supermarket near here. It’s only about several steps away from here.

A great place, easy to get to and ideal for providing a base to head off North West or to the south of the island.
We had the double room with ensuite bathroom, clean, tidy & ideal for the two of us. Shared kitchen was good for breakfasts, couldn't comment on the the rest of the available facilities as we ate out most of the time so didnt need to use them. Free parking was a definite bonus as was Bonus the supermarket being right next door.

Great hotel at a great price compared to everywhere else. It's about a 20-30 minute walk from the city centre but worth it for the quality and price. The room was clean and the area was quiet.

We stayed at that property for 3 nights. The self-check-in instructions were clear and easy, and had been sent one day in advance. It was a simple room on the ground floor in a house with a shared kitchen. Yet we had a bathroom in the room. It generally took 20 minutes to get to the town hall on foot. There was a comfortable bed, a TV, a small coffee table and a hanger in the room. The private bathroom was quite nice. The shared kitchen was well equipped with a microwave, a refrigerator, a toaster, an oven, a kettle, some crockery, etc. There were also some tea/coffee available in the kitchen. The room was warm as there were some heated radiators. Yet it wasn’t quite clean, but we didn’t care much about that. Overall, that homestay can be recommended as a price/quality ratio is utterly honest for Reykjavik.

Very close to the city centre, nice and quiet neighbourhood, with supermarket next door. Kitchen available to be used on site was perfect!

I loved to stay here! It is super close to the shopping street, and you can easier walk all the way, there is also a bus station very close. It is not a place to stay inside the whole day, but there is a nice lounge bank inside.

Nice clean small room with private bath. It's great location for me. Quiet & it's about 1.2 km to the Hallgrimskirkja You can park car at side street.

As we arrived earlier, the staff made it possible to check in a little earlier, for what we were really thankful! The rooms are clean and in a shared area you can find a fridge and cook for yourself (there’s also a supermarket right next to the hotel). Even if it’s just a 10 minute walk into the center (25 to the harbour area) you’ll find free parking spots across the street. At night it was quiet.

I stayed in single but the single room was too narrow than I expected. Probably this is partially because I had a big suitcase, but the room itself is not so convenient to stay for several days (staying just one day may be no problem).

Common kitchen, common space and common bathroom are useful. There is a supermarket in neighbor and it sells many stuffs, but it closes just 18:00.

This hotel is close to Hlemmer square, where there are many restaurants and bars.

This hotel is good for plurality of person, such as with friends or couples.

We had the room with the private washroom. It was very nice. Small kitchen with microwave but no stove if you planned on buying groceries and cooking. There is a fridge though and coffee and tea. Bonus grocery store is next door. Location is excellent and very central. Parking is available out front but it's pay parking between certain hours. I believe after 6 it is free. There is street parking on the road next to the building. We didn't have trouble finding a spot here. Hot water smells a bit of sulfur like many places in Iceland.
