Extremely good service, the hotel made perfect arrangement for check-in out of office hour. I could get my room key easily and I'm able to store my luggage afterwards. Millions thanks for the arrangement of the hotel

Accommodations were great as everything in the city centre was nearby and the airport shuttle has a bus stop just across the street making it easy and very accessible. Would highly recommend.

Really good location for our need. At edge of city center, but close enough. Around the corner from bus stop 9 and a block from a very good food hall and 24/7 market.

Perfect location for someone traveling solo. Conveniently located to dining and shopping. Very walkable to anywhere no need for car rental or public transportation

This property was conveniently located to shops and restaurants. There was onsite paid parking. Only downfall was that the garage opens at 7am.

There were two American blamed the host that they did not know it is shared bathroom, and kept saying ' I have never live in a shared-bathroom accommodation', ' the room is so small and not nice', ' I am so disappointed' in front of the host while greeting them for checking in

Check out the hot tub next the ocean!!! The town is extremely cute. The house is wonderful, the old couple who run it were very nice and helpful, they obviously care a lot about the place

Everything is very well organized, clean, and even slippers are provided so that guests leave their shoes at the door. The whole place is spotless and the kitchen is very well equipped

Basically situated in the middle of nowhere. Just you and the glacier, can you imagine? Would love to come back in winter to have a chat with northern lights. Would stay in Fosshotel again if I were to return

The reception staff were very helpful and friendly, which made check-in smooth and welcoming. After a long day of driving, it was such a relief to lie down in the extremely comfortable beds, they were just what I needed

The room was so nice and simple, the dining area has a very beautiful view, the food was very good, and very nice staff. I would come back and stay in this place if I ever visit Iceland again

Later, we found out that the chef at this hotel is a Polish woman who has been cooking there for years. The breakfasts were very filling and offered a wide selection

The restaurant is delicious, the service is great, and there is a hot spring spa. It has a very strong pastoral feel and is very quiet at night. The room is old

The staff and room were both lovely! Beds were very clean and comfortable, the bathroom was very clean and had a nicely heated rack for towels, etc. It was a lovely touch.

The shower and the kitchen in our building was maintained clean and functional. It somehow lacked details, as seen in other guesthouses over Iceland (towels to dry dishes etc)

It was a big room with 8 single beds og 2 toilets. the beds were wonderfull og the room was clean. The morning buffet had a very fine selection and diary free and glutenfree options

Overall the location was great for getting around on the coach and it was very nice hotel especially the hot tub which was an amazing experience however I imagine it be so much more magical if you get to see the northern lights in the hot tub which is not the hotels fault

The cheapest and the coziest choice of all 4 hotels/hostels/guesthouses we have visited. Good choice to spend a night after the Golden Circle before heading to Vik.

The room was spacious and clean, with excellent hygiene. The view from the window was beautiful, offering sights of the sunrise and numerous small volcanic craters. Check-in and parking were convenient

The front desk even asked if we'd like to be notified about the Northern Lights, which was a very thoughtful touch. That evening, I managed to capture many photos of the aurora

Best hotel we've been to in Iceland with very helpful staff who even wake you up at night if Northern lights are showing. only hotel so far with this service. Their home-brewed beer is also excellent

Hveragerði is a perfect location for traveling around the scenic parts of Iceland, and the hotel is conveniently located next to a supermarket and a gas station. We will absolutely be back to The Greenhouse Hotel!

One of the best experiences on a trip. Beyond how breathtaking the country is, I had an amazing stay. All the hotel amenities were incredible, and we enjoyed food that we never expected to be so delicious

Stayed here with my family during our Iceland vacation and we absolutely loved this stylish spot! We shared a family room and quarters were tight, but the beds were amazingly comfortable, the heated bathroom floors were a game changer and the decor was perfect

It was a good one night stay for our journey North on our clockwise Route 1 journey. We did a late check-in close to 10pm and found the keys and a map (which could have been clearer) to find our room

We went from the Myvatn area to Straw Hat Mountain. We gave up the whale watching trip to Husavik, but the distance to Straw Hat Mountain was a bit long, so we chose this hotel as a transfer

The hotel has a good location in the city center. The front desk service was excellent; a Pakistani man there even gave us a map showing us places to visit. The room was very nice and spacious, but the kettle leaked.

Night staff and housekeeping are also great. This hotel does not have a bar but there are plenty nearby, so this for me is not a negative, infact this adds to the charm. Bus stop 14 or 6 gets you to the hotel

The location is great. The front desk staff were very friendly and recommended nearby restaurants. The breakfast was not luxurious, but very delicious. We were able to check in earlier than expected.

Both are around 300 metres away. Breakfast is a typical European affair, meats,cheese,bread, porridge, eggs and tea,coffee and fruit juice. I love this hotel and I am already planning my return

Nice hotel but the pool was closed. We had a great time in the hot pot with a bunch of travelers from around the world.

We stayed on the campsite outside the hotel and it was very good. The natural hot tub is a must! Would definitely recommend stopping there.

Clean, warm, and comfortable bed. The shower is deep/hard to get into and slippery. I recommend a no slip mat inside the shower for added safety.

There is a fire place in the bar-lounge area and that makes for a great evening experience. Two hot-tubs and a sauna also on premises

Great touring base. Rooms need an upgrade but it was comfortable and everything worked well. No complaints just a bit basic. Food was great if a tad pricey. The location was good for touring south Iceland

Hot tubs are quite big and have 2 different temperatures, which means you'll never be cold & you can always cool off a bit in the 36-38C tub. Staff is also very friendly and ready to help. A great gem in the countryside!

The interior was a bit dated with some carpet that needs to be replaced. But this hotel has 2 nice hot tubs and a sauna. We ate dinner and breakfast here as we were tired and far from town

The hot tubs and sauna are open 24 hours. It was wonderful sitting in the hot tub as big snowflakes came down. Lastly, the service here is above and beyond, always with a smile. the hotel uses compostable takeaway cups

Omar who saw us at work directly thought about the details and brought us carrots from the store. This little gesture showed us how much he loves this place and what they're building here

Rooms are big, well headed, comfortable and sparkling clean. Also in winter time, in January, they are here, with all you need. They are for Islands kindness. We love this land and come back

The location is ideal for hiking and other activities has the hot terms of Vök. While we where waiting for the weather to get better, we made a snowman

They where patient and helpful to answer all our questions and help us reassure. Thanks to them we where able to make the most of this stormy day

Overall a great find :) staff were helpful, friendly and gave good advice on our plans. Breakfast range was plentiful, hot tubs were a great treat after long hikes. Place was clean, modern and comfortable

Really enjoyed our stay here – the hotel is modern and cozy, in a peaceful location. Yes, the rooms (especially the bathroom) are a bit small, but the included spa and breakfast more than make up for it

Would stay here again if I’m back. One small downside is that the showers were abit small. Would strongly advise providing non-slip mats as I did nearly trip in the showers

It’s also conveniently located with lots of shops/restaurants within easy walking distance. We parked at the nearby Traðarkot Parking House which always had spaces available and was reasonable priced

The hotel is centrally positioned. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. My plans changed and staff were very understanding.

The location was great! All the bus stops are nearby, and there's a supermarket close by too. Highly recommend it.

The hotel is really in the center of the city.

The coffee cups could do with being bigger, although I noticed coffees in Iceland are smaller than the UK! The only negative was that there is a bar just round the corner, which was very lively, with a party in full flow through till the early hours of the morning

Our little double bed cabin was so precious and held perfectly fine against the winter wind and cold. We loved that we could park right outside our cabin rather than lug our luggage through a hotel from a parking lot

Have travelled the world but this place is truly special. Vasillis took great care of us all evening until the Northern Lights appeared. What an incredible experience. Great hospitality. Clean, comfortable and warm.

Perfect location just outside Hofn. Very nice guesthouses with shared bathrooms. We stayed only for one night but we couldn't have asked for anything better. In line with prices in and around Hofn.

Wifi worked well, plenty of outlets, shower (though small) was amazing, beautiful view. Only two small things to note: no fridge (which seems common for Iceland?) and the breakfast was an extra fee

Absolutely our favorite stay while in Iceland. This spot is about 10 minute outside of the main Hofn area and very affordable. Our self-check in was very easy and our room was easy to find

Nice hotel in a nice town with nice food

It's a student dorm but in the summer it's a hotel. Therefore the rooms are not super cosy, but it's okay and clean. All rooms have a great view onto the fjord! Breakfast was great! And you can make your own waffles! 😍

The hotel was clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Although this town is quite far from the ring road, it was a pleasant stay. Food was extra expensive but it seems to be a norm in Iceland anyway.

Simple, but clean room. View from our room on the Fjord was beautiful. Small bathroom which could use an update. Dinner and breakfast were both good.

Furthermore, the hotel’s convenient proximity to the city center made exploring very easy while allowing for a quiet retreat at the end of the day

First I would like to mention that we stayed in the cottage, so my review is about it. The property is 5 minutes from town on a beach area, so there nothing around. The cottage was spacious and clean

I stayed for two nights in a modern cabin close to the beach, which I think they refer to as a "luxury cottage". Friendly staff, clean & comfortable room with kitchenette including a microwave and mini fridge
