Staff is nice and informative. Very good.
Room was spacious. Breakfast and stass were good.
Best hotel Ive stayed in so far in Iceland. I've been to 6 hotels so far. The room and bathroom was a good size. The bathroom I had was themed a bit like a volcano. Plenty of electric plugs in the room, a TV. Breakfast was the best selection I've had so far. This hotel has an elevator which was great to not carry bags up. All great things on this hotel.
Staff in the restaurant was not too helpful....
Best hotel in the area
Comfortable bed
Tranquil environment
Delicious food
We stayed here overnight as part of 8 day Troll tours. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere with no other shops, restaurants around
Rooms are nice sized with big windows, comfortable beds and clean. Bathroom was reasonable except for no shower door.
There is a hotel restaurant with limited menu and average service. Food was good though.
Good room, clean room and good facility. There are a lot parking.

Selfoss, Eyravegur 11-13, 800 Selfoss, Yuzhnaya Islandiya, Islandiya 🧭 Map
The place to stay is very close to the church. Service is so-so. Breakfast is okay. Eating at KFC nearby is the most cost-effective option; places like Da Shi Dai are just a few minutes' walk away. I ate there. The pizza was over 200 kilos, and the crust was completely burnt. I saw other people were also complaining. A bowl of noodles was 170 kilos, a fried rice was 200 kilos, a taco was 120 kilos...
They were very attentive and provided warm service; there's really nothing to say, just go for it. Cleanliness could be improved, the bed and blankets are a little small, but overall it was still very good.
Located in the heart of Selfoss, it offers easy access to both the coast and the inland area.
The facilities are relatively new. The rooms are not particularly large.
There's parking, but it's limited, so you'll have to park on the street if you run out.
Breakfast is similar to other hotels, but the selection isn't extensive. The coffee is good.
There's a spa, but it costs 3,000 kroner per person...
This hotel has a very stylish design, and the price is surprisingly reasonable. The bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, and small windows are all very tasteful. The hotel also has free parking, which is very convenient.
good location, everything nearby
Clean modern hotel situated near the entrance to the town. Large room but space mostly in the washroom (if you like big washrooms its great). Breakfast is BIG plus in Iceland, hot cooked American breakfast (bacon, eggs, sauteed mushrooms, bread and toast), lots of juices and milk, three cereals available. Avoid the espresso machine just get the brewed coffee made by the staff. Tea is sachet so dependable...

Its a good place to stay and very near of everything, take note the shower water pressure might not be strong but for us its good enough
Very well located place. Has a nice breakfast and the staff is courteous and helpful.
Nice hotel and nice people good location.
Great parking in a decent located area, only short walks to downtown.
The hotel has a great location and the service was excellent. It was a huge plus that we could check in as early as 11 AM on the day of arrival if a room was available. The only minor downside was that the facilities felt a bit dated.
Location excellent. The desk lady was a lottle abrupt and welcome was not so warm. I tried to engage in conversation but it was very transactional and cold. Room was nice and very clean. The breakfast was basic but ok for free. Charged for coffee.

The room was great! The staff were very helpful and we were able to get an early check in since our flight landed at 7am. Hotel was very quiet and nice! Definitely worth a try!
Room was great. It would be great if the rooms were as updated as the lobby area. The rooms are a little dated and thr hallways leading to the rooms have the grandma's house smell, but overall it was good. I'd come back.
Everything was fine; just a hotel to sleep while you are vacationing, nothing special.
Stay at Hotel Iceland Comfort was pleasant. Price of accommodation very acceptable. Room neat, clean and comfortable. Receptionist extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent but a little on the expensive side.
Smell of a fish dish through the reception of the hotel every evening. Not in the rooms though. Room clean and comfortable thoughout the stay.
Very nice staff and nice room!!Have coffee inside as well as tea. However, the mattress and the bed needs renovation as it quite old.

It’s a quite quiet and unique hotel with spacious room and great breakfast.
I had a wonderful night’s stay at Langaholt Hotel. The staff was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The hotel itself is spotless and comfortable, with a relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food was amazing, served buffet-style with a perfect mix of local Icelandic dishes and international favorites. Do yourself a favor and stay here—you won’t regret it
Great place, beautiful surroundings. Breakfast is very good and their staff are very friendly. We would highly recommend this to everyone.
The wonders of Iceland. Had a great stay here - arrived late on a wet and windy night but the room soon warmed up and was nice and toasty. Lovely breakfast. Unfortunately I managed to leave my driving licence there but the wonderful Sumna got in contact after we had left and drove it personally to another hotel / going out of her way by some distance. What fantastic service is that !
I haven't had the chance to visit your accommodation yet, but I had some clients coming next month... until Play Air went bankrupt.
This bankruptcy hurt my small business. I work alone, and you have alleviated my debt to the customer. Thank you for your empathy. I can't say the same about other hotels in Iceland.
I would like to express my gratitude, I will always keep you in mind for future reservations...
The location is very good, and they have a restaurant, so guests who arrive late can have dinner there.

rooms and bathroom are small but comfortable. If lucky you can see the Northern light from the room. Great breakfast!
Breakfast was delicious! If you're too lazy to go into town in the evening, the hotel's paid buffet is also quite good. Both the taste and value for money are excellent! I even saw the Northern Lights when I went down for breakfast in the morning!
Very nice, cozy, and good breakfast buffet! 10/10 RECOMMEND!
My amazing stay as I saw northern lights directly from the room's winsows
Decent place overall. Hotel was located alongside the main road and easily accessible. Check in process was relatively smooth. Room was visibly clean, beds were comfortable and blackout curtains and radiator were effective. Breakfast was slightly disappointing as it was mostly a cold continental one with no hot food options. The appearance of a rainbow in the morning added a nice touch to the stay
Extreme tiny room and bathroom, no view, difficult to move around and even to put the suitcase. Bedding is uncomfortable and bad pillows.

Perfect! From the first moment i entered the room i felt like crying for my happiness.
It is true i had been camping the last week before that but, the rooms are warm, there is a kettle and some coffee and tea, maybe the shower would be great to have like a door of glass and not a curtain.
The breakfast was out of this world as you can imagine by the pictures.
Overall the room could not have been better...
A nice hotel conveniently located near restaurants, groceries, and the harbor. Wonderfully friendly staff. Large rooms with private baths. I didn't pay for the breakfast because it was ridiculously expensive for what is offered, so don't know if it is good. Overall, a nice hotel in a lovely town.
Very nice hotel in a lovely location with great views. The evening meal was good as was the breakfast too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not much in the local town but there is a little restaurant worth a visit. The rooms are well-equipped and clean, though a little soulless. As we found in quite a number of hotels, unless you are travelling on a coach tour it is harder to get the best view...
The hotel is simple yet elegant. Nordic hotels often appear simple, but once you enter, you're completely comfortable. Compared to hotels in Asia, the rooms seem quite spacious, but considering this is a remote fishing village in the Westfjords, having such a modern and comfortable hotel is a luxury in itself. The hotel restaurant is amazing. The menu is simple, and we ordered the usual lamb and fish...
Wonderful location. Convenient and easy parking. Definitely, one of the best 4 starts hotels in Iceland. Will return.
Good chain-hotel, clean, and you get what you expect from Fosshotels. The drawback is that the breakfast is OK, but not always quality ingredients, also the dinner was very expensive for a small portion and not even good quality. p.s. In the town is a much better place for dinner.

Great hotel. Beautiful view in the parking lot of the volcano and glacier, and the perfect spot to see the northern lights. Breakfast was great with lots of options. Beds were very comfortable.
The only problem I had was the sink is absolutely tiny. Like ridiculously tiny, half the size of a regular sink- if you try to brush your teeth, you pretty much end up missing it completely.
I also didn't...
I did not stay here, but I popped in while hiking the coastline nearby, and the staff were very kind! They had a nice selection of drinks and snacks, and I bought juice to fuel the return hike. Much appreciated!
Beautiful hotel with a great view of the ocean. Room/bathroom were a little small but still comfortable and modern. Breakfast was included and was delicious! Plenty of patios to see the beautiful view and the staff was lovely. Great walking/hiking trail right behind the hotel.
A beautifully located hotel. Not really necessary to pay extra for a sea view, as the windows are quite small. However, it's a really nice hotel, serving good food and with delightful staff.
It's basically on the mountain, feels like a guesthouse, and isn't very cost-effective.
The room is quite large.
A wonderful hotel!! Our rooms were very comfortable and had great views of the sea and coastline. The staff were professional, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and filling. Walking trail to Arnarstapi was right outside the door. A great hotel to stay in when on Snaefellsnes.

Beautiful little, well equiped cabins in a lovely setting. Service was excellent. I had to call as stuck in a snow storm/ whiteout and thought we were going to be late to book in. This was no problem. Great breakfast selection. I would definitely come again.
Breakfast is very great and the landowners are very friendly. We were actually living at the Landbrot Guesthouse, but have the free breakfast offered by the owner there at Magma.
The room was absolutely wonderful! Clean, spacious, and with a stunning view. The staff was incredibly friendly, and we truly enjoyed our stay 🩷 A special mention as well for the restaurant 👌🏻
We had amazing stay at this place. The polish receptionist was exceptional and made our stay truly memorable. I would recommend it to everyone
Roommhad good views and clean. Heating was more than adequate. Food was good too, but can be improved. Staff were helpful and friendly. My son forgot his passport and wallet in the room after we checked out, they kept it and they waited for us to comeback the next day.
On a windy and rainy day in Iceland, stepping into a cozy little house in the lake district is incredibly warm and comfortable. The rooms aren't big, but they're just the right amount of comfortable. Ideally located for trips around the local area. The service from staff was fantastic, they were very knowledgeable and happy to share information about the best things to do. The breakfast offerings was superb. Rooms were basic but clean.
Wonderful stay at Hotel Norourland! The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well presented, making it a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The rooms are cozy and quiet, and the overall atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Friendly staff and a great location add to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone traveling through this beautiful part of Iceland!
The location is easy to access nearby restaurants, supermarket and other places. The room is comfortable with a big window we can see snowing in late Oct 25.
Friendly staff. Convenient location. Walk to downtown in a few minutes. Very nice breakfast. No elevator if that is a concern for you.
Clean & centrally located.
Short walk to shops, restaurants, sites, and water tours.
Good breakfast choices of local foods & those internationally familiar.
Just a bit worn around the edges but clean and comfortable.
Knowledgeable and friendly staff who, as one can expect from all in Iceland.
Yes, I would stay there again.
Our double room was spacious and clean. It had a water kettle and complimenary tea in the room.
The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices: best buffet we had in 8 hotels in Iceland.

Nice place. In the middle of the town. easy to walk around and the stay is great.
Lovely place with a very nice restaurant and bar area. Convenient location for walking around the town. Beautiful views all around.
The room was spacious and immaculately clean with a lovely view of the fjord. Plenty of free parking was available. Internet worked well. Wonderful dinner and drinks in the modern restaurant, and the prices seemed reasonable for Iceland. Would 100% stay here again.
Dated hotel, some rooms seem to have received refurbishment however ours was very dated. Good breakfast, and good location.
Staff were amazing and a great help with everything polite and kind. Knowledgeable of area, helpful with restaurants.

good breakfast. good place for aurora
The hotel is clean and close to the waterfall as well as the Systravatn Viewpoint. We didn’t see the aurora during the night we stayed but we saw meteors which is also a very nice surprise. The staff of the hotel are helpful and friendly.
I saw the Northern Lights right outside the hotel, starting clearly at 8 PM! The hotel breakfast was excellent. Although the room wasn't huge, it was quite good for Iceland and very clean.
The facilities are clean. It was a comfortable stay for a family of three with a three-year-old.
There's a waterfall nearby and about three restaurants. The breakfast, while not extensive, is delicious, so I highly recommend it if the price is right.
This hotel is located conveniently, but the hotel itself was not as good as I expected. Especially there is no fridge in the room.
They initially arranged a room with two separate beds for us, but when we asked for a change, they quickly arranged another room. In that respect, I can say we were satisfied with the service.
Breakfast was generally good. As for its location, it's on the main road, so you can consider it depending on your plans.

What a beautiful hotel! Very well designed with attention to details (bravo to the interior designer!). The Hill was the least favourable location for us during our visit. Although the hotel itself is beautiful and very aesthetically pleasing - which I’m sure is probably part of its selling point to gain influencers that can take beautiful pictures there. But overall the stay was lacklustre.

We spent our New Year’s Eve here and it was amazing. The hotel is small but that’s the charming part of it: no big crowds, everything feels like home, including the outstanding staff!

I would an only recommend a refurbishment of the bathrooms (although they are functional, this hotel deserves a bit more...
The hotel is lovely and they'd decorated it with fairy lights for Christmas which was cute. However, the woman at reception (in charge?) was quite unwelcoming, which set the tone for the rest of the staff - curt and not a smile between them (with the exception of the lovely South American man). I'd also emailed a few days before with a question. Got a reply saying I'd soon get a reply from reception...

Overall: A generally sweet boutique hotel with excellent location. Glad that they had a room available for immediate check-in, given our long flight. This is a good boutique hotel with rooms that give a quality feel. Excellent shower and balcony that added to my stay after enjoying my adventures in Iceland, I knew I would come back to a warm and clean room. The Breakfast was a great way to start your day. The only tiny issue was a loud door closing in the corridor due to a heavy spring closure. Great staff.
Excellent hotel, great views, and attentive service.
I was looking for an affordable hotel in Iceland, where prices are high, and I ended up here. The room was so small that I had to sleep on the bed, but the bed and linens were comfortable enough to help me relax and recover from my fatigue.
2-night stay
The location is great and the downstairs bar is excellent. The breakfast is good but a bit hit and miss with some items. Coffee is excellent! The basic rooms are very small, so if with two suitcases gets cramped. Staff is lovely.
Good Spot
Clean room and property. The front desk was very helpful and patient with our many questions about the area.
The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the pier, and the staff are friendly. While there's no parking available, there are paid parking spaces opposite the hotel, and free parking is a 10-minute walk away, but ask the staff. Good thing is that we can use their restaurant microwave for ramen. So come here with all the food you can bring.
The room is a bit small, but that's the case for all hotels in Iceland. The surrounding environment is very good. You can hike on the hill in front of the hotel. There is a large lake behind the hotel. When the weather is good, you can see snow-capped mountains in the distance. The grass and birch forest on the side are very pleasing to the eye. There is also a hot spring pool facing the lake not far...

The staff was super friendly, even changing my room so I would have a better view in case the northern lights would make an appearance! I had to be up super early for a flight so in-room coffee makers would be my suggestion. Otherwise staff gave me a complimentary transfer back to the airport, what more could I ask for?!
The Keilir is a very nice family owned Hotel. It is clean, safe, has good heat and fist internet. The breakfast is simple but nice and food is fresh. I have stayed at just about every hotel in Keflavik and for my money Hotel Keilir is the best value. I've spent dozens of nights there and I always look forward to my stay.

Had to stay here for a second day after being delayed due to cancellations at the airport. This is a very nice hotel and is quite cheap, although you get what you pay for.
The rooms were extremely minimalistic, just the minimums that you need like a bed, table, TV, etc. The room and bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were also friendly.
The breakfast however was not amazing...
We stayed in the newer building. The bathrooms were nice but the linens and towels were dirty and had hair on them. The walls apparently are thin because the room next door to us kept banging on the wall telling us to be quiet. There was no elevator so we had to carry luggage up 3 flights. It's close to the hotel.
