The reception staff were very helpful and friendly, which made check-in smooth and welcoming. After a long day of driving, it was such a relief to lie down in the extremely comfortable beds, they were just what I needed. We booked this place for its convenience to the airport the next day. We arrived late, and there was no one at the front desk. We received an email with a password, and that's how we got into the room. The room was quite spacious. There's parking available nearby. The facilities are just average, though. I went here on a school trip an it’s a classic youth hostel. Rooms of 4 and the beds are nice but I have seen better. The shower does smell a bit like H2s which smells like rotten eggs but it’s unnoticeable. We loved our time here and we were a little sad to leave to go on other adventures! This is the perfect place to sit and read a book and watch the world go by. There's a nice kitchenette, very comfy beds, and a cozy interior. I would definitely stay here again if given the chance.

This was a wonderful place to stay! The owner was exceptional in taking care of our needs! It felt like we were staying with family—it was quiet—the bed could have been a little more comfortable—and it would be nice to have a place for suitcases—I would come back and highly recommend it!

The hotel is located in the center of the town. Very easy access to the hotel. Nearby there is a grocery store and the fantastic Valhalla restaurant. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy. Lovely hotel in the perfect location in downtown Reykjavik. Walkable to everything. The hotel was immaculate, the room was great and the heated towel rack in the bathroom was awesome! Bring your own conditioner if you use that because they only give you shampoo and you only get liquid bath gel so also bring soap if you like that instead. The cabin is well constructed and very clean. Spacious room with kitchen and a living room. Private bathroom, shower works great without any clogging. Comfortable but a little small beds. The bedding is of high quality cotton.

Pretty new hotel a short drive from Akureyri city. Rooms are very spacious and clean. There's a common kitchen, and laundry room. Hotel will only start to serve breakfast from 1 June. So during our stay, there's no meal served. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

This clean and tidy, newly renovated hotel is quite empty during the summer season. Since it’s a self-service hotel, there’s no service. However, there’s a 24/7 shared dining hall equipped with some utensils, cutlery, a fridge, and a microwave. There’s also a ski locker and a laundry machine and tumble dryer (both 24/7 and self-service), which are also free. One of our favourite hotels in Iceland.

Parking is convenient and clean. The room is relatively warm and easy to check in. The hotel will inform you of the password in advance, so you don't have to worry about not being able to find the front desk and not being able to check in even if you arrive late.

The rooms are located in separate buildings outside of the reception area, much like a villa-style business hotel. However, there are no elevators, only stairs, so you'll need to carry your luggage yourself.

We went to eat at the Green House Hotel food hall, which offers a wide variety of cuisines to suit all tastes. Afterwards, we stopped by their shops, where we were welcomed by Jorge, who also works at the hotel reception. We stayed one night at this hotel in a family apartment.It had 2 double beds and one twin which fit 5 of us perfectly.This is almost like a hostel the check in information was emailed a day before the which was convenient.Can’t comment on staff since we did not interact with anyone.Overall it’s an alright place to stay close to the airport.

I stayed here two nights prior to my flight to Spain. The hotel is very nice with very easy access to the Terminal building. The breakfast was very good and offering a variety of items to suit most tastes. My only criticism is the dinner menu is extremely pricy and limited. Overall a great stay clean and comfortable hotel which I would really recommend.

It’s an airport based hotel so no didn’t expect any frills especially for the price we paid. That said the room was very spacious, bed was clean and comfortable. It was a good one night stay for our journey North on our clockwise Route 1 journey. We did a late check-in close to 10pm and found the keys and a map (which could have been clearer) to find our room. We rented an amazing spacious 2 bedroom apartment at a reasonable price.

Easily one of the coolest hostels I've stayed at. For starters, you can have your own room without bunks like a regular hotel. Showers and bathrooms were well kept. The location was epic and staying in a former school was super unique. Definitely will be back!

We went from the Myvatn area to Straw Hat Mountain. We gave up the whale watching trip to Husavik, but the distance to Straw Hat Mountain was a bit long, so we chose this hotel as a transfer. It has a kitchen for cooking, a swimming pool and hot springs, and you can also barbecue!
