As a 17 year old spent a week at the resort, and this being my first time with Neilsons, this was one of the most enjoyable holidays I’ve been on, the whole place is designed with social and active aspects in mind, providing both me , my mate and our parents with numerous optional things to do each day, giving us the opportunity to relax or engage in activities depending on how much of a mood we’re...

This is our 4th Neilson activity holiday but first to Sardinia. After reading mixed reviews I was slightly apprehensive as we were travelling with first timers on a Neilson holiday. However I needn't have worried

as I said before the activities were top notch, and the people running them were all so friendly. my friend and I, including our parents had an incredible time and could not recommend the place enough

It was clean and functional - nobody stays long in their room, so the lack of space really doesn't make a difference. Big shout out to Will/Marcus/Nathaniel from the tennis team

As a whole the accommodation was good for me, food, brilliant, I think I ate 3 whole pizzas a day from the buffet, good for the soul but not so good for my massive biceps

Great staff Great location with a wonderful beach directly across the street. The warmth and helpfulness of the staff especially Emilia at reception was special and made the.Janus Hotel a memorable stay.

Hotel is a bit run down, the pool isn’t located in the property you have to walk into another hotel down the road!! Beach isn’t that nice, bed very uncomfortable and hard.

The pool in the adjoining property was a real bonus. It’s a tough walk up to the Castello and the old town in the heat. I should have spent more and got a room with a terrace looking at the Castello - they looked great

Great location, lovely view from the big balcony, good aircon, well located. Given the fact that sardinia is over all very very expensive we were also happy with the pricing

The partner hotel, hotel Riviera, is also very nice and guests of janus may use all the facilities there free of charge. Altogether very good stay, thank you!

The breakfast buffet in the morning was very nice and the hotel is located right across from the water and within walking distance to all the restaurants and the local harbor and the beach

The breakfast each morning was delicious and the location is perfect! Such a sweet little beach town, with terrific restaurants and boat rentals just steps away

Beautiful hotel, perfect location and wonderful staff

The breakfast buffet was amazing and I loved being able to eat across the street right by the water! The location was excellent and convenient to walk to many restaurants and shops and to the harbor for day cruises

Some negative aspects: The hot tub was on the balcony facing the street so there isn’t much privacy, therefore we only used it once. We did not like the bed because it was very firm

They couldn't have been more helpful and thoughtful. We used the hotel as our base to travel to La Pelosa and Alghero. San Pietro Beach is highly recommended and is only five minutes away by car

The location is stunning in a little village very close to the beaches and sea but easily accessed thanks to a free hotel shuttle bus

I can not praise this hotel enough. The location, the hotel, the food and the staff are all superb. We have had an amazing 2 weeks here, and have been made to feel as if we were staying with our family not a hotel guest

We had a relaxing stay at Abbaidda Hotel in August. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel on our first evening and it was superb. Every dish was full of flavour

Salvatore and his wife are lovely as is Tomas and his wife and everyone else. We felt like we were staying with our family and not staying at a hotel which is the best compliment I can give tbh

The garden and pool look out over the sea and mountains which is an awesome view but also so peaceful. The hotel has a lovely garden with grass football pitch, volley ball, table tennis etc

Staff were friendly and very helpful, booking us restaurants for the two nights we stayed there. The town was lovely and we enjoyed exploring. In summary, a lovely place to stay and very relaxing

Lovely family run hotel in the centre. Our room was very quiet and very clean, as was the whole hotel. Buffet beakfast had a good selection and included homemade cakes too

Very nice hotel situated in the centre of the city, close to the beach and many restaurants. Rooms are relatively small, but well equiped

Charming family-run hotel, excellent location in Calasetta! Felt welcome and taken care of from the beginning. Room was impeccably clean and the AC made all the difference for sleeping in the summer

Charming Hotel in a centre of Calasetta, close to many restaurants and just few metres from the port. Staff are super friendly and kindly, it's like feel at home. Top!!!

) It is perfectly aligned so that the balcony is in sunlight in the morning and then the pool area catches the sun in the afternoon. The main thing to note is that the hotel is spotlessly clean

The rooms, corridors, balconies and pool area are cleaned daily. The reception area is bright and cheerful, and once checked-in there is a side gate which can be used for easy access

My wife and I wanted a quiet holiday, a comfortable environment, sunshine, good food, and a hotel swimming pool. We found all that and more in Hotel Daniel

Good hotel with pool. Short drive to Nice beaches, san Teodoro and Oblia.

The room was bright, clean, comfortable and quiet (not sure what the noise levels might be like when the hotel is fully occupied)

Some water provided but can buy big bottles at bar for €3-4 Beach is across the road but this part is rocky - go to La Pelosa (book online) or L'Approdo (has free part, kayaks and nice bar) instead

Second year in a row staying in Roccaruja Club Esse. Excellent family experience, a real plus is being directly on the beach

Great stay overall, staff are great, food is brilliant, downstairs bar and restaurant area are modern, location is awesome. Can rent an ebike using an app, pool looks nice, can hike to Torre de Capo Falcone

Awesome kids entertainment staff, tidiness and order both in the rooms and in the common areas. 5-star food service: variety and tastiness of the menus, plenty of to choose from

The evening/night shows were delightful and funny, and the entertainment staff always polite and not disturbing. Two families groups, with 2 children and 2 teens

The territory of the hotel is very well-maintained, there is a lawn and sand, for every taste. Stylish sun beds, free entertainment on the water

This place was perfect for us and what we needed. The rooms are spacious, airy, fresh, and clean. A little beach space next to a forested area. Breakfast included, with eggs

We were worried that it would be too quiet but the kids joined in the beach / sea activities, used the pools, played tennis etc so there was enough to do

Seems like some tour groups lodge here, and they seem to be enjoying. Simple place with convenient location. Could hear guests next door through the walls but it didn’t matter

We didn’t spend much time here with kiteboarding and visiting other locations on island

We were in this village in June 2025, all in all the holiday went well but there is something to improve: 1) when we arrived we had a lot of luggage and I would have expected at least a trolley to carry the suitcases 2) there are no rubbish bins especially in the pool, but also bins outside the structure, in short throwing away the rubbish is really a feat

3) the mini club would have been convenient if they had taken even slightly smaller children, at least I speak for myself having a child who in 15 days will be 3 years old and doesn't even have diapers, but unfortunately they didn't let me leave it

Only a 1min walk to a beautiful beach. The hotel was very clean and and staff was really nice! There are a handful of walkable restaurants, but having a car gives a lot more flexibility

And it was great that there was hotel parking

Only a 30 second walk to the beach out the back of the hotel and what a beautiful beach it is. Crystal clear water lovely sandy white beach and a fantastic little beach bar on the beach

Did not read my book as was staring out to see 🤩. We had the most relaxing 4 day break here which was so needed. It’s only a 20 minute commute from the airport and so quiet and relaxing

There are a few restaurants within walking distance

The room was clean and basic, no tea or coffee was available nor water in the room if you arrived on a late flight

The hotel has a good location, but since the beach is right next to a shipyard, you don’t really feel like swimming there — especially considering that Sardinia has hundreds of stunning beaches

However, instead of face towels they provided cloths, which wasn’t very nice — after washing your face in the morning, you really expect a proper towel

The air conditioning only cools, so if you’re visiting in autumn, make sure to bring warm pajamas as the nights can get chilly. As for breakfast, don’t expect too much. There was only one type of cheese

If you’re vegetarian or don’t eat pork, your only real option will be coffee and a croissant. Since cleanliness of the room is our top priority, we can still say we were satisfied overall

The staff are friendly, but only a few speak English. The rooms are very clean, which was the part we appreciated the most

Pool/beach towel available to rent for 5 euros (per 2 I think) and due to limitation might not be changed everyday

4 nights stay, junior Suite. Nice place, quiet and close to the beach. Parking is free and in a closed space. Dog friendly hotel and staff.

They extended the breakfast for us, because I’m not a morning person and they even removed the spikes of a sea urchin in my and my daughters feet and provided all necessary cremes that I didn’t had to worry where to get it

Even if the rooms are next to each other we didn’t hear the neighbors once! Our daughter was in good hands by the family members who were watching in case that we needed to get ready and in a rush

Even the juice glasses for breakfast have a normal size and not the miniature size what I really appreciate. We will definitely come back again

Fabulous & relaxing stay for us at Su Giganti This is a very beautiful small hotel located only minutes from a lovely beach (walk) and multiple eateries (both walk + short drive)

Fantastic location, lovely pool and gardens, good restaurants and beach service. Receptionists were super attentive and offered lots of recommendations which we appreciated

The good: the front desk, restaurant and cleaning staff were great, helpful and friendly. Nice grounds, nice pool, patio from the room was nice. The beach area was also very good and not far

We hired a car from the airport, and drove to the hotel. Both the hotel and restaurant are brilliant. A short taxi journey into town is a must and it’s extremely peaceful at the hotel

We had a great stay at Fiore Di Maggio. Breakfast above expectation! Nice swimming pool (amazing deep part for diving instructions!), perfect location next to a semi-private beach

The food in the restaurant is excellent (I had the nicest orata I've ever tasted) and the prices are very reasonable. The location right next to the beach is also a big plus

We have been there in the restaurant only and enjoyed it a lot, trying Sardinian Porceddu and local fish dishes. Amazing! Everything was excellently cooked, very friendly service

And also really good food in the half-board menu. I think this hotel offers best value for money in the neighbourhood (with a lot of high end hotels next door for sure)

There was a really nice atmosphere here thanks to the amazing staff and the very attentive owner who made us feel very welcome

On the bright side, the reception staff were great—very friendly and helpful. They offer beach towels for €2, though I only found out when I asked, so it would be nice if this was mentioned at check-in

Very close to the beach, nice little outdoor space and surprisingly quiet considering it's right by the road. Parking was easy in October but might be a bit tight in August

It was great, basic room near the beach with a small patio. Be aware of the reception hours… you cannot check in or out if they are not open.

The beach is just a 3-minute walk from the hotel, which is definitely one of the highlights. It's a beautiful spot, but very windy, so I recommend renting a beach bed for comfort

Hotel gives customers the bare minimum. There was a time where my food tasted mouldy. The rooms are tiny and towels aren't changed unless left on the floor. Only one socket in the wall for chargers etc

Although, you didnt really need to ever leave Club Esse; The rooms were comfortable, plenty of little nooks accross the complex to sit and relax in, the beach nearby (literally next to the hotel) is perfect for sunbathing and snorkelling and there are drinks and food available on site

The food was varied and delicious and I strongly reccomend the selection of Sardinian red wine! (Also fondly remembered are Selena always with a lovely smile, Nirvana fan and his tray-spinning excellence and soon-to-be-Dad from Nigeria)

Carla and Giuseppe the restaurant staff were awesome. They spoke English very well and there was nothing they couldn't do. The boss should be proud of them. They were very nice and friendly. Thank you very much

He made every effort to include us in the fun with a variety of events which catered for all ages. We believe his events programme encouraged and inspired our boys to be more socially confident and outgoing

His team were similarly dedicated and I particularly enjoyed the 'Aqua Gym' sessions which were both effectively and gracefully delivered despite the language barrier between us

Classic well kept resort with everything conveniently available with not too much mark up. It is the full Italian experience with mostly Italians on holiday. A lovely experience in a lovely location!

Great stay Very nice relaxing stay. The staff were very helpful and always tried their best to communicate in English. There grounds are very big and lovely to walk around

Pool: Guests must wear swimming caps, and the pool closes from 1 to 2 PM for no clear reason. Sunbeds: You must pay for sunbeds and towels despite the private beach, costing around 200 euros for a week

Payment System: The bizarre cash cards can only be used in some areas, creating chaos. Hotel Animation: The loud entertainment made it impossible to relax at the beach

Smoking: Smoking is allowed everywhere, including on the beach, which is inappropriate for a family hotel. Toiletries: We received ineffective tablets instead of standard shower gel and shampoo

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The beach shuttle was amazing, and the beach itself too. The pools are wonderful and the entertainment is great. The staff are super friendly and helpful

They also don’t seem to vacuum the floor which became really annoying as we had been to the beach and the sand built up and was in the bed and all over the floor

The highlight was definitely the beach — a stunning stretch of coastline, and truly one of the finest beaches I’ve seen in Europe. A beautiful setting and a memorable experience overall

This is an absolutely magical place, the ideal choice if you need to recharge your batteries while enjoying fantastic service. All staff are wonderful and attentive, and the food is delightful

One of the finest Hilton's I've ever been to. If you are looking for a beautiful modern resort in Sardinia this place is a must. The hotel is nestled among a nature reserve with flamingos and two beaches

We had a wonderful stay in a villa that came with a separate bedroom and a comfortable lounge area, which made it feel spacious and relaxing

Housekeeping was frequent and thoughtful, which is very suitable for a beach holiday when you shower several times a day. Turn-down service was a nice touch. Luggage staff and other attendants were consistently attentive

At Monte Cogoli beach, the coach (possibly Alicia) provided daily stretching and aqua gym sessions, which were fun, professional, and really enhanced the experience

The grand kids loved it and had the time of their lives swimming and playing at the beach and the selection of pools, biking, choosing from the vast selection of food and the grown ups chilled and enjoyed the fabulous facilities at Hotel Castello

This place is AMAZING! It is absolutely perfect! We were so looked after by the staff - they are so friendly and they made our stay amazing. They were absolutely wonderful with our 2 children (age 3 & age 8)

A number of areas could be improved however location, beach and setting are very good and there are numerous facilities for the kids if bringing them, but you’ll have to pay even more to use them!

Restaurant choice incredible, lovely pools and sea is beautifully warm and calm. Would like a more reasonable price point for many of the activities; be prepared to spend some money as this place is expensive!

Positives: we were given 80 euros at the bar. It was half board plus, so breakfast and dinner. Closest town was 1 mile for shops etc. The beach was about 400 metres. 10 euros if you want a sunbed

Likewise breakfast was full of choices Florin, our waiter, was a mine of useful information about beaches, sightseeing also great around the restaurant

The beach was wonderful, small, clean, safe, snorkelling was great, much better than other more expensive, ‘sought after’ beaches

LOCATION - Beutiful location but we struggled being so far out with young children, getting them to walk anywhere is a challenge, Its about 20 min walk into Cannigione and you can double that with little legs in tow and in the heat! we decided to hire a car for a few days to make life easier and to allow us to explore a bit more
