Decent breakfast to help start off the day. But room door sound proofing is not good so you can hear your neighbor opening their door. No lift which may be a bit troublesome but the counter staff helped with the luggage

Hotel lombardia was our favorite stay throughout our week in Italy. It is located in a great central area. The staff were kind and helpful as needed. The room was clean and comfortable

This is the best stay I had during my recent trip to Italy. We got a room right next to the dining room, so it's very convenient for breakfast time. The staff is very friendly and helpful

We loved the charm of the building and breakfast was great!

The location of the hotel was excellent. If you have mobility issues this is mot the hotel for you as there is no lift. Our room was on the 3rd floor. There are alot of steps to navigate

We arrived after the reception was closed. Excellent instructions on how to enter the property. Our keys were where they said they would be. The room was dated and required maintenance

The room was big and the bathroom is big too which is a very good thing to be, the location is very good about 15 minutes with the bus to city center, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel, there is a few free street parking slots and there is a paid parking about 6 minutes walking

The public transport (Bus) exactly on front of this place and 20 min from the city centre, so it is very convenient. Place is clean and comfortable, breakfast, good mattresses, and quit and secure area

Mr Marcio has been an excellent host and very supportive. No doubts to include this place on my next trip to Firenze

It was about a 10-minute walk from the station. The Duomo and museums were within walking distance, and the central market was directly behind it, making it a great location for sightseeing

They upgraded me to a room with a great view. The room was clean, and the breakfast was delicious. I'm sure I'll choose this hotel again the next time I visit Florence

The owners are incredibly lovely, welcoming and most of all great with their communication. The apartment we stayed in (Deluxe room) is wonderful (quiet, cool, beautiful and spacious)

Best of the best hotels during our stay in Italy. At first, we sent an email to the hotel before the trip, informing them of our honeymoon stay in Firenze, but got no reply

Very convenient location but might not suitable for those who like quietness. However, despite the fuss the hotel is well-designed, very clean, helpful staff, adequate amenities and good breakfast!

But how they treated us has proved that they had been aware. We got very very well taken care of. The room was good, and the breakfast was fabulous. The stuff there were all professional and kind

The location is fantastic, very close to the train station. I chose a room with a terrace, and it had a separate small door, making it super quiet and secure.

Breakfast was typical for a hotel: yogurt, baked goods, coffee, etc. and was fine for a quick breakfast before heading out

I like firm beds so this didn’t bother me but I could see where some might want more plush bedding. Location really can’t be beat. No elevator so you have to up stairs, and no 24 desk, use code after hours

My room was quiet except someone stomped around once above me, but only had that happen once for 5 minutes or so. I didn’t think there were floors above but there may be apartments above the hotel

Being 2 star, the furnishings are basic, but I’m not lounging around the hotel room when I’m traveling, I’m out and about. The bed was a foam mattress I believe and rather firm

The furniture was a little bit old but it wasn't an issue for me. The room was cool enough even during the summer time, never turned on the AC. Interestingly, the room had a very different layout

Staff friendly and helpful. Room is big and renovated. Bathroom is renovated. I had private bathroom. Wifi free, nice breakfast. Again staff friendly.

Located just a 10-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella train station, this accommodation is also near the vibrant Mercato Centrale

starting with the lovely Eva, who gave us tips on how to get around Florence! The breakfast was excellent, plentiful, and varied! The rooms were cozy and had everything you need to make you feel at home

The blackout shutters were FANTASTIC! With them closed, my friend and I did not know if it was day or night. :) There’s a great lil coffee bar right next door that kept me sufficiently hydrated and caffeinated

Serena was extremely helpful! It’s conveniently located between 2 tram stops & you can take the tram from the airport for less than 2€! This place is about a mile walk from the Duomo, which is great for me but something to consider

First, it was chilly in mid-October, even though we had the air conditioner on heating mode. There were no slippers, and the floor was icy, especially in the bathroom, where the heating didn't seem to reach

Third, the closet creaked with every movement, and the headboard and light fixtures were covered in dust, as if they hadn't been cleaned in a long time

Contacts with anyone from the reception are only by phone, WhatsApp. Before checking in, they asked to send photos of passports and a voucher. A quiet room with a good bed, a large TV, a hairdryer in the bathroom

The facility is beautiful with signs of being an old world inn. The brick, stucco and lovely flower beds have great visual appeal! The staff has fairly good English skills. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the bar

Excellent apartments near the train station. 30 minutes walk to the Duomo Enter the hotel using the code on the front door, the keys are already waiting for you

The building where this B&B is located is absolutely stunning, the location is amazing, walkable distance to the train station, city center and many other places. The communication with Maria made the stay even better

The location is excellent, really can’t be beat. But the rooms are very loud making it hard to sleep. Our room was above a cafe that has techno music playing until late

The rooms are unique and have a nice kitchenette but the bathrooms are very small (only one person) and the shower had some mold

Otherwise rooms are nice too with two bathrooms being the highlight. Very convenient location and the property helps with parking. The parking guys are very responsive and friendly too. Definitely recommend this place

Room was fantastic! They without me knowing upgraded me to a beautiful room with a view after I had a horrible travel day which was so kind. It had an incredible view of the plaza. I would 100% come back here again

Somehow the restaurant called the owners who got it fixed by the provider. Was sorted in 2-3 hrs but we had to worry and find places to hang out and be warm while the issue was ongoing

Our only solution was to leave the window open in the bathroom (furthest away from us) and close the one directly near the bed. Thankfully, we are both good sleepers, so it wasn't too much of a bother at the end the day

We were informed that until the weather got hotter, the only option was to open the window. Which was fine during the day, but at night, the noise on the streets were incredibly loud and not ideal

The room is spacious (compared to our other Paris hotel) with high ceilings and a large king size bed. Staff were also amazing, they were all very friendly, professional and helpful

Another hiccup encountered was that during our check-in, we were told directly that breakfast was included in our package

Housekeeping also did a wonderful job daily

In hindsight, I should have double checked my reservation (instead of accepting it) as there was a surprise bill during check-out as we were told us in error

A beautiful comfortable hotel with excellent service. Safe parking for our classic car. Easy walking to the favourite sites in Florence. We were only there one night 1st May 2019 but memorable

Fourth, the lobby was nice for a late night drink and they were fine with us bringing our own wine and giving us snacks and glasses with no charge. So if you do not mind a very noisy hotel it may be good for you

Second, they recommended very good places to eat that we're not tourist traps. Third, the rooms were huge as were the restrooms

We stayed three nights and the hotel has good and not so good points. The negative points are as follows

The staff were friendly and answered many questions without us feeling we were an annoyance, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful which we used to have in the lovely courtyard with the resident pigeon for company

It is in a great location, on a quiet street but within two minutes walking we were in a busy place, we were able to enjoy our sightseeing without ever being too far from the hotel

Perfect stay in Florence We absolutely loved our stay at Relais Luce! The location is a short walk from the SMN train station, but also walkable to most of the sights in Florence

Started off in a room with a tiny shower, smaller than a cruise shower. Spoke to the staff and upgrade to a different room which was amazing. The staff was very helpful and always happy to great you

The breakfast was a little expensive. I ordered the French toast that came with ham and cheese. What came out was a grilled cheese sandwich, lol??

It is advertised as free luggage storage however, our luggage was placed behind the receptionist counter with no receptionist just the cleaner who was watching it during the time of checkout to when we had left, which was about 3 to 4 hours

There was black mold on the ceiling of the shower and the shower did not drain well as you were standing in buildup of 2 to 3 inches of water at the base, the room itself was extremely clean and very spacious, especially for a room in the city; very walkable to shops and restaurants nearby

Camilla was extremely helpful and made our stay very enjoyable (Nicolas very nice too, provided me with some ice for an ice pack when my knee was acting up, and I think he was the one responsible for all the wonderful fruit on the yogurt and muesli)

The hotel staff were welcoming and so accommodating, a big shout out to Nicola and Satya, they were so helpful! All the places we ate at were recommended and were superb 👌🏻 the room was amazing, enjoyed the spa bath after walking around Florence

On two days of our visit, we had to leave before breakfast was available and they made us a breakfast tray the night before so we could still have something to eat. They even included sandwiches on our day trip to Venice

Nothing super close, but we stayed here to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Didn’t need to leave the property as the restaurant was excellent!

Nothing special but good value for your money

Although the elevator was small, the rooms were spacious! It's close to all the attractions, within walking distance of the Notre-Dame de la Défense train station! It's very convenient to rest at the hotel after sightseeing before heading out again!

It’s better than my expectation! Perhaps due to the off-season, the room I was assigned was quite spacious, and the air conditioning in the room worked very well for heating

This place is very conveniently located with a tram stop at the end of the street, and you can download the local tram app “at bus” and buy €1. Super user friendly and takes you right to the heart of town

We had a lovely 2 night stay here. The staff were so helpful and the hotel was beautiful. For it to have been open for 4 years it looked brand new

It was a 15 min tram journey to the train station, with the tram lines outside of the hotel. Then a short walk to the duomo with plenty of stops along the way

Flor in Florence was an absolute gem! Brand new, beautifully furnished, clean, quiet, comfortable. Leandro was wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was simple but good

Great location…about 10 blocks from the Duomo. This hotel is a very nice B&B. Breakfast was nice and served exactly when we asked for it. The small elevator to the 4th floor was easy to figure out how to use

I only wish there had been a small fridge and coffee service in the room, and it would be nice if they made arrangement with a laundromat or dry cleaner nearby for laundry services
