Friendly and helpful receptions guys, very welcoming, the room is clean! Especially the bathroom, very comfortable staying with good location (near metro)
The security system in the hotel is good and rather peaceful. Staff are excellent with good knowledge of The city of Florence. The Duomo (see Pic) is about 10mins walk from the hotel
For instance, just outside the hotel, less than a min walk, a Chinese no frills restaurant provides a good Asian spread of Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese Ramen and fusion at competitive prices
Pros: Good location. Clean. Near the train station.
Cons: do not expect a big room.
Hotel staffs was friendly. Very good location
I think some of the visitors may be concerned of the hole due to someone may possibly put cameras in it. Overall, the room is quite good
Florence, Via Giovanni Sgambati, 28, 50127 Florentsiya, Toskana, Italiya (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It’s walking distance from Tram (Guidoni) 10-15mins ride to reach the Santa Maria Novella Train Station. We had slight problem with the check-in and to obtain the digital key but it was quickly resolved by the staff
The hotel staffs are friendly, efficient n helpful. It is located close to the tram, the room is also very clean
Stayed a night here before an early flight home. Excellent location, 5 minutes ftom the airport. Room very good, had everything we needed
The guy who did everything was superb and the meal we had was so good - lovely outdoor area to eat our meal in. Shuttle to airport (15 euro per room) also available
A fabulous find! We needed a place near the airport to rest for a few hours before our journey home
Our room was available early and was just as expected, with a nice deck from our room as well as an open patio from the main floor. We have a shuttle available at 4:15am to take us to the airport
The breakfast on the terrace was included in our room rate and was really good - eggs made to order (including delicious omelets), many fruits and pastries, and even smoked salmon and more traditional European breakfast foods
I would say the variety and quality of breakfast items made it an excellent start to each day. For us Americanos the shower in the bedroom wasn’t ideal but, when in Florence…
All the major attractions are within 5-10min walk and hotel staff gave us valuable suggestions on where to eat. Rooms were great too with comfortable beds and coffee maker
Larger rooms than our hotel in Sorrento, which was great! Location was also great, near the Arno River and only about a 20 minute walk to most of the things we wanted to experience
I went there in 2010, before that renovation and I like it. Comfy, near by every interesting places, and a good service. Now, I believe, it's better!
The staff was very helpful and welcoming, and their English was pretty good across the board
Florence, Vicolo Marzio, 1 Piazza del Pesce (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Service was great!! Especially at the front desk counter and the waitresses at the rooftop restaurant. Food was one of the best we had in Florence
We were lucky we did not have to make a reservation and it was our first meal in Florence right after checking in. Our room was unexpectedly ready by 4 hours earlier
The rest of the hotel seems to make up for all of this. Firstly, probably the best located hotel in Florence, mere steps away from the Ponte Vecchio one of the main touristy areas
HOWEVER, try to avoid staying at the 4th floor or room 415? It sounded like a war zone every night from the moving tables or chairs (sounded like chess war but human like statues zzz) and it’s always from 7pm - 11pm
I wasn't sure if the room smelled dusty or moldy.
The location is good though.
It's difficult because the building is old.
The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are tidy, and the service attitude is very good
Florence, Via Dei Cerretani 1 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The room we stayed was excellent and comfortable. And all of this, in a very good price
Our room was nice, comfortable, clean and turned over daily. The breakfeast provided by the hotel was good. Check in/check out was very easy and the hotel staff were fantastic
Upon alerting the staff, someone stood outside and waited for my arrival, running the laptop out to the taxi. It is this type of service that truly goes above and beyond. We surely hope to be back to Hotel Perseo!
The breakfast was delicious and the staff did a great job of keeping all selections refilled and the area clean. Our group was able to hang out, order drinks and talk about the day
Hotel Perseo was our first stop on our Italian vacation. The location was perfect in the center of Florence. All of the staff were friendly and accessible
The hotel is perfectly located. The service is amazing and they answer so quickly for special requests. I definitely recommend. Thank you very much ! :)

The garden was great, with plenty of space to lounge by the pool in either sun or shade under the trees. Our family room was comfortable and a decent size for four of us
There’s parking available, though it’s a bit of a squeeze! The location was fantastic — about a 20-minute walk down the hill to the Ponte Vecchio (coming back up the hill was another matter, it's quite steep!)
They also did lunch and dinner — just lighter things like salads and snacks since there wasn’t a chef at the time — but it was still nice to have the option
The bus stop is located right outside the hotel and 2 of the main lines serve this area so they are frequent. The area is quiet which suited us for our stay. The hotel was immaculately clean throughout
We stayed here as a family of four and loved it. The hotel itself is full of character and charm, and the staff were super helpful throughout our stay
The room was very comfortable and the pool area very peaceful - we loved coming here to wind down after exploring all day!
I could not recommend this hotel more!!!
The hotel was overall very nice and we had a pleasant stay. The location is excellent — within walking distance of the train station and very close to the city center and major attractions, including Florence Cathedral
We booked a room for two weeks for September 2025 online on the Hotel Porta Faenza website and we got a great room on the top floor as requested. The proprietors were very helpful and our requests by mail were all met
Also, the bathroom window did not provide enough privacy, as it was visible from the upper floors due to the thin curtain. Improving this would make the stay even better. thank you hope to see you again :)
The staff, the room, the breakfast: every aspect of my stay felt like I was being taken care of, and yet the cost of the accommodation was very affordable, like a step back in time to a less greedy era
The breakfast we booked was more than sufficient and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was easy getting around Florence and other neighboring towns by foot, tram or by train from this hotel
The breakfast was satisfying, with fruits, yogurt, a variety of desserts, and cold cuts. The staff were kind and helpful. The only area for improvement was the room layout
Florence, Via Porta Rossa, 5, 50123 Florentsiya, Toskana, Italiya (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We had the best experience at Hotel Davanzati! The location is excellent with access to the railway station and many fabulous places of interest
The breakfast was yummy with a good selection. All in all the hotel was great and we had a lovely time
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was fantastic. The room was clean and well set yp. The location was amazing. The rate was very reasonable. We woukd definitely stay there again.
We had an excellent stay. Everything from checking in to checking out was top-notch. This was a great location and all the sites were walkable. Would definitely stay here again.
It had its own private balcony. The room was charming and gave a lovely Florence feel. Staff were wonderful, especially Leonardo. They were friendly and welcoming
We got to check in an hour earlier than expected, which was a wonderful surprise. Leonardo also held our bags for us as it was raining and we had several hours before our train departure
On the last night of our stay the A/C unit started making popping noises and woke us up. Shower was tiny but overall good. Breakfast staff were very good. Continental breakfast was excellent with many options
The room and the bathrom were imaculate. The breakfast is better than in most hotels, even in more expensive one. The place is not fancy but surely the best cost beneft you can find in Firenze
Perfect hotel expect one thing. Employee were very kind, hotel location is good to go tourist attraction. But one bad thing is bathroom condition
Excellent room, clean, quiet and very comfortable and spacious. Bed was immensely comfortable. I was passing through the one night but would stay again. The staff were exceptionally courteous
Location was excellent! Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was great and rooms very comfortable. Definitely will stay here again.
Location was average but security good. Front gate difficult to open and close. We unfortunately did not get a chance to enjoy the rooftop bar
Florence, Via Nazionale 22/A (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Excellent location and very helpful staff who all speak English which was helpful to us. The fact the hotel has an elevator is welcome. The breakfast is good and plentiful
The room was clean, the bathroom as well, nothing to complain. Breakfast was italian like, so a lot of sweet things. Don’t expect a typical continental breakfast. Coffee from the machine was very good
This hotel is in an excellent location. Close to sights, train station, tourist meeting points, local markets, city squares, cafes, restaurants etc. Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming
Reception was able to book tours. There is a lift that services all floors. Breakfast has a good selection for a continental breakfast including fresh espresso coffee
Great experience! Prime rooms, recently renovated bathroom. Great service provide by the wonderful Federica at reception! Overall made our stay in Florence safe and comfortable :) 5/5 stars from me.
Very small front desk, but friendly personnel (especially the asian guy) we were happy to get our room already in the morning. The view out of the room was to a backyard. The advantage was the quietness in the night
Florence, Via Vacchereccia 3 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The location is excellent, really can’t be beat. But the rooms are very loud making it hard to sleep. Our room was above a cafe that has techno music playing until late
The rooms are unique and have a nice kitchenette but the bathrooms are very small (only one person) and the shower had some mold
Excellent location, right in the tourist area, convenient for getting around. Supermarkets are within 10 minutes, making it easy to buy water. Train Station is 15 minutes away. Friendly and welcoming front desk staff
Otherwise rooms are nice too with two bathrooms being the highlight. Very convenient location and the property helps with parking. The parking guys are very responsive and friendly too. Definitely recommend this place
Room was fantastic! They without me knowing upgraded me to a beautiful room with a view after I had a horrible travel day which was so kind. It had an incredible view of the plaza. I would 100% come back here again
Somehow the restaurant called the owners who got it fixed by the provider. Was sorted in 2-3 hrs but we had to worry and find places to hang out and be warm while the issue was ongoing
Florence, Largo F.lli Alinari, 15 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
All the side is a small carrefour and our favorite Alinani Cafe, Don Nino. Overall, nice room, good location with food and sight seeing with walking distance
The breakfast was excellent and had a great variety. Although the room size was average, it was very warm and had everything we needed.
Room is clean. Ample amenities includes sandal n toothbrush. Very near the main train station and walking distance to major attractions. Nearby a few good hand made leather shop
3m walk to train station, near to popular restaurants, 24h reception, elevator to hotel and clean. I think the hotel did a renovation so the cabinets, tables and all look new
Nice and clean hotel and is near to Florence Santa Marie Train station. Need to tale lift shared by 3 hotels. Love the nearby food and supermarket beside Macdonald
You get what you pay for, though – the soundproofing is terrible; you can hear every door opening and closing in the next room
Pretty Nice place, I found quietness.
The hotel is very clean, great hospitality, didn’t find any problem connecting to the WiFi. I will recommend you & for sure will come back later. Thanks
I only stayed one night, but I was immediately and pleasantly impressed by the friendliness of the staff at the front desk. I found the room comfortable and very clean.
This hotel boasts an excellent location, right by the train station, making it super convenient for day trips to nearby towns. The breakfast was also quite good
The location was excellent, close to Florence Central Station. The staff were friendly and we had a great stay in Florence.
Good location, large comfortable bed. Room was basic but had everything you need. Slight downside is the noise in the street outside
The room itself is one of the largest we've encountered in European hotels, easily accommodating our family of three with its double and single bed setup
Florence, Via dei Lamberti, 5 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The atmosphere is very warm. The infrastructure is very interesting. The attention of staff excellent. Their wifi service is very good. Its location allows easy scrolling through the beautiful Florence.
It is a very nice hotel with good size, clean rooms, helpful & polite staff and great breakfast. But what makes it uncompetable is its perfect location. They also help for parking place
Modern rooms with good AC. Nice hotel with a good price quality ratio. Also the location is perfect.
Older hotel that is well situated in downtown Florence with walkable destinations. It is a bit difficult to find, but good place. The rooms were very spacious and the bed comfortable
The service is great, both Italian and English! They stored my suitcase for me in between stays. Breakfast is also great, maybe best cappuccino I’ve had in Florence
Rooms are small but overall fine, we didn’t really spend much time in there, more just a place to sleep while we explored Florence. Breakfast was good, typical European hotel breakfast
Florence, Via dei Fossi, 27, 50123 Florentsiya, Toskana, Italiya (in the centre) 🧭 Map
It was very dark (one window overlooked a narrow, dark street) and cold: the heating system in the room was broken, and they later gave us a fan heater, which was terribly noisy and dried out the air in the room, drying out my skin and nose, and causing a constant sore throat
I recommend skipping the hotel breakfast and choosing the cafes around the area – the prices are affordable, and the food in the coffee shops in the area is delicious. What was great was the daily cleaning of the room
We asked to change our room when we arrived, and they showed us another one on the floor above, but it was even worse, so we had to stay in this one. The Wi-Fi in the room worked very poorly and very rarely
We were all in our own rooms!
The breakfasts were monotonous (literally the same every day) and meager. You won't leave hungry; a boiled egg, a tasteless sausage, and a tiny croissant won't let you faint
It was dirty from age and lack of maintenance, heavily used, and dilapidated. The closet opposite our bed had no doors or even curtains. Nothing had been done to provide even the slightest comfort
It was so audible that if a neighbor was talking to another person behind the wall of our room or upstairs, you could hear every word and intonation
The hotel is very nice and very close to the Duomo and the tourist area; you can walk around safely. The room was excellent and the bathroom was clean. There are stairs to go up to enter.
Excellent service and great staff. Clean and nicely situated
Simple hotel but clean with a great location and the owner was very helpful! I had a dental emergency and he got me the help I needed
The hotel should be newly renovated and very clean. The reception and staff are very nice☺️It is also very close to the attractions!
Loved everything from this hotel!! Stayed 2 nights and it was perfect, comfortable, safe, walkable to all historic monuments!
Super cute, great location, and the staff truly went above and beyond to help me -- thank you guys so much!!
The hotel’s rooftop is another highlight, offering a stunning 180-degree panoramic view of the city. The location is excellent and makes exploring Florence incredibly convenient
When we explained that we had not made this up, they eventually sent someone up with us to check. True enough, he noticed the smell as well. In the end, nothing was done, and we were simply told to open the room window
We wish the hotel had handled the situation more professionally and at least offered an apology. Overall, we still loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence
The room itself was comfortably spacious for two people with luggage, which is always a plus. The bathroom is on the smaller side, but that’s understandable and didn’t bother us too much
In freezing weather - day and night? Thankfully, when we returned to the room later in the evening, the smell was gone. However, this incident left a bad taste in our mouths
The only minor downside is that the bathroom entrance is located right next to the bed, which may feel a bit icky for some guests
I loved the high ceilings; they're great. It's clean, the location is good, everything's great. However, the bar was closed on Sunday... my welcome drink...
This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in Rome. The location is super convenient, and the triple room we booked was quite spacious. The breakfast was good too.
Excellent! The room was very spacious, and the TV was a Samsung 7-series, which allowed us to watch Netflix.
Beautiful scenery, very comfortable stay. From my window, I could see European-style gardens and a clock tower, and in the morning, I'd hear the chimes – a truly peaceful and cozy feeling. Breakfast was plentiful too.
The staff truly made the difference — everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. The location is perfect: conveniently situated and easy to reach, yet calm and pleasant
When we arrived in Florence from Milan, we booked and Uber and our driver told us that he loved the place as he was a part time driver for their service
Florence, Vicolo Dell Oro 6r (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Couldn't really fault the service or room. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and location was as good as you could get. Recommendations were in line with those that my well travelled italian friends had suggested
Excellent location and services. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Single room, but the bathroom is spacious enough; the service is thoughtful; the most outstanding thing is the excellent location! If you are tired of shopping, you can stroll back to the room for ten minutes after lunch to rest for a while and continue shopping in the afternoon
Clean and tidy. The service attitude is very good. The front desk is enthusiastic. I will come again next time.
Very good location, clean rooms, very few breakfast options
This hotel is an excellent place to stay. The staff was extremely kind and professional, the room very tidy and the location just great
