Also, we utilised the pool which was refreshing and in excellent condition and the massage was possibly the best ever experienced! The only drawback I hesitate to add is that our wish for the AC to be cooler but we are Australian and prefer it that way

We were there in April 2025. The service was beyond excellent, the hotel and grounds were breathtaking, and the food was very good. I would highly recommend staying there and we will be back soon.

The best hotel we have stayed at. Its quiet luxury in terms of service - the hotel staff at all levels are down to earth and treat everyone equally and kindly and their service does leave you wanting for anything

Paul, their head concierge, is beyond exceptional. Provided a lot of help with day trips and recommendations that we took and loved. They even helped with a car rental that was dropped and picked up at the hotel

And Paul also came and picked us up when the taxis were on strike for a night (so kind). The rooms are immaculate and extremely clean. They are beautifully decorated and spacious

My room was comfortable and cosy, and although it looked onto the road and was on the first floor it wasn’t noisy at all and I slept very well. The hotel was impeccably clean throughout

There's a small outdoor balcony garden on the 4th floor with great views. It's not far from the attractions either. This is definitely one of the best places I've stayed while traveling

The decor gives a unique feel to every corner of the structure, including the charming roof terrace with its views over the Florentine rooftops. I hope to get the chance to visit again soon!

The room is quite warmly decorated, and the hotel is in a very good location. You can reach famous attractions such as the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore within walking distance

The staff was beyond friendly and we especially loved the little touches: cookies in our room, our bed freshly made every time we left and returned , they even gave us water bottles before our drive home, booked our spa or any reservations for us, called taxis for us in minutes, and any time we needed more toiletries they immediately sent it up to our room

I literally only mentioned it and the young man remembered and got it done. Enjoying my Regency breakfast on the high speed train to Venice was a delight

We prefer to be away from noisy tourist area and appreciate a little walk after dinner so fine for us. On the one day we needed to be somewhere quickly, the front desk called us a cab that arrived in a couple minutes

The cleaning staff also greeted us warmly each morning and provided very nice turn down service. This hotel had done an excellent job hiring and training its staff

The hotel need redecoration (it is still charming but cracks, worn out carpets etc may frighten someone) and windows need to be changed as those are letting all the noise from the street to your room

the bathroom had broken tiles, a bathtub with a shower head on the uneven side of the tub, making it very dangerous and uncomfortable, a bidet attached to the toilet brush, making it impossible not to bump your knee, and the remote control and light were broken

Even though I wrote that I wanted a quiet room, they didn't inform me that they would be cleaning the streets at around 5:50 in the morning. This wasn't their responsibility, but they could have politely highlighted this

Hotel location is good, only 12 minutes from train station and within walking distance to other main sites. It is a super clean boutique hotel with a small garden inside which highlights it's attractiveness

There are brochures introducing the history and attractions of Florence. The front desk also provides tourist maps. There is free afternoon tea in the afternoon. The overall experience is very good

The disadvantage is that the rooms facing the street can hear the sound of cars outside at night, which feels a bit noisy. In addition, the height of the pillow is a bit awkward for me

The hotel is not far from the train station and various attractions. I didn't take public transportation for two days. The room is quite large and the area is well divided

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We needed to leave the hotel early for day tour and asked for two breakfast bags to be ready early morning

When we approached the reception at 6:45 am, the breakfast bags were ready for picked up and they also provided us with hot coffee in paper cups. I'll definite trily stay at this hotel for our next trip

We asked for a boxed breakfast due to doing a day excursion and this was organised with no problem! We did pay for bed and breakfast, breakfast was average - personally would advise that considering the amount of incredible eateries in Florence, I would buy breakfast outside of the hotel

Stayed here for a city weekend break. Location is fantastic, five minute walk from main train station and approx 10-15min walk to main attractions through Florence. Rooms were lovely and clean, plenty of space

Only grumble is that we couldn’t get the aircon to work and pillows were pretty bad - that being said, beautiful rooms, terrace bar was lovely and staff were friendly and helpful

  no complaints except that the bathroom floor might get slippery after being wet so it’s better to put floor mats. however you can easily use the towels provided.   breakfast was amazing and selection was so good

It's also super convenient, only about a 5-minute walk from SMN Station, and even with luggage, you can easily get to the airport by tram without needing a taxi

The room itself was comfortably spacious for two people with luggage, which is always a plus. The bathroom is on the smaller side, but that’s understandable and didn’t bother us too much

In freezing weather - day and night? Thankfully, when we returned to the room later in the evening, the smell was gone. However, this incident left a bad taste in our mouths

The only minor downside is that the bathroom entrance is located right next to the bed, which may feel a bit icky for some guests
