We loved the hotel for so many reasons. The location is excellent, the building is so interesting, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the roof terrace is fabulous

Breakfast was amazing and staff were friendly! The best part was the viewing tower at the top with views of the whole city.

Bravo! Philipe and Corso (sp) were amazing as was the entire staff and experience! Viviana and breakfast perfecto!

Loved the location, the rooftop views and the breakfast. The breakfast attendant was so amazing- she remembered what we ordered and was a very bright light each morning. Our room, 309, was a bit dark and had no mirror

There was a mirror in the bathroom of course. Ironically there were so many mirrors everywhere but none in our room. We were able to even walk to the train station which was very easy and doable

Location is just far enough away from the noise but close enough for an easy walk to most tourist attractions. Nothing but good things about this hotel

The hotel offers a full breakfast with fruit, juice, pastries, coffee, eggs, bacon, sandwich meats plus made to order omelets, plus more. The room make up service is neat and crisp

Breakfast and tea time were so fresh and delicious. And our room was comfortable, immaculate and quiet We were sad to leave and look forward to retuning soon!

The people that work in the hotel are so kind and helpful. The hotel is centrally located and within a 10-20 minute walk of most attractions

It’s also right by the train station, which is very convenient. The rooms are okay but not the best. The pillows were uncomfortable, and the shower wasn’t good at all

The service was very welcoming. The location is super convenient, right next to the station, and the breakfast was excellent. Plus, they offer luggage storage, which is a big help.

For a 3 star hotel, the service and room provided are of decent quality. With attentive front desk staff and clean rooms. Provided breakfast is adequate and good

This was an exceptional stay in a really nice boutique hotel, in the heart of Florence with excellent staff! The hotel is luxurious, well designed with great artwork all over

The room was spacious had all needed amenities (including complementary minibar items) and had a lovely hand written welcome note and gift which was much appreciated! Breakfast included lots of options

Great feature is the 5th floor where guests can relax at anytime, with available coffee/tea/hot water as well as a microwave and many cool art books

It was a skip-floor room, but it was attractive because of its unique structure. The basics of the hotel are generally good.

Right in the middle of all the luxury shopping and walking distance to all the main attractions in Florence. Rooms were modern, clean and spacious

The complimentary minibar, generously refilled daily with drinks and snacks, was a wonderful touch. Most of all, the staff were very friendly, attentive, and thoughtful, adding a lovely personal touch to the stay!

It is in the best location, close to Santa Maria Novella Station and Duomo. It is good to come in and rest when you are tired from traveling

Although the room and bathroom is both tiny but the hotel staff service were excellent and helpful and friendly.

The front desk was very nice and friendly, and they checked us in early. Opening the window, you can see the street around the corner from Florence. It really feels like Florence. I'd definitely stay here again

The hotel is in the city center near the train station. It is a 5-8 minute walk from the train station and a 3-5 minute walk from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore

And beautiful room with the masterpiece paintings all over. A modern and yet a very antique space, with a good sense of humor, and with a history. 15 min by foot to almost everything, inc. Very good breakfast included

Hot Radiator in the bathroom is one of the best things to make life of a traveler much better

My room felt very new, located on 1st floor where the superheroes greeted me every morning, Windows open to inner courtyard so very quiet. Hardly heard the reno works next door but we were outdoor mostly

A little pricey but well located. Alberto was so accommodating and helpful. The best part was the double entrance. Massive wooden outside doors then an old metal gate, into a private courtyard

I absolutely adore Oltrarno Splendid! The room was fabulous (and spacious), the buffet breakfast was amazing, and the service was outstanding! Plus they made us espresso and cappuccinos on request! It was so close to the train station and everything we wanted to see, so we were able to walk the entire time

Fantastic hotel in a really vibrant neighborhood full of amazing food, shops and historical sites. Great staff. Breakfast was varied enough to keep our interest for 6 days. Can’t recommend this hotel any more highly.

It’s wonderful to see art on all the walls, even the staff jackets are art. Rooms were huge, modern bathrooms, extremely clean, beautiful shared spaces, beautiful breakfast area

The hotel overall looked good we really recommend the restaurant but the room we got had a REALLY REALLY strong sewage smell, it even woke me up in the middle of the night and had to open the window

Good size room and very comfortable. If your room is facing the main strip, it could be quite noisy late night when other tourist are drunk and speaking very loudly

Convenience location only room bit small but overall good to stay

With a busy itinerary daily, my priorities for a room were a large bed, quietness, no strange smells, a convenient shower, and the ability to wash small items (like shorts and socks). This room largely fit the bill

The downsides were the weak shower pressure and a sink that wasn't practical for washing my son's socks. On the bright side, there was a water dispenser and a coffee machine for unlimited drinks

Stayed at Mercure Firenze Centro for two weeks. Perfect location as it is located 5 minutes away from Santa Maria Novella Train Station. Closed to nearby attractions by walking distance

Very surprised to have balcony in the room! Have water dispenser in the lobby. Can get sparkling water. Very close to central station. No slippers provided.

The hotel is very close to the city center. All tourist attractions are within walking distance. The soundproofing is excellent. The breakfast is also very good.

Perfect hotel experience! Excellent location. People at the reception were very kind. There are ramps and an elevator. Rooms were great with a mini-fridge and supplies for tea/coffee

Breakfast was great and it’s walking distance to everything. There’s a parking but have to pay separate. Good place for people traveling by car.

We stayed in a deluxe suite and it had a well stocked mini bar at very reasonable prices, a free nespresso machine and tea bags, kitchen and dining area, large living room overlooking the beautiful tuscan terraces a lovely bedroom and bathroom with nice toiletries everything you need and more

We were breakfast only and there was a vast selection of continental breakfast and a good selection of hot breakfast if you wish

The hotel is 5 kilometres from the center but There is a regular bus service every half hour that takes you into liberta the no 25 from there you can get trams to all over the city

The gardens, the pool and dining area are lovely and made it a really special stay. It has breath-taking views over the city

It's just a 4-minute walk to Santa Maria del Fiore, passing through charming courtyards that offer breathtaking views. The Accademia Gallery is also conveniently close by. I highly recommend this cozy spot

We stayed in winter, the room was very warm and quiet, the overall feeling was very good, it is worth recommending

The location is incredibly convenient, with a breakfast shop across the street that opens early, making it easy to eat. Carrefour is also nearby, so you can grab some food and cook every night

Started off in a room with a tiny shower, smaller than a cruise shower. Spoke to the staff and upgrade to a different room which was amazing. The staff was very helpful and always happy to great you

The breakfast was a little expensive. I ordered the French toast that came with ham and cheese. What came out was a grilled cheese sandwich, lol??

It is advertised as free luggage storage however, our luggage was placed behind the receptionist counter with no receptionist just the cleaner who was watching it during the time of checkout to when we had left, which was about 3 to 4 hours

There was black mold on the ceiling of the shower and the shower did not drain well as you were standing in buildup of 2 to 3 inches of water at the base, the room itself was extremely clean and very spacious, especially for a room in the city; very walkable to shops and restaurants nearby

The residence itself is a charming historic property that has been passed down through generations since the 1500s, and you can feel that beautiful sense of heritage the moment you arrive

The hot water was excellent, the heating system worked perfectly, and we had a beautiful terrace to enjoy the surroundings. Everything felt cozy yet elegant. One of the highlights is the garden and breakfast area

The entire compound is incredibly gorgeous, peaceful, and full of character — it feels like a private Tuscan retreat. We arrived later than the official check-in time, but the owner was extremely kind and welcoming

We also loved that there is a resident dog who played with our dog, which made the stay even more special for us. If our itinerary hadn’t been so packed, we would absolutely have stayed another night

He even called his son to come and help check us in despite the late hour. That level of hospitality really touched us. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped

Love, love, loved this Hotel! Fantastic location - close to the centre but still fairly quiet and every night we were there a musical performer played in the piazza outside our window (but we had good sound proofing if we just closed the window)

It is no more than 10 minutes' walk from the central train station. The front desk said that Leonardo da Vinci once lived in this building for a year, and the church square is right outside the window

The hotel is in a great location. The room I stayed in had a view of the dome of San Lorenzo Church, with a great view. The booking rating is 9.2. It's only a 5-minute walk to the Duomo!

Recent stay in October 2025 was EXCELLENT. Wonderful hotel in an incredible area. The staff was extremely professional, helpful, and made the few days we stayed there special. Recommend the breakfast too, 10/10
