Excellent hotel, our room was very dark and from the entrance it smelled like sewage but it was super clean and comfortable. Alessandro the concierge was very efficient, polite and provided excellent service

My wife and i would happily start the day with handmade lattes and delicious assortment of breakfast food. I’m not certain there can be a hotel more centrally located

Every morning between 4-5, the night manager would great me with a genuinely big smile and offer to make me a coffee. He’d also bring me some shortbread cookies

It is so nice to not have to have to leave the hotel to have a cocktail. The bed and pillows were very comfortable

The chief waiter at the breakfast room was also amazing, nice and efficient

I can’t recommend **NH Collection Firenze Porta Rossa** enough—I'd come back in a heartbeat! And whatever you do, don’t skip the breakfast—it’s absolutely delicious!

Great location close to the train station. The hotel Albani Firenze lobby is clean and professional front desk employees. There is only one elevator you need to be patient in the morning people checking and checking out

The room key was a substantial, heavy iron one, and we had to leave it at the front desk every time we went out. I stayed for two nights, but there was no complimentary bottled water provided on the second night

The building itself has the feel of a historic grand hotel, with high ceilings, marble bathrooms, and classic décor that give it real character

They had a really good selection of breakfast that came included with our stay. It was probably the best value for our entire family trip. 134 euro with breakfast included. Can't beat that.

It was difficult to understand it the pool area was open and how to get into it if the restaurant was closed. The hotel from the front appears very worn down but has good bones

If someone is looking for perfect rooms, this is not the place. The rooms are good and the beds are comfortable, but there is quite a bit of work to be done in painting and the wallpaper and doors

I personally feel that this price is very cost-effective, and it takes 20 minutes to get to the city center by bus. It feels great to have breakfast by the swimming pool every day.

The hotel is next to a small square and not far from a bridge. The city isn't large, so getting around is easy. The room was quite large, and the extra bed was basically just the sofa at the end of the bed

The room was very clean and upscale. The hotel is located on a pedestrian street, easily accessible by taxi. The location is excellent, very close to the train station, a ten-minute walk

The hotel is very close to the train station. We didn't take a taxi when we arrived, so we walked for over ten minutes along the cobblestone road with our luggage

It was not good that the shower room was flooded. The light in the bathroom did not work, which was a problem. The water was sometimes cloudy

And speaking of relaxation, the bedsheets were incredibly comfy - easily among the best we've ever experienced at a hotel

We recently spent a few wonderful days at Cerretani Hotel, and it exceeded all our expectations. Our room was very spacious, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind

Just a small reminder: better to take a receipt from the reception for the city tax paid upon check in. We paid the city tax upon check in and when we check out, the front desk said we have outstanding payment

We have left our personal belongings there, still no reply even we’ve contacted via trip. One of the lobby restuarant is under construction, dont know if this is the reason of a bad smell in the public area

Amazing hotel, with great facilities and staff

The parking fee is 30 euros for a commercial vehicle and 25 euros for a regular car, which is too expensive. Breakfast is 13 euros, which is acceptable. Overall, the stay was mediocre. The single bed was a bit small

Just round the corner from Jazz Bistrot which serves lovely meals in a nice ambience, with music every night, with talented musicians and different style and instruments

Hotel is very confortable, good beds and AC, with nice decoration in the rooms and lobby area. It is not in the city center, therefore the street is not the best

The location is good! Near the SMN railway station which means you can go anywhere. But it will be a little bit noisy, for me isn’t a big deal. Staff are friendly.

Plenty of good food around as well as a carrerfour express. Rooms importantly were also quiet so I was able to sleep well. Aircon worked superbly and shower pressure was excellent

Good location right next to the Florence central train station,hotel also has arrangement with a parking lot right next door for €30 per night which is very convenient

I loved that the bathroom had a window so you could let air in and out, except it usually meant letting in mosquitoes too so it was best left closed

Nice hotel and well located in Florence city center.

The location is definitely the best part of this hotel. It is incredibly convenient, the Santa Maria Novella (SMN) train station is just a block away, and the Rosselli tram station is right outside the door

Breakfast was just okay. The location is convenient, close to the train station, and there's a tram right outside that goes directly to Florence Airport. You can walk to the Duomo in under half an hour.

A Disaronno by the pool is exactly what I needed after a long day of touring the city. Let’s start by saying, best continental breakfast I’ve ever had

Convenience location only room bit small but overall good to stay

With a busy itinerary daily, my priorities for a room were a large bed, quietness, no strange smells, a convenient shower, and the ability to wash small items (like shorts and socks). This room largely fit the bill

The downsides were the weak shower pressure and a sink that wasn't practical for washing my son's socks. On the bright side, there was a water dispenser and a coffee machine for unlimited drinks

Stayed at Mercure Firenze Centro for two weeks. Perfect location as it is located 5 minutes away from Santa Maria Novella Train Station. Closed to nearby attractions by walking distance

Very surprised to have balcony in the room! Have water dispenser in the lobby. Can get sparkling water. Very close to central station. No slippers provided.

Recent stay in October 2025 was EXCELLENT. Wonderful hotel in an incredible area. The staff was extremely professional, helpful, and made the few days we stayed there special. Recommend the breakfast too, 10/10

Great hotel and good position near the center

Overall I would 100% come back to this hotel and recommend it to anyone traveling to Florence. It was the perfect home base to explore the city and surrounding countryside

The location is 25 min walk from city center, shuttles are nice but there are only 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. If you want to drive back later than 18:00 you need to take public transportation or taxi

Note the city tax (8€ per night per person) atr note included. Other extra services are very expensive: 29€ per day for parking a car, laundry is per item and socks are 3€ so it sums up high

Very quiet resort 5 km from the Florence Centro, but It is very quiet resort after a long day out in the city.

The in house amenities are fantastic. The bar and restaurant are incredible and worthy of a visit if you aren’t staying at the hotel. It’s also very reasonably priced. The cooking class is incredible

We booked Portrait Firenze for our stay in Florence after having a great experience at Portrait Milano last summer. The hotel is centrally located and right on the Ponte Vecchio with outstanding views from the rooms

The only thing that would have made this hotel even better for me would be a gym, but as someone that likes to pack in one million activities into their vacation schedule this location was perfect

We didn’t take a cab our entire stay and were able to easily walk everywhere we needed to go. Now I will need to go to Rome to stay at the original location!
