Reviews
From the moment we arrived, everything was amazing. The accommodation beautifully embraces traditional Japanese culture, which made the experience feel so special and authentic. It’s perfectly located in the heart of Happo Village making it a short walk to the mountain, restaurants, and bars, and super close to the Happo Bus Terminal. The rooms were spotless and very well maintained. The staff were genuinely so kind and welcoming, always keeping us updated on local events and even offering us rides around town when we couldn’t get an Uber. You can truly feel how much they care about their guests and take pride in sharing their culture.
We had such a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. Thank you for having us! :)
another shuttle bus picks you up and drops you off at the front door to get to happo gondola. Just an all around great place to stay.
The staff were extremely accomodating and flexible. The hotel itself was great offering a traditional experience, great breakfast and an extremely convenient location- close to the Happo One bus terminal, most rental stores, lots of restaurants and bars. The staff were extremely helpful with transfers and were happy to drop off to lessons, or to Hakuba Station.
the onsens were tattoo friendly, they had a dry room for gear were super accomodating so as to let us hang around for a few hours after check-out while waiting for our transport.
Over-all it was our favourite accomodation during our trip to Japan.
I definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Hakuba. Arigatou!🗻🙏🏻
The owner is very warm and friendly, and the staff are very helpful and courteous.
The room is very accommodating, with a change of towels, hot drinking water in a thermos, and bedsheets every day. There is central heating, but if that’s not enough for you, there is an extra radiator you can plug in. I highly recommend it to keep you toasty at night. If you’re a large person and am not a fan of tiny bathrooms, don’t worry - there is an extra sink outside the bathroom in your room that you can use instead. I also suggest you shower at the onsen room, and do number two in the bathroom on the first floor bc it’s the only toilet with the bidet function (aka “smart toilet”).
The meals are plentiful without making you hungry or too full for skiing, and the onsen with hot sauna room on the 5th floor is legit. There is a washing machine and a dryer which you can use when inserting coins. So all in all, an excellent place with everything you need and great location. Would definitely stay there again.
Warning: Please note that other tenants might smoke in their rooms, so the hallways might have a smell, but my room had no smell whatsoever during the entire stay of 6 days, even when the hallways had a strong smell. The smell completely clears the next day, so it’s not a big issue. Enjoy your stay! I know I did.
The boss and it’s family is awesome
The ski court was near and the boss will help us call the shuttle bus
