The old man at the front desk was very attentive. When he learned that I was going to climb Mount Rishiri, he specially drove me along the way. The location is close to Hokkaido University, a bit out of the way. You can walk to Sapporo Station, but there's no underground shopping street nearby. One male staff member, after realizing we didn't speak Japanese, became very rude and inexplicably lost his temper with us. The room was also very small and had no heating.

Very Nice cabin, great service also. The shuttlebus was a Nice feature to get to and from the town, and they even came and picked is up outside the pickup times one time. There was a fine layer of black dust on the duvet, but the bedsheets underneath were quite clean. The location is excellent, right next to Tanukikoji Shopping Street and Sapporo TV Tower. The room was spacious for one person and since I am big fan of hot springs the fact that the shower was a big public bathtub was very good to me.

The breakfast was excellent. Delicious. They even had honey. The only downside was that you could hear the water running in other rooms. Other than that, there were no issues. You have to go to another hotel to use the public bath. I didn't use it this time. If it was warmer, I would have liked to walk there.

The toilet, sink, and bath were all separate, which made it very comfortable. The low price and the large room were perfect for a family stay. The vegetables at breakfast were delicious and looked beautiful too, so we were very satisfied. The male staff member's service was excellent and attentive.

At the breakfast buffet, you can enjoy honey from honeycomb, which goes well with yogurt and bread.

The rooms are clean and seem to have been renovated. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast options were not huge, but the food was delicious and satisfying, with dishes made with Hidaka's specialty kelp and the ability to sample and compare honey. I would like to stay here again.

The room looks exactly like the pictures, maybe a tiny bit smaller. The parking lot isn't great; it's right on the street and you definitely need a reservation. Otherwise, there's another one nearby that's a little pricier. There's also a Lawson convenience store about a 7-8 minute walk away. The only downside is that there are no smoking rooms.

I'd say it's 99% perfect. First of all, it's extremely well located. Secondly, there's a bar with all kinds of free drinks, as well as towels, toothbrushes, etc., and a snack bar with noodles and small snacks (more than enough for a meal). The cabin is fine, not too small. So, really perfect!

It’s a very warm and hospitable local inn, not one of those stylish chain hotel brands. But if you’re visiting a place like Abashiri, which is rich in local charm and warmth, you absolutely must stay here.
