On the last day of my trip, I wanted to experience one of the top 100 hot spring hotels. Upon entering, staff knelt to greet me, and I was offered homemade matcha and cookies. The hotel had a rustic charm. Entering the room, I was immediately struck by its cleanliness and spaciousness. The staff doesn't try to hide the unequal service offered to foreign guests compared to that of the locals. No staff member offered to help us with our luggage. About 10-15mins driving distance from the city center. Parking is located next to it (around 2mins walking distance) where u have to walk through an alley to hotel main door. Nice clean little business hotel with breakfast. It's seen it's years, but all the necessary facilities are there and not much to complain for the price. The breakfast is Japanese style buffet, limited options and practically the same everyday, but healthy and tasty enough.

I wanted a cheap place to stay, and the hotels around Asahikawa Station were fully booked, so I chose this one. There are bars a short walk away, but not as many as in front of Asahikawa Station. Maybe you can get closer to the downtown area by bus? It's old, but at least the cleaning is done well. The front desk staff was young, but they seemed unmotivated, which was disappointing.

Great stay for the price, single room with enough room for luggage. Breakfast for ¥600 it's definitely worth it, don't expect to be fancy but good enough for the price.

This is probably the cheapest ski-in/ski-out hotel in Niseko, and ski-in/ski-out is truly essential! Carrying ski boards uphill is just too tiring. Plus, there's a hot spring on the first floor of the hotel, which feels amazing.

The location is ideal, right in the center of town. However, getting to and from the slopes (ski-in/ski-out) requires navigating a very long and slippery staircase. The private hot spring in the room was a great perk.

This is the best choice for solo travelers looking for a quick in-and-out stay. Although it's been open for a while, the facilities and hot spring quality are still above the average for Japanese hotels. Do note that rooms are not cleaned daily, and the connecting staircase between the first floor and the family course is quite long, so please be careful.
