All three of us stayed in cabin Obihiro. We were really pleasantly surprised by the value of the hotel, boasting an onsen that was way better than we expected. Staff were helpful and good to us and everything was simple and easy!

Our room is probably called Family room, with 2 single beds and 1 queen bed. The room was pretty big for Japan size and kept clean. The furniture is old but it never bother us. The sento facility was the highlight for us. There's a Seico kombini across the road. We'll stay here again if opportunity arises.

I stayed overnight in Obihiro on my way back from a trip to Shihoro. There's a moor hot spring, and I warmed up in it twice. The breakfast buffet had a great view and was delicious! I'm glad I stayed here. The hotel arranged for my suitcase to be sent by courier, and I took the morning bus back to New Chitose Airport. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel.

Great location, just opposite the JR station. It’s just 2 mins walk to Sankaku Market. About 10mins walk to canal. If you have luggage and do not wanna drag around especially during winter, this is a great option. Room size is small but quite standard in Japan. Onsen is good and has a pin to enter for female. Breakfast is pretty good.

Hotel location is convenience. It’s just opposite the Otaru JR station. Walking distance to most of the attractions. The breakfast buffet also provide wide variety of options, can customise our own sashimi bowl. But the breakfast location is not very big so need to go early to avoid congestion.

The hotel is quite dated. Can see that the decor, furniture etc are all probably seen decades of use. Regardless, the location was great - just outside the train station. I can leave my luggage immediately and go sightseeing. Breakfast too was great. The eggs were so good. Finally, there’s natural hot springs too that was amazing after a tiring day.

If you're sensitive to smoke, definitely avoid the smoking rooms. Even the air purifier was steeped in secondhand smoke. However, the hotel's overall facilities are good 👍. There's a massage chair and various multiplayer card games available, as well as a play area for children.

This hotel is a good alternative to Chitose Airport Hotel. They offer FREE shuttle services to and from the airport. If you wish to stay the night, due to weather or early flight out, this is a good alternative. Price is reasonable. From CTS to the hotel, shuttle service begins at 5pm on an hourly basis. The hotel's parking lot had limited spaces, so I parked in a nearby parking lot. Other than that, I didn't experience any inconvenience and it was very comfortable! I was happy to receive a free beer when I declined cleaning during my extended stay!

Stayed here for a brief overnight stop en route to Shiretoko. Twin room was spacious by Japanese standard, with small double beds. Car park charge reasonable at ¥600. We used the laundry. Washers free. The roof top hot baths were great. The late evening Ramen was most welcome. I have stayed in many Dormy Inn and would recommend.

This hotel has an amazing location, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. For the price, getting such a great location and breakfast is truly excellent. No wonder so many tour groups stay here! On the day we stayed, there were groups from Taiwan, China, and Thailand. I didn't get many photos.

This hotel has a great location very near the Sapporo Clock Tower and TV Tower where most of the tour groups meet up. It has also a nearby Lawson & Family Mart which is just a few steps away from the hotel. The underground walkway entry point that leads to Sapporo Station is exit 7, which is also a few steps away from Koko Hotel

The room and meals were excellent, but the building was so cold that I caught a cold. The room was far from the baths and restaurant, so I got chilled while walking there. I would definitely want to avoid going during the colder months.

I stayed at a ryokan with a private hot spring in the room. I used the public bath as well, but I especially liked the private hot spring. All the staff were friendly, and it was even better that the front desk remembered my face.

The location is good, not far from the main commercial district. Sapporo city itself isn't that big, so there's no need to choose a hotel near Sapporo Station unless it's during the snowy season. This was the hotel I regretted booking the most on this Japan trip. The location wasn’t very convenient it’s quite a walk to the station if you’re dragging luggage, and it’s also a bit far from the shopping streets. Excellent stay! The hotel is convenient and easy to access, with great transportation links. It's also very quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, even bowing. Even though 'JR' is in the hotel's name, it's not actually that close to the JR station – about a 10-minute walk. There's a convenience store right across from the hotel. If convenience for getting around is a top priority for you, I wouldn't really recommend this place, especially if you're hauling luggage in snowy weather.
