room small but ok. tv need to pay and the tv got ********** as children is not suitable.
I think almost all my stays at Dormy Inns in Japan has been great.
Location is average as a whole, 500m ish walking distance to the train station which is perfectly fine except when it's winter.
The good thing however is the breakfast, free ramen at night, free ice cream, free probiotic drink in the morning. Room is also fairly reasonably large compared to Tokyo rooms.
Short walk away from the station, great value for money. Room is small but not cramped.
There is onsen and free ice cream. There was also complimentary late night ramen but this might be limited time
The room was tiny. There's free multi-story parking. We got stuck in Hokkaido for a night because our flight was canceled due to a heavy snowfall in Sapporo on Jan 25th. All the hotels near Chitose were fully booked, so we ended up finding this place an hour's drive (80 km) away. The hotel also has an onsen. The front desk recommended Ippei Yakitori, but it was just so-so. The main issue was how incredibly...
Good hotel and onsen. We enjoyed our stayed there. There is a lot of complimentary like ice cream, yakult after onsen. And at night there is free ramen. Kids really happy. Definitely will come back someday

Enjoyed my stay at Lifort Hotel Sapporo for 5 nights. The hotel has a 4-star feel, and while the facilities are slightly older, the stay was still comfortable. Smooth check-in and check-out, nearby convenience store, parking at 1,000 yen per day, and a great location next to Nakajima Park.
Variety of western and japanese breakfast. The high-floor room with a Sapporo city view was a nice bonus.
the staff so friendly and helpfull! nice location near to nakajima koen station. strategic location. thank you so much for the pleasant stay. Def will come back and stay here. keep it up
I stayed here for the first time when I visited the Sapporo Snow Festival.
The hotel is conveniently located, just a 3-5 minute walk from Nakajima-Koen Station's Exit 3, right past the Sapporo Park Hotel. There's also a FamilyMart on the way, which is very handy. From Sapporo Station, it's about a 5-minute ride on the Namboku Line to Nakajima-Koen Station.
The hotel itself feels a bit old, and the...
A very satisfying stay.
The hotel is very close to Nakajima-koen Station, just a three-minute walk from Exit 3. Be aware that the traffic light between Nakajima Park and the hotel entrance requires you to press the button on the pole to change to green.
The hotel facilities are a bit old but acceptable. The front desk and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. Disposable amenities can be...
The hotel location is great, right near Nakajima Park. You can take a stroll there during the day. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful; we lost our room card and they reissued it for us for free, which was a nice touch. You absolutely *must* try the BBQ place near the hotel – we went twice!
The hotel is great, and the window view is beautiful, overlooking Nakajima Park and half of the city. The hotel has a laundry room, microwave, and ice machine. You can also request daily cleaning, and the amenities are very comprehensive, including facial cleanser, moisturizer, makeup remover, razor, cotton swabs, comb, and more. The room is also very warm. I can't find any flaws.

I always try to stay at Dormy Inn when in Japan as I rarely have any bad surprises and usually are well maintained & clean. Onsen and late night ramen are nice
There is a good hot spring and sauna. They serve a ramen noodle for free at night.
They have a good spring in the facility. Delicious Ramen is available during night time about 2hrs. Good services
Great for short stay. Theres complimentary ice-cream, yogurt drink and ramen.
Convenient and nearby main street has many local delicacy. Great stay overall.
Room key card does not work. Need to go down to reception 3 times till staff follow to the room and fix room key card.

Rooms were very clean and neat and I like it.It even prepare a toothbrush and other necessary things for bath. There were also breakfast but we didn't go for it as we need to fasting.Overall it was very nice place!
There are four APA hotels in Sapporo, so it took me a bit to locate this one. The TKP is perfectly located between Odori Park and Sapporo Station which made walking around and exploring easy. The rooms were small with little room for anything besides a double bed and desk along the wall. Unfortunately the room I stayed in had mysterious streaking stains inside the toilet and was unbearably hot. I was...
I’ve stayed in countless hotels in Japan, and many APA hotels.
The main things I care about when rating a hotel: location, cleanliness, cost-to-performance, and compatibility for non-smokers.
I don’t put much value in room size because Japanese hotels tend to be smaller, and I use hotels for just sleeping, not for lounging.
Location: 8/10
Cleanliness: 7/10
Cost-to-performance: 6/10
Non-smoker compatibility...
Pretty good hotel , Lobby is on 6th floor, the staff are nice , good service and helpful, here is not far from Sapporo station around 500 meters by walk, and from airport bus stops around 200 meters by walk , bus stops to Sapporo beer museum, I stayed 17 th and 21th of December, it was snowing, it was difficult to walk because the floor was slippery , opposite with hotel has 7-11 , and Yayoi is...
1. The front desk personnel were very helpful. She even helped us book taxis since we had a flight to catch and it was peak hour.
2. The room was a typical APA room—minimalist—but the amenities were great, especially the toiletries and the coffee, tea, and water.
It's located in the center of town, making it easy to get around. There's a convenience store right in front, which is convenient for shopping at night.

Kudos to the housekeeping team for keeping my room clean. The bed is consistently made up neatly.
I love the location. It's within walking distance to Susukino subway and Tanukikoji street but away from the noise and busy streets. Located just beside the Nijo Market and a huge Lawson convenient store. Walk down 1 block and there is Family Mart.
Gym is well-equipped.

A stay made perfect by a beautiful room, ideal location, and wonderful hospitality.
Very friendly hotel staff and well maintained amenities. Hotel is located near popular areas and food areas. Room is decent size with everything required for a comfortable stay. Will come back again if i am back in sapporo!
The hotel is walking distance to susukino street, 3 min walks away to family mart and some local ramen shop. It’s nearby the clock tower as well. The only downside is if u took the limousine bus from airport, you have to drag ur luggage all the way to the hotel … it is nightmare if is winter time where the road is piled up with snow. The Fairfield by Marriott Sapporo offers excellent value for money. The decor is simple and in a Japanese style, and the room was, as expected, very tidy and clean. While it's a bit of a walk from the subway station, which might be inconvenient on a snowy day, overall it's a good choice!

A no-frills hotel. Note that this hotel is NOT connected to the station. Rooms are small. Amenities are to be taken from the first floor. Room has one window but since it's very close to the tracks, they have a thick sliding door to block out the sound.
This hotel is super close to the JR station exit, making the location really convenient. The room isn't huge, but it's incredibly well-designed. I was able to open both a 24-inch and a 30-inch suitcase comfortably. It has everything you need, a small space but fully equipped! The soundproofing is actually pretty good; I didn't hear any noise from other rooms. However, because it's so close to the JR...
Highly recommended, highly recommended!
First, let's talk about the location. This hotel is quite close to the JR station, about a 10-minute walk. There are several convenience stores and a post office nearby, and it's close to Hokkaido University. However, if you want to go to Tanukikoji Shopping Street, it might be a bit far, about a 1km walk. There are many restaurants near the hotel, including...
Staying one night in Sapporo, the hotel's location is pretty good, very close to Sapporo JR Station. It's suitable for a layover before heading to Asahikawa or catching a flight from New Chitose. The room size is on the smaller side, so I'd recommend not booking the smallest room available.
Good location with delicious breakfast.
Quite close to the JR station, around 5 min walk away. Price is reasonable and good if you’re looking for a convenient place to stay at

Very nice location, very near key places. Adjacent to the hotel is the shopping street, including the 24-hour Don Quijote with just around 50 meter distance, so you can shop late night or early morning. the amenities is also good. the room is just right. Will stay here again on next visit,
Our family booked a non-smoking quadruple room for 2 nights. It had one large bed and two single beds, and the space was sufficient. The room was also very clean. The only thing we found a bit unusual was that the bathroom was located at the very back of the room instead of near the entrance. Every evening, adults received a complimentary beer. The hotel is conveniently located right off a pedestrian...
The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, it felt like a luxurious Japanese feast. The hotel's back exit opens right onto Tanukikoji, making it incredibly convenient for shopping. The only minor drawback was the slightly small bathroom for the room type I booked, but other than that, everything was perfect. The hotel also feels very new.
Guys , this hotel is super convenient location! You can enjoy free beer daily every night! The pork bowl rice served during breakfast is so yummy. Amenities are provided so don’t waste your luggage space bringing them from your country! Focus on shopping when staying in this hotel!
Everything in this hotel was excellent, the location is right across donki in the covered shopping area, the breakfast also many options and very good, it's our 3rd time here and definitely will book here again.
The location is quite good. If you walk past the ground floor restaurant from the hotel lobby, you'll find the back entrance, which leads directly to Tanukikoji 4 – very convenient. The hotel is a bit far from Hakodate Station and the main city attractions, but the room was quite clean and the price was very reasonable. I accidentally lost my key card and had to pay a 2000 yen replacement fee, but overall it was a good stay.
The location is superb, and we found a fantastic value-for-money wagyu set menu not far from the hotel. The snow scenery combined with the Japanese garden offered a unique charm.
Kudos to this hotel. My stay there was amazing. The hotel is close to streetcar station, but during winter it still pretty challenging to pull your luggage. That is expected situation for any hotel in Hokkaido 😆. The receptionist was really helpful. She help to call taxi for me when I don’t know how to do so.
The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was decent. Location was very convenient for sightseeing.

Firstly, the service was great, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel booking platform I used stated the room size was 32 square meters. Upon arrival, I found out it was more like a small hostel-style room, and the entrance only had a curtain for privacy, which felt very...
Following the navigation on Ctrip leads to the correct building, but Google Maps directs you to the annex, which is a five to six-minute walk away. The annex doesn't have a front desk; check-in is done via self-service machines. In the main building, Indian staff are available to assist with machine check-in. The hotel is conveniently located, just a three to five-minute walk from JR Station and Otaru...
The main building for check-in is really close to JR station. Just exit, go straight, turn left after you see Lawson, and then another left at the intersection. It's about 400 meters. The hotel is spread out in several areas. After check-in, the staff told us our villa was another 10-minute walk away. Luckily, there's a shuttle service both ways. It meant we were quite a distance from the onsen, but...
There's a delicious soup curry restaurant right downstairs in the main building, but if your room happens to be directly above the kitchen, it can get quite smelly. The location is very convenient for transportation, being close to the JR station.
Everything is perfect for that price. Lovely staff that I've known for ten years now. Arigato gozaimasu.🙏🏼
The location is great, but the hotel is a bit old and dusty in many areas. What's more, the hotel accommodation and the reception are in separate buildings, and so are the hot springs. After soaking, you can't just walk back to your room in your yukata; you have to put on heavy clothes...

Happy to stay in hotel
Because clean and give breakfast
The hotel environment was excellent. Out of the six hotels I stayed at during my eight-day Hokkaido trip, this Toyoko Inn was by far the best for its price range. The breakfast was also very substantial.

The location is excellent.
It was close to a large shopping mall, which was nice.
The breakfast was excellent.

The rooms were quiet and warm.
It's a friendly hotel.
I've stayed here several times because it's close to the station and reasonably priced.
The parking attendants and front desk staff are very friendly.
Aeon is within walking distance, and I ended up parking my car in an affiliated parking lot, which was much cheaper than in town.
The large public bath isn't very large, but it's very relaxing to soak in.
This time, there were no Chinese tourists...
Since it was my first solo trip in a while and I wasn't in a place I'd been to often, I searched for a hotel near the station where I wouldn't get lost and stayed here!
It was a little far from the city center, so I had to walk a bit, but it was quiet and peaceful at night.
The hotel's amenities only listed "towels," so I asked through chat if they had bath towels and was told they didn't.
However...
It's alright. It's close to Asahikawa subway station, so transportation is convenient. There's a bus to Asahikawa Airport near the subway station. You can choose your own time slot for breakfast to avoid the crowds. The facilities are all decent.
I stayed for two nights and didn’t have much interaction with the staff, so it’s hard to comment on the service, but at the very least, there was nothing negative. The room was clean, and although the furnishings and facilities are a bit dated, they were still well functional and didn’t cause any discomfort. The location of hotel is excellent.
My main complaint would be the very poor sound insulation...

The staff at the restaurant are not polite enough, but so far is satisfactory. It was a bit stinky on the 2nd floor.

I booked this hotel because of the great reviews, but I was honestly very disappointed. The soundproofing was terrible — I could hear every noise throughout the night and couldn’t sleep at all. The breakfast buffet was also disappointing; the food was dry, cold, and tasted like it might have been leftovers from the previous day.

The hotel is a bit far from the Kushiro JR line. Although there are shopping malls nearby, most of the restaurants were already closed by the evening of my arrival, and there weren't many people around. The hotel has some history, and the room facilities inevitably show signs of use. The breakfast restaurant is on the top floor with a fantastic view!
