Fantastic location. Clean small rooms but perfect size for single and adequate for sleeping. Just across is Family Mart and one block behind Ginza Six shopping mall. Walking distance to Shinbashi & Ginza subway stations.
Excellent hotel is a really good location and not too far from Ginza station. Nice room, the best shower I’ve ever had, strong and powerful. Only let down was the horrible breakfast. Would recommend and stay again!
However, the hotel's location is excellent, right in Ginza, perfect for shopping! There's a 24-hour Don Quijote just a five-minute walk away, and we even had to queue to pay past midnight
An older hotel with a good location. The entrance is quite small, so you'll need to pay attention to the map the first time you go. Even though it's small, it's very clean and not noisy.

I stayed here for the Lady Gaga concert. The check-in process felt a bit unclear, and the staff weren't very enthusiastic. However, the location is quite good.
The vending machines however are located on a few smoking floors and as soon as you get off the elevator, you get a whiff of stuffy smoky air. Better to buy your drinks before getting to the hotel if you are a non smoker
You book this place for convenience as the stations are close. For an APA , these are the smallest rooms ive ever been in. The staff are wonderful abd breakfast is also good
The room was very cozy, and the bed was larger than usual for a Japanese room, which I appreciated
My only complaint was that the bed only had a comforter and not a sheet, but the staff brought me one once I asked for it, so no complaints there
Just to get this out of the way, the hotel rooms are small if you're in a couple (a bit smaller than I expected). If you're solo, this space would be great. The staff here is incredible and the location is amazing

It’s one of the smallest hotel that I’m have ever stayed in but it is Tokyo! I love the amazing location at Ginza with easy access to lots of food and shopping options, and also working distance to different metro stations and even Tokyo Train station
Great location and a decent hotel. Considering Ginza, the value for money is pretty good. The breakfast is just okay, not much variety. The room is a bit small, and you have to go downstairs to get toiletries
Stations (of various lines) are 10 to 15min walk away. Lotsa shopping, konbini, food, spa all around. Room is clean, size is better than expected (the usual japanese room size). Public bath is good & clean

Excellent location just 5 mins from the Shibuya JR. I was staying at semi-double room(20m2), but it’s spacious. The hotel provided all amenities and even heat pad at the reception

First time ever staying at an APA Hotel and probably the last. Stayed here for 2 nights because of its location to Keikyu Kamata Station and Kamata Station and leaving for Haneda airport after that
When it rains it seems to wet all the carpets to the corridors as they are stained. The cold enters through the entrance door because of this atrium. The bed is quite soft but comfy
APA Hotel Kamata is my first hotel stay in Japan since I came to Japan in April 2022. I stayed here for a total of 8 days due to coronavirus restrictions. However, the hotel is super luxurious
The exterior looks beautiful, but the building itself feels old. There is an atrium in the middle of the building which seems weird to me. It feels like it use to be an apartment block and now converted into a hotel
Where is the pillow is low, and wafer thin, a little uncomfortable. Don't even bother using the WiFi it wouldn't connect for me and when it did it was terrible. I ended up using my own data at lightning speed
Overall, the room was large enough for two people, with TV, kettle, fridge, hairdryer etc. It's somewhere to sleep really only

Accidentally booked smoking room, so have to switch it for non smoking and bigger room with extra 4000 yen as for me- that worked out just fine

The street noise, with all the traffic, was crystal clear. At night, there were many cars revving their engines loudly. For anyone who wants to sleep in and is sensitive to noise, this place would be a nightmare
the best part is it is in Shinjuku but the problem is you have to walk 10-12 minutes to any station. fairly clean room but way too small, not even enough space to place 1 large luggage. really friendly staff though
The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with a wide variety of choices, and everything tasted great. We stayed for three days, so we got to try various breakfast sets, which was definitely a plus
Great hotel and service. Felt treated and looked after by staff especially during Tokyo Marathon. Received a complimentary upgrade, a free drink and mini bar which was appreciated.
