Dai-ichi Hotel Tokyo, Tokyo1 / 27
9.0
Tokyo, 1-2-6 Shimbashi, Minato (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is quiet and conveniently located. The facilities are new and very clean. It's an established hotel that consistently delivers; every stay is comfortable. The hotel staff are also very attentive and polite
This hotel is super conveniently located between Shimbashi and Yurakucho, with tons of food options nearby. Ginza is just a few minutes' walk away, and there's a Lawson and 7-Eleven right across the street
Good location and services, highly recommended this hotel!
Great location, directly connected to Shimbashi Station via an underground passage. The facilities are excellent, and the service quality is superb. It feels like it was once a truly top-notch hotel
After more than six hours on the road from snowy Ginzan Onsen, arriving back in Tokyo and checking into Dai-ichi Hotel Tokyo felt like returning to comfort and familiarity
This is a very good hotel in the center of Tokyo, close to Shinbashi Station and the Shinbashi entertainment area. The hotel has full service and at a reasonable cost

Tokyo, 6 Chome-12-39 Nishishinjuku, Sindzyuku, 160-0023 Tokio, Yaponiya (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The breakfast spread is diverse and abundant, catering to a wide range of tastes. Rooms are clean, tidy, and thoughtfully decorated, creating a comfortable and inviting space for guests to relax
This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Shinjuku's central business district, making it incredibly convenient for both business travelers and those looking to explore and shop
The hotel is quite new, though the rooms are a bit small. There's a convenience store on the basement level, which is super handy, and another one right next to the hotel
Only downside is the room was very small and we didn’t have a lot of space to store our 2 big luggages, the location is on the quieter side of Shinjuku so it takes about 7-10 mins to get to the nearest Subway station too
Overall, my stay was very satisfying; the service was attentive and detailed, making it a truly pleasant accommodation choice
The environment is beautiful and overall very comfortable.

Everything was great. Just note that the breakfasts are quite unique, Japanese style.

Tokyo, 7-27-9 Shinjuku Shinjuku-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Super good location! In a quieter junction but all main Shinjuku areas are walkable! Near to Oedo/Fuktoshin Lines and also bus stop. Room was clean and front desk staff were warm and friendly
A bit small space if you have 32” luggages (two) and two more 20” luggages like us but still manageable. Staffs are helpful, speak English and well organized on the luggage storage
The room size was just right, and it was very clean
The location is super convenient! I'll definitely choose this place again next time! There are also many self-service stores on the first floor, and plenty of convenience stores just a few steps downstairs – it's fantastic!
This is my second time booking with this hotel company and so far my experiences have been great. Affordable hotel, conveniently located near the train station. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
It's located right beside Higashi Shinjuku station exit B2, with lots of convenience stores nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful, room is clean and perfect for a solo traveller

Shinjuku Washington Hotel Annex, Tokyo1 / 28Good price
8.5
Tokyo, 3-2-9 Nishi-Shinjuku (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
We had unagi (grilled eel) at a restaurant next door; they only serve 10 portions a day, and I got the last one. Couldn't order it for my son, so we had to order from the downstairs menu instead
The room is small, barely enough for putting your luggage and walking space. Room is just basic, so don't expect too much. But location is good, located on one of the stops for airport shuttle
Stayed one night and liked it so much that I'm planning to return to this hotel tonight after visiting Kamakura. The room is spacious and the transportation is convenient
Choose this hotel if u r taking airport limo bus, it’s just located outside of the hotel. But it might takes walking distance 10 minutes+ to Shinjuku station. I stayed in Annex and it looks new
Traveling with my son, this was a very satisfying stay in Tokyo. I also stayed one night at the Washington hotel nearby, which has A and B buildings
On the first day, I couldn't find the passage, but walking along the main road from the South Exit works just as well, and it was a pleasant walk. The room was clean and not too small, which I was happy with

Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International, Tokyo1 / 30
9.2
Tokyo, Taito-ku Asakusa 2-6-7 (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is great, just a bit small. There are plenty of restaurants around, and lots of shopping and drugstores. It's bustling with people. I'll definitely stay here again next time. They also have self-service coffee.
Overall, this hotel is great for location, views, and lounge amenities, but those traveling in a group or with large luggage may find the room size a bit tight
The location is excellent ,getting to Kaminarimon and the Asakusa area is very easy and walkable. However, the room felt quite small
There are two Richmond hotels in Asakusa, and we stayed at Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International, so it’s important not to mix them up. The hotel charges a local accommodation tax
After shopping at the Uniqlo downstairs, it was very convenient to go back up and enjoy afternoon tea or a drink while taking in the view
Luggage space was limited, and it became inconvenient especially since there were three of us with three large suitcases

Hotel JAL City Tokyo Toyosu, Tokyo1 / 28

Tokyo, 6 Chome-4-20 Toyosu, Koto Ward (7 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The rooms are very spacious and well-appointed, complete with complimentary bottled water and a capsule coffee machine. It's also conveniently close to Toyosu Market and teamLab
It was a pleasant surprise to find a window in the integrated shower, which made drying clothes really easy
Very bright and clean. Convenient for getting around.
From there, you can catch two bus routes: one goes all the way to Shimbashi, and the other takes you to Ginza, so transportation is really convenient. Compared to many other hotels, the rooms here are quite spacious
Just a two or three-minute walk from the Yurikamome Line's Shijo-mae Station, this hotel feels a cut above your average JAL City property
Recommend for family trip! Very spacious hotel room. My kids enjoy the room very much! It located 5 minutes walk to metro station, very near to Lalaport, which is a very big mall for family and kids

Tokyo Marriott Hotel, Tokyo1 / 28

Tokyo, 4-7-36 Kitashinagawa (8 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It's an excellent location for access to Haneda Airport and also Tokyo's Yamanote Line and the Shinkansen network
If you’re loyal to Marriott, want a nice room, and prefer a quiet location then this hotel may suit your needs
Nice cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the evening. Great views on higher floors. Superb breakfast buffet with international specialties. Walkable from Metro and train station, but shuttle available
The bathroom is somewhat dated with an integrated bathtub shower, but the shower unit is one of the easier types to operate and the hotel delivers reasonable water pressure. The executive lounge is excellent
Unfortunately, the staff member who checked me in was misinformed about this, and incorrectly demanded that I produce ID even after being informed that I am a resident of Japan
Japanese law requires that foreign visitors present their passports during check-in, but does not require ID from Japanese nationals, or foreign nationals who live in Japan

Tokyo, Tokyo Midtown, 9-7-1 Akasaka, Minato-ku (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Centrally located in Roppongi, with a high-end Midtown shopping mall right downstairs. This area sees fewer tourists compared to Ginza and is popular among local affluent residents, with a well-developed dining scene
perfect location, wonderful service, but the hotel is getting a bit old now… could use a renovation.
I stayed here with my family of three at the end of the year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had dinner and breakfast in the room-in-dining area. It was very delicious and satisfying
Luxury and quite expensive hotel, large and comfortable room with a wonderful view of the city landscape; maybe you'd expect for that price a better breakfast buffet.
The room was spacious and comfortable for the three of us. We were able to swim and relax at our leisure. There was a jacuzzi by the pool which was very comfortable
Atop Tokyo Midtown is the epitome of luxury, the Ritz-Carlton Tokyo. The lobby waits on the 45th floor with a spacious lounge area for tea or an evening drink

The service here is truly excellent. The moment you walk into the lobby, you're struck by how spacious and clean it is, and the staff are always incredibly attentive. The location is fantastic too
Great location, right next to Tsukiji Market, just a 10-minute walk away. It's also very close to the subway, making it convenient to get to Ginza. The staff were all very friendly
The location is fantastic, with plenty of convenience stores nearby, and it's super close to Tsukiji Market. The subway station is also just a stone's throw away
The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Ginza, and the surrounding area is quiet. I had a very comfortable stay.
I thought booking a hotel in Tokyo right after cherry blossom season would be easy, but turns out there were two concerts at the Tokyo Dome that weekend! Panicked, I booked this place, and it was surprisingly good
First off, if you find the right exit, it's genuinely only 200 meters from the subway station. Plus, there are so many cute cafes and restaurants around the hotel!

Tokyo, Chuo-ku Ginza 1-13-15 (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is conveniently located near the Ginza-Itochime station on the yellow line and Tsukiji Market. If you enjoy city running, the back of the hotel is a great place to do it.
The biggest plus of this hotel is its fantastic location. It's incredibly close to Ginza's busiest shopping district and also conveniently near the subway, which is great for dropping off your purchases back at the hotel
The only thing is, don't expect too much from the 'Chinese preferred' aspect; it's just a regular hotel that accommodates foreign guests. Regardless, checking in and out was fine even without speaking English or Japanese
The only minor inconvenience was that some in-room instructions and facility guides weren't in Chinese and needed translating. Other than that, everything was pretty good
A big plus for me is the massage chair located inside our room which is nice after a long day of walking around
The room was quite spacious for Ginza, I could easily open up a large suitcase. They had a laundry room, microwave, and everything you'd need

I was there for my layover 22 hour from Thailand to the JFK. Then I decide to visit the Tokyo and resting refresh before the next trip so that's why I do choose this hotel

The hotel has an underground passage directly connecting to the Rinkai Line, and there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making the location very convenient. The scenery is also great.
Nice location, just few mins walk to B1 can access directly to Rinkai line. Also the most spacious hotel I have ever stay for this trip, receptionist is helpful to assist you if any doubt!
I was quite satisfied with my stay. The location is excellent in terms of transportation
Extremely convenient! The rooms are spacious, and it's only two subway stops to Odaiba. There are also plenty of supermarkets nearby for shopping. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Tokyo! Highly recommend!
The bristles felt like steel wool, and the head was no more than 2cm². I'd recommend bringing your own toothbrush 🙃. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again!

Hotel room looks small but can fit in 120 cm width bed and have space to open 2 large luggages. Room is not quite sound proof and can hear slightly somebody talking outside. Overall this hotel is good for location
Stay 3 nights at Akane twin room. Location is perfect very close to Tsukiji subway station. Convinience store Lawson is next to hotel and Family mart is just across hotel which make it easy to buy some snacks
The location is very convenient, especially with Tsukiji Station just a short walk away, making it easy to access the metro and move around Tokyo. It’s also a quiet area, which is nice after a long day of sightseeing
The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in/check-out was smooth. However, the hotel facilities and furnishings feel a bit old

Tokyo, 1-7-1 Higashi-Shimbashi, Minato-ku (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Wonderful hotel with top notch service, good amenities and fantastic location to catch the beauty of the Tokyo Tower and its surroundings while being right next to the station. Will definitely look to stay again
This hotel boasts an excellent location. It's just one stop to Tsukiji Market, and the Yurikamome Line to Odaiba is quick and convenient
We tried the hotel breakfast on the first day, and honestly, that was the only downside to our stay. The restaurant staff were all cold and unsmiling, a stark contrast to the welcoming lobby staff
We had a stroller, and no one guided us on where to park it; we ended up folding it ourselves and placing it next to our table. We had to specifically ask for a high chair, and no baby cutlery was provided
A side note: this hotel is very popular with Western foreigners; about 95% of guests seemed to be. We stayed for four nights in the most basic room type, which was small but perfectly adequate
There are many art pieces and exhibitions; before leaving, I bought a lucky cat for my daughter that she loved, made in Japan

There are many places with close locations so it's a mistake to check in 😊
When I went to Japan near Asakusa, I often stayed at APA. The rooms were small, but I got used to it. It was clean and the location was good! I think it would be good for those who are traveling once to visit.
The hotel was close to the subway exit and there were restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so it was very convenient. The large public bath was on the top floor and had a great view.
It was a shame that the front desk couldn't lend me a charger before I left.
It was a wonderful experience. We look forward to returning.

The location is great, close to the subway station, about a 5-7 minute walk. A highlight is the supermarket downstairs (it's a restaurant supply store, so many food items are cheap)
The location is great, very close to Ueno Zoo, art museums, museums, and science museums, as well as the JR subway station. There's a supermarket downstairs, and the breakfast is decent
Facilities: Newly built hotel, well-equipped, very new and convenient. Both the bathroom and room hygiene are excellent. Environment: The hotel is quite large with many rooms
The location is close to a lot of decent food places so you have a lot of options on where to eat
Great location, very convenient for transport. Service was mediocre though.
On the main road and super near to the Uguisudani JR line, making transportation super easy and safe. I also got a free upgrade to a double room, which was really big for Japanese standards

No apologies for the mistake first, but in the end it accepted its mistake and found out what the reason is I asked the front desk to receive the birthday flower instead of me to deliver to my friend who stayed here
The transportation is quite convenient; there's a bus stop right outside, and the tram station is about a 7-8 minute walk away. There's also a 7-Eleven and an Aeon supermarket nearby.
The location is quite far from tokyo centre. So you might need to travel quite far using the metro. The closest metro station is toyosu station which one of the exit heading to the hotel is around a 10min walk
We stayed at Hotel Monday Premium Toyosu for 3 nights. Overall, the location was convenient, with the train station about a 10-minute walk away
There's a 7/11 next to the hotel. AEON mall infront of the hotel. It's quite small like the rest of tokyo room but it is clean and facilities are brand new
