For sure, this is a place best suited for a specific clientele
The hotel stay was okay I mean it is beautiful. However, they don’t offer welcome drinks even with the high price it costs. If you are an influencer or you have a blog, you can’t fly a drone
They can’t even send you pictures or videos either. The bathtubs are dirty as they are made from mosaic and I don’t think they scrub them. It is not wheelchair friendly
The room was very comfortable, though privacy was a bit lacking. However, embracing nature and experiencing Mayan culture was incredibly artistic, and the service was excellent.
The beach was shared with other resorts and though the resort is kid-free, kids did wander into the Azulik side of the beach which caused Azulik staff to hover but not do anything
You can’t flush toilet paper as it’s an eco friendly resort. To be honest it was a waste of money I wouldn’t come here again

Has about 8 swings overlooking the pool/beach and the spicy passion fruit margaritas were SO good! We'll be back! - The location is perfect if you want to relax but still have access to everything the city has to offer within a 15 minute car ride! 100% recommended
A simply amazing hotel in a quiet, relaxing location. You can walk to the pool or beach within a minute from your room. It's incredibly quiet and peaceful with it's own little cove
Sunbeds are easy to get either by the pool or on the beach with towels always readily available. The food in the restaurant is delicious, with a good range of options - The pasta dishes are superb
Great service, great resturant, great location. Tranquil (not a scene), beautiful, and relaxing. A resort away from the party scene. No crowds a the pool, beach or
Breakfast is excellent too, with the fruit platter and bread basket a wonderful starter. The front desk team are very attentive and helpful. You get a tour of the facility on arrival, as well as welcome drinks
I must admit that I am reluctant to tell you how much I liked this hotel. I am concerned that it will become too crowded and popular. That being said, I think it is a perfect place to escape and enjoy
Small place. The beach is not the best, right next to the docks. The rooms are clean, but not as clean as they could be. It is a good option if you're in a budget.
Hotel is outdated smells terrible. Food was on not the greatest kind of bland. There is only one elevator which you had to wait forever. The shower was cold I told the front desk couple of times still cold
Many locals stay here and you get a real feel for the people. The $1 bus stops here so you do have access to everything else available. Oscar and Max were real standouts for us
I asked to check out at 12:00 on the 28th, and the lunch did not start until 1:30 pm. Although Ctrip refunded part of the fee, the entire itinerary plan was ruined and the fee was not consistent
Cute hotel on the North side of the hotel zone. Staff are excellent and you do get a home feel. The hotel is small and the staff work hard to arrange activities during the day
I should have listened to the negative reviews they are on point. Almost all the staff didn’t speak English which All that together was frustrating especially on vacation

BEST RESORT EVER. They made my stay amazing. Everyone was just so friendly to me & my guest. I will return the next time I visit Cancun. Bar worker Rafael was outstanding. Very attentive.
We had an incredible room with an incredible view for an incredible moment ! They where very kind with us as we came there to celebrate our engagement.
The only missing point is the food
Nice hotel and helpful staff, with convenient access to the beach and lovely views throughout.
The only downside was that the beach wasn’t as good and gentle as the northern ones, and when it was windy, umbrellas weren’t allowed. The buffet restaurant was also quite hot and stuffy
Rating: 10/10
Excellent all-inclusive resort in Cancun with outstanding service. We arrived early in the morning, and the staff kindly allowed us to use the buffet right away, which was a very nice and welcoming touch
On the day of departure, even though check-out was at 11 AM, they allowed us to stay on the property until 6 PM and kept our all-inclusive bracelets, so we could continue enjoying food, drinks, and the facilities

Breakfast fresh, always lots of meat dishes, as well serve fish and seafood. It is very convenient if you have early tours. The choice and quality of alcohol all too well. The beach waiters serving drinks
This was an overall nice property with nice location, beautiful beach and pools. The food truck and tacos by the pool were hits for our midday lunch/snack. The buffet always had something we could enjoy
The beach is absolutely beautiful. The food and drinks definitely not the best and service was very slow. We had a great time as a family, but I definitely expected better food quality, and better service
The pool and beach areas were beautiful and well maintained, with a very alert lifeguard who made us feel safe. The infinity pool and swim-up bars were perfect for relaxing. Entertainment, however, could be better
I recently stayed at Iberostar Selection Cancun for my friend’s wedding. The property is beautiful, with stunning ocean views and a clean, well-kept beach
Enjoyed sitting by the pool. Not a swimmer, but refreshing to just get in the pool. The staff was all very helpful and our room was maintained well while we were there.

Excellent service, beautiful rooms, great food, amazing beach and sunrise!
Clean and beautiful room, staff was great, overall clean hotel. The restaurant onsite was good. The beach was nice. Overall great place to stay
Gorgeous, well appointed rooms. Incredible, professional, helpful staff
We booked three rooms and stayed four nights
I wish we could add more stars.
We will be back again and again
The restaurant that’s part of Tago, right on the beach, was perfect for our beach days. The views were the best on the beach, hands down
My only feedback is the beach needs more umbrellas for shade and sometimes the sulphur smell on the beach is quite strong
This was our first trip to tulum, and without a doubt, if we return, we are going to tago tulum again! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, it is calm and peaceful, the rooms are stunning, very clean, and can't forget the staff too! - they are all so welcoming, attentive, friendly and helpful
Very cute hotel, close to everything. We stayed on the second floor in what looks like a newer building. They brought coffee to us every morning in a basket. The attached restaurant/beach side was soooooo good
The hotel’s location is beachfront, which is perfect for travelers. The room is well-ventilated. The only problem is the parking logistics.
Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, hotel is very unique right on the beach, breakfast and juices are wonderful. Check in process needs improvement.
I truly felt like I was catered to and all of their amenities were fantastic. Their pictures did not do the reality justice. Fantastic food with both restaurants. We are already planning our return
The entrance in the hotel is the most strange entrance that I ever seen. They provide a QR code that suposed to unlock the door and an acces turnistle. This doesn’t work at all.
Pros - Beautiful property with rooms that look like treehouses, right on beautiful sandy beach with private area with sun loungers. Rooms were clean and spacious, good WiFi and free offsite parking
Getting a chair on the beach is hard work haha so get ready to wake up early for a good spot. Plenty of room though but once you have a spot you’re best of keeping it. Food was the best in Cancun that dinning was so good
This shows a serious lack of planning, inventory control, and respect for guests’ time. At the restaurant located closer to the beach, the service was equally poor
Check in: stood in line over an hour and then stood in line another hour to get room
Room: when you have 4 people, why are the beds pushed together?? No privacy (bathroom door not full and if you turn the bathroom light on, the whole room lights up
The app never worked for us to make dining reservations
Evening shows were excellent
The hotel front desk and staff were proactive and enthusiastic, and the food was decent. Although the hotel has been living in a high-rise area for a long time, the rooms have a moldy smell and outdated facilities
During my stay at this hotel, the experience was disappointing and far below expectations. The bathroom door scraped when opening, which is a basic issue that should have been resolved with minimal maintenance
housekeeping expectations were not communicated earlier. Cleaning is done every other day, but was not communicated when we checked in.
Restuarant options are limited. But the ones that are there are good.
We had a jungle casita with a rooftop pool. The rooftop pool was a great decision, I was in it every morning and night while we were there. We were nested slightly in the jungle, a perfect distance away from the beach
Specifically, I would like to mention Santos, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. The property is quiet and tranquil, and the party on Saturday was the best time I’ve ever had! 10/10 would recommend
The only downside was the seaweed season and not being able to thoroughly enjoy the beach, which was happening at most hotels and areas along the hotel zone and you could tell the hotel still tried to make the most of it not being as appealing
Everything was amazing! It was the best of both worlds being able to walk in the Mayan jungle on property but also being right on the beach
Property is absolutely gorgeous, multiple pools overlooking the beach, great service. Jay ass super helpful during our stay!
We had a great stay at PPP! Super relaxing, great service, food, and location. We took a morning yoga class as well, which was very pleasant. All the staff were super kind and made our stay feel really special

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Ocean Spa hotel, it was clean, well kept, and safe. The ocean view was pretty but the beach was more of a harbour beach as other reviews have said, not really for swimming
Reminds me more of a family kinda place with kids. I left every meal hungry still. A little outdated but worth the money. Other thing is they should mention you can not go in the beach water at this resort which ******
Best customer service, rooms maintainly neat. Salute to Chef and kitchen, prep and servers, food is healthwise and we love it! Shout to the cool bartender, Jesus. , Enrique and Manuel on dining
We enjoy our stay, Thank you so much
My husband and I want to give a shoutout to the server Luis though as every time we went to the Frida restaurant his service was phenomenal, always taking initiative to refill drinks, giving good recommendations and working at a fast pace
Excellent service, good food, very good attention from the workers
The jungle room has a beautiful and quiet environment, with a sense of wild luxury. At night, you can see the cute raccoons walking around outside the door. The restaurant is delicious and the price is very reasonable
I had a wonderful experience and the service was above and beyond. Every staff were absolutely amazing. Special Thanks to Hannibal in the front desk and Andres for the breath work and sound journey experience
Wished we stayed here longer than the last spot we stayed at. This place is a getaway from the hustle and bustle. The staff are great and accommodating in every way. This place is heaven on earth!
Hidden paradise in the jungle .
So relaxing good food .
Thankyou Alexis -Arturo- Diego for the amazing food experience.
To be honest, this hotel would be better than the Azulik next door if you didn’t like the original ecology so much.
Bravo!
What makes Habitas special is the staff. Warm, welcoming, and accommodating on every level. Bravo!
It was our second visit, and we are still happy to come here. They even remembered us, from last time, which makes you feeling home. Everything is always nice from service thru the people.
My stay here was VERY enjoyable! The staff was so attentive, kind, respectful, humble, and simply amazing. I was a little nervous traveling alone as a woman, but this place made me feel safe and I loved my time there
Great location. Spacious, clean rooms (not ocean view—those rooms are quite small). Friendly staff, but slow service and often inaccurate (food and beverage). Good value.
Had a great time, has a little gym which was a nice surprise, and a little kids play area on the beach. Service was excellent, highly recommend Wiliam our server at breakfast
We had breakfast, lunch and ordered food at the beach. The quality was middle of the road but at Miami prices
We ended paying $125 for lunch for the two of us and a drink at the beach is $17-18 for unremarkable, water down cocktails
We will be back soon! Definitely recommend all of the restaurants and all inclusive package if you like to drink a lot! We are not big drinkers and don’t eat a ton so we could’ve gone without but it was still great to be able to eat whenever! Staff is so friendly here! Be ready to tip heavy because they are all well deserving! 😉
Dao restaurant is fabulous, our waiter Geraldo there made us feel like royalty. The new restaurant at Mussai ( the NOI) was absolutely delicious. Been here a few times and the entertainment just gets better
We'll be back soon! I definitely recommend all the restaurants and the all-inclusive package if you like to drink a lot! We're not big drinkers and don't eat a ton, so we could have done without, but it was still great to be able to eat whenever we wanted! The staff is so friendly! Be prepared to tip big, because they all deserve it! 😉
We had to extend our stay due to weather and the staff was extremely accommodating to multiple updates and changes, ensuring we had a room and accommodations, and the General Manager was extremely attentive to fix an issue I had, incliding following up after we left in an above and beyond way
So we agreed and were welcomed by the most accommodating, sincerest, graceful, make us feel like VIP staff we've ever experienced. The property was immaculate, the smell, the atmosphere the decoration, etc
We had a great time at Garza Blanca Cancun. The restaurants are terrific, especially Bocados and Hiroshi, the pools are spacious and warm, and the rooms are well appointed

Tulum Beach - 5 km
The Beach Hotel is an adult-only private resort. The service provided by both the hotel and restaurant staff was excellent. The crew worked hard every morning to clear the sand of seaweed
Beautiful hotel! It’s literally on the beach. All the floors are sand except the rooms and the lobby area. All the rooms have a view of the beach and easy access to the beach
The Beach Tulum Hotel is fantastic, it is super clean, the staff is absolutely superb and they go out of their way to help you
Would definitely return to this place. The rooms are well appointed and luxurious. The beach clean and looked after, and the hotel perfectly placed right on the beach. The breakfasts are incredible
Loved the staff and property itself. Our room and conditions were amazing. Only downside was the seaweed issue on the beach front - other wise beautiful stay.
Our private dip pool, patio, and beach lounge were clean and relaxing. We couldn't have asked for a more tranquil place
Cancun, Boulevard Kukulcán km 20.5 Lote 65-A,Boulevard Kukulcán 🧭 Map
The general quality of the hotel is good, the swimming pool is very pleasant with the pool bar and the access to the beach is immediate, very appreciable and beautiful
This place is absolutely amazing!! Staff are incredible!! This is the best hotel I've stayed in by far. The view of the ocean is breathtaking. The spinach juice in the morning is to die for and the place is spotless
Definitely recommend this place. It's only 12 minutes from the airport, there's an amazing Mexican restaurant across the street as well as a grocery store that sells hot food, alcohol, ECT
Also my tour was only an hour ride from the hotel. Also there are buses and taxis you can grab right outside so transportation is easy
If you are a family of more than 6 people expect to have problems eating all together. We were 8 then 10 and we were refused many times at the restaurant, having to wait for places to become available
Every time you take a drink or eat something you have to give the room number, name and signature. This is really annoying in all inclusive where the consumptions are often many
Stayed in Room 1 which was gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was solid. Be aware that the walls are VERY thin and this is NOT a party place.
Service was impeccable! Will be returning to this property for sure!
Staff was great :) we were able to walk and ride the bikes that were provided to go to various spots around the hotel!
Incredible experience through and through.
Such a great place and location to enjoy the quiet side of Tulum beach and venture off to the party if desired. Food and drinks were great, service was great and the facilities were great.
Dear La Valise Team,
We were very much looking forward to our stay at your beautiful property, and while we truly appreciated the unique design and overall atmosphere, I wanted to share a few disappointments that impacted our experience
The people/service are fantastic. Great location for diving/snorkeling/diving. Clean, great food at their resaurant with close proximity to other choices. Breakfast included which is also wonderful
We had a really lovely stay here for the last couple of days of our trip to Mexico. The hotel is peaceful and quiet, with a gorgeous view, good-sized rooms and very comfortable beds
It is a little dated in places, but overall it is very comfortable and the property itself is beautiful. The private beach and dock area are perfect, and the two pools were a real highlight
Service at the restaurant can be a bit slow and it is fairly expensive compared with other local options, but the staff are genuinely kind and helpful
This hotel was a beautiful, quiet oasis. The staff was wonderful, our bed was super comfortable and it felt more like a private condo than a hotel
Some of the staff was nice to us but
We didn’t get to swim as the beach was rocky and it was windy
The room I booked was on a two-story building, and there was a very steep and narrow staircase right at the entrance, which was very inconvenient. The hygiene was poor; there were dead insects on the sheets
The downsides are that a 2000 peso deposit is required at check-in, and upon check-out, the front desk has to check the room! They only refund the money after everything is in order
In addition, the male staff on the night shift at the front desk was not familiar with the business, so I paid 200 pesos more for the room and could not refund it because I had just finished swimming and the access card was invalid and I could not enter the room
We arrived at night, and in the morning we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful, vibrant colors and the stunning view from the balcony. It was truly a lovely experience.
The environment here is really great. It has its own beach and swimming pool. The beach is very clean, the beach chairs have plenty of sunshades, and there is also its own infinity pool
The towels and bath towels were washed gray and frayed, and they were very old. I checked the sheets on the first day of check-in. There was no hair, but there was a black spot that was washed out
A Hidden Gem in Tulum – Pure Relaxation
Alea Tulum is an absolute dream. From the moment you arrive, the peaceful atmosphere and stunning beachfront set the tone for a perfect stay
The pool and beach areas are serene and never overcrowded, offering the perfect balance of luxury and tranquility
The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully styled with natural details that blend perfectly with the surroundings. Waking up to ocean views and the sound of the waves was unforgettable
The hotel is beautifully designed — boutique, intimate, and surrounded by nature — making it ideal for anyone looking to unwind and disconnect
The staff truly makes this place special — kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything you need
Whether you’re enjoying breakfast with an ocean view, relaxing by the infinity pool, or watching the sunrise over the water, every moment at Alea feels peaceful and restorative
So I enjoyed our stay with kore everyone was very nice to us helped us with everything we needed
The staff was really friendly I walked into the kitchen at close and was going to get food somewhere else but they sat me and my fiancée down and made us a Togo dinner and don’t be afraid of renting a scooter and exploring tulum it’s very safe just be respectful
It’s less people so enjoy the quiet. You will have the pool to yourself and the restaurants too. That comes with its own issues, less variety in some instances. But the bigger pla
This place was cool 15 years ago, and hasn’t been updated. Our room seemed like it was falling apart, cracked walls, stained sheets and robes. Food was overly processed, drinks were bottom shelf
Only one dinning option, the staff is nice but not helpful (our phone didn’t work and nobody ever came to fix it) there are worn down areas, but it was very quiet and we did love that
Every treadmill in the gym is broken, and some other machines barely function—again, a clear lack of upkeep. All four outdoor jacuzzis were lukewarm at best, not properly heated
