INNSiDE by Meliá Wave Calviá in Magaluf

We had a brilliant stay at INNSiDE Hotel Wave in Palma in July 2025. A small group of us visited to celebrate a close friend’s 50th birthday, and the entire experience exceeded expectations. The hotel is modern, beautifully clean, and calm, and its location directly opposite the beach couldn’t be more perfect. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Ousmane greeted us so warmly, setting the tone for our stay, and we had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Gonzales, the hotel manager, whose professionalism and attention to detail truly stood out. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh, delicious options. We also enjoyed the relaxing spaces throughout the hotel — perfect for unwinding. Being so close to local shops, restaurants, and nightlife made everything super convenient. This hotel is a gem — perfectly situated for both relaxation and fun, and run by a team that genuinely cares. Highly recommended!

Just checked out of the inside wave calvia and we are already missing it! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and in a great location. The swimming pool is great and overall the hotel really has that luxury feel. The hotel staff are soo welcoming and helpful. Our favourite member was Ismael who was super friendly and polite, an absolute standout member of the team. The beach out the front of the hotel is absolutely stunning with turquoise waters. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommended and would like to return.

Hotel was very clean. Rooms were excellent best beds we have slept on abroad and room was large. We had a side seat view. Breakfast was typical Spanish style and only ate there twice mostly salad as wasn’t keen on the rest. Could not ask for a better location and never had an issues getting a sun bed or a Bali lounger Would definitely recommend for couples. Pool was too cold for me sea was warmer Shame they don’t do evening meals as they have a great space to do so. However best eatery next door

I stayed here for a girls trip for 2 nights over a weekend. I was a little concerned after reading the reviews of the hotel but don't be! We had a large room with fab air con and a kitchen area and plenty of storage space. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sunbeds and nobody reserving them at silly clock in the morning! You get a ticket to get beach towels from the hotel and these can be changed during your stay. The pool is small but lovely looking onto the beach. The main sunbeds are free. Within the grounds of the hotel is a separate beach club which is adults only with reasonable prices and another pool with it's own bar. The breakfast was fantastic and my friend was gluten free. They made sure she had food to suit her and Bbrought her out bread and muffins on both days. The reception staff were all fantastic, letting us use a shower room before our flight home and made out late night check in smooth and easy. The hotel is located very close to all amenities and a lovely beach in Magaluf. DONT let this put you off! The beach front was lovely and the area has definitely had a face lift in recent times. Overall I would recommend for couples and friends. Thank you and we would love to return!

I stayed for 6 nights there and I enojoyed my stay very much. I was travelling with my young (14 years) old cousins. The hotel is located in 'party' area and despite this, I found the accomodation quiet during night and familiy friendly which was my main worry. There are not many accomodations with direct beach access which is a big plus for this hotel. Above all, I found all the staff at the hotel very helpful. James and Xevi are the two names I remember although everyone was excetionally friendly.

My stay at the hotel was very nice. Generally, I liked everything about the hotel, and I don’t really have any big negatives to mention. The hotel is located a little away from Palma city, in a cute little village. You’d want to stay at this place if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation near the beach and enjoy nature. There are a few nightclubs and bars in the village for some fun and partying, but overall, I found the area pretty quiet. If you need to get to Palma, you can take a bus - the bus station is about a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and it takes around 40 minutes to get to Palma, depending on traffic, which can be heavy at times, making the trip closer to an hour. I also used Uber a few times, and one-way rides cost between €19-28, depending on the time of day, traffic, and the part of Palma you’re heading to. The hotel is located right next to the beach. It has a very nice rooftop area on the lobby level (2nd floor if I remember correctly) with a swimming pool and plenty of sun chairs. There’s also a bar next to the pool for drinks. My check-in process was easy and smooth. Before arrival, I requested a room on a high floor with a nice view, and I got exactly what I wanted. Plus, I was allowed to check in early, around 1 p.m. My Loft Junior Suite with Sea View (#521) was very nice and modern looking - I absolutely loved its design. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. All the furniture was in great condition. I loved the big balcony windows that let in plenty of daylight. Having a small balcony was a plus - I enjoyed sitting out there and admiring the beautiful sea view. The hotel provided beach amenities like a beach mattress and towels, and I absolutely loved the cute, comfortable slippers they provided as well. Having a small kitchen was another plus. It had all the necessary amenities, and the refrigerator was pretty big, fitting a lot of stuff inside. The closet was a bit small, and I didn’t really like its location in the kitchen corner. The bed (two Queen beds together) was comfortable, but the sofa was hard and awful - I didn’t even like sitting on it for long periods. The bathroom was quite big, and I liked its design a lot. The bathroom amenities were of very good quality. But I must mention that the water pressure in the shower and toilet wasn’t very strong. The Wi-Fi worked well in my room, but I had a weak connection in many other parts of the hotel. As for the downsides, the biggest issue for me was the annoying housekeeping staff who came into my room once, even though I had a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on. Their excuse was that they needed to change the table on the balcony, but I ended up with the exact same table. Weird! Another annoyance was some kind of furniture moving or renovation work happening during my stay. Every day workers were using the elevators to move things, which meant the elevators were full, and I had to wait a long time to get one. A few times, I had to take the stairs instead. On the po

We have recently returned from 4 nights at this hotel. We are 2 families with young babies (both under 1 ). Before we were due to go out we read a few of the reviews and it worried us to say the least so thought I would leave a review with what we thought about our stay. Food We found the food to be lovely. At breakfast there was plenty of choice and everything seemed fresh. I also told one of the staff about me having a milk allergy and the chef made me some bread without milk. I thought this was great as many places are not as accommodating. We also had a few pizzas, wings and fries round the pool which were all lovely too. Pool After reading a few reviews about them charging 100euros per day for a lounger we were a little worried. But we found that the free loungers were so close and just 5 steps up to the pool which we didn’t mind (maybe because we had young babies so they could only come in with us anyways). Also after the first day we realised it was 100 euros min spend on the loungers round the pool. Which we would have spent the day before on food and drink anyways so wasn’t as bad as we thought. Room Rooms are lovely. Light airy and cleaned daily. We found the slippers and daily pool towels handy too. Nightlife The nightlife of magaluf ***** is what worried us the most as when we first booked we don’t realise how close it was. Maybe it was because we went mon-fri but we had no bother apart from the last night where there were a few loud noises from people getting back from a night out around 2am. It seemed pretty quiet other than that. Overall I thought it was a great hotel in a great location. Magaluf have some lovely restaurants and bars along the beach and just a short walk to palma nova too. We are already thinking of going back.

Just got back from a weeks stay here. Hotel was lovely from start to finish. The reception staff were really friendly, helpful and kind. Any thing you needed they helped with straight away. Hotel is right on the beach and has a restaurant called Hadleys with a clothes shop and wave machine. The restaurant bar was a bit pricey and there are a lot of bars and restaurants that are much cheaper, as well as shops outside hotel are more expensive and there is a Aldi that’s a 5 minute walk. There were some works going on but nothing that was in anyone’s way or caused a disturbance The hotel was very clean and rooms cleaned daily by the lovely ladies, again very friendly! There are 2 pools, infinity and oasis We found oasis pool quite dangerous and saw a few people get cuts and scratches as the whole of it is like a gravel. Huge sun lounging area and sunbed drinks service. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend it’s for solos, friends or family’s. Would definitely stay here again
