    Brutally honest review. Was not informed I had to check in online so late at night was trying to do this. Reception is NOT 24 hours. No one ever there , went 4 times every day to get wifi which has to be paid for, but reception always locked. When intercom buzzed rude woman on other end refusing to come to reception...Even left a single female standing outside because she was half an hour too early and rudely told her to come back. Room smelt of damp. mould on bathroom ceiling cannot call it a bathroom its a cupboard with a shower and toilet. Very basic room which is what i expected, what i didn't expect were the paper thin walls and floors. Majority of people live there and do not care about making chair scraping noise, music shouting or banging around above and beside you. Please stay here if all you need is somewhere to (try to ) sleep... i personally would stay elsewhere plenty of other options around and by the time we went out and bought breakfast everyday we could've stayed in a 4* for the same price with breakfast included. Definitely will not stay here again...

    The location was the best thing woman in reception rude gave us a key we unpacked only for another couple to turn up and demand it’s there room so had to move room was horrid no kettle damp and mouldy bathroom stink of sewage reported it to be told it’s not as no smell nothing got done about it light in lift never worked and didn’t feel safe at night with no lights on landing wouldn’t advice anyone to stay hear

    We ended up leaving the accommodation as it wasn’t safe for my child. Water was coming in the room and he slipped over because of this. The sheets were stained, furniture marked and scuffed

    Basic hostel
    Very very basic stay, but that was expected from price. Location is super good beach is very close (its second line hotel) lot of shops and restaurants around. Room was clean, they change towels once in 3 days and clean room and change linen once in 6 days. As I say super basic room, but perfectly fine for budget stay.

    Great location. Aircon wasn’t very good and leaked over the bed one day so it was soaking wet.

    The property is good, but the staff is bad.
    I went during February half term holiday with the kids as prices are more affordable. Unfortunately most of the Restaurants around were closed being off season.
    The distance from the sea is 1 min by walk so it is perfect. The studio was nice, but would have preferred a proper double bed instead of the sofa bed as it was a bit uncomfortable.
    The lady at the Reception was terrible. Here on the app it says that check in time is from 2pm, we arrived at the property at 1.30pm and there was nobody and the door to the Reception was closed. We rang the bell few times and nobody answered. There was a notice board saying that the Reception is closed from 2pm to 3pm and to ring the bell if needed.
    Still at 1.30 there was nobody.
    We tried again at 2.30pm and a lady answered the intercom saying in a rude english that the Reception will open at 3pm and hang up.
    We had to wait with two kids under 9 at a nearby park.
    At 3pm we went and the lady was not very welcoming, almost looked tired or not happy to be there. She gave us the keys after explaining in rush the where was our entrance.
    In the room we found just two pairs of cushions and one single duvet and two single lightweight blanket.
    I did not want to go and ask for more duvet as she seemed so disturbed.
    Check out is from 11am but again nobody was there so we left the keys in the letter box.

    I reserved and fully paid for 13 nights at Las Palomas Apartments Econotels in mid-August 2024, paying extra to allow for cancellation up until shortly before our trip. The night before our trip (just after the cancellation deadline), my wife had severe pains in her chest and was admitted to a hospital emergency room where she spent the night. As a result, our trip was cancelled, and she is not allowed to travel for several months. I immediately contacted Las Palomas Apartments Econotels to inform them that we would not be able to use the room and asking for an exception – that they accept to refund us in part or in whole, or at least consider giving us credit for a future stay. I provided them with documentation from the emergency room proving that this was due to a serious medical emergency. Las Palomas has refused to make any exception, and their consumer service people were, to put it nicely, brusk – showing no empathy whatsoever with our situation - unlike the 2 other hotels we had reserved. Note that they are currently sold out - it would be easy to sell the room to others (and I suspect that they have done so in any case). We would not consider returning to this hotel and would recommend that others consider looking elsewhere for their trips to Mallorca.

    This hotel is a perfect location, so close to the beach and the restaurants. We had the sea view room and the view did not disappoint us for the price we paid! The reception staff was really lovely and helpful. At night, the build was very spooky as it is an out dated building with no lights along the corridor. The room were clean only issue is the walls are so thin! We couldn’t sleep for three nights due to the neighbouring room antics… The pool lady was quite rude.

    Very close to beach, and restaurants, we loved it, its the quieter part of torremolinos, town centre is a short bus ride away or a walk along the prom.
    This place is much better than adjoining benalmedena. And certainly better than the next resort down, who's nate escapes me,
