Hotel Macià Monasterio de Los Basilios, Granada1 / 30Offer
8.6
Andalusia, Granada, P.º de los Basilios, 2, Genil 🧭 Map
Brilliant location, close to all interesting sites.  Only disappointment was the cooked breakfast I.e scrambled eggs/bacon etc were not very warm, which was a shame because there was plenty of it.  Everything else was great.
This hotel is a converted monastery, so it might be a bit old, but it has a really great atmosphere! The staff at the front desk were also very friendly! The only downside is that the parking lot is a bit far; you have to walk for about 10 minutes with your luggage 😅 If you're staying here, I suggest getting out of your car on the main road in front of the entrance to drop off your luggage first, because...
Rooms are nice but a bit on the small side. Located next to elementary school, so noise can be an issue. Overall good, not great.
The hotel is housed in a former monastery; the complex includes a church with an active congregation, and next to it, on the same grounds, is a school with various sports facilities used daily by the school and presumably also by clubs – yet there was no significant noise disturbance, neither in the mornings nor in the evenings. The hotel building's interior has been rather blandly renovated, and the...
I highly recommend this place for its friendly service and excellent value. However, please note one essential point and one drawback. The essential point is that you must book a room with a terrace to fully appreciate its charm. The drawback, of course, only applies to those traveling by car: there's no parking. There's a good parking spot within five minutes, but as of November 2025, it costs 24...
Great Location! Nice but small rooms with modern showers. Don’t expect to be greeted with open arms. At dinner, they ignored me and fed everyone but me. I waited for 40 minutes then became furious when I had to flag down a waiter who had like 100 people to tend too. I stormed out. Eat elsewhere. Many bars and restaurants on the main road with great food.

I stayed at Hotel Nerja Club & Spa for 5 nights as part of a package holiday with easyJet, and overall I had a really enjoyable experience that I’d happily recommend to others looking for a relaxed Spanish getaway. The location worked really well for me. Nerja itself has such a charming, small-town village feel which is so peaceful, scenic, and a refreshing contrast to somewhere busier like Málaga...
Ok so I have given this hotel a 3 out of 5 because i am trying to be fair. It is a budget hotel and you therefore need to have realistic expectations. For example, the hotel itself is a little tired and needs updating and the gym equipment is poor quality, but it is clean. The reception staff were all first class. Very helpful and very friendly. The hotel is a little out from the main village but...
Overall, our stay was okay, some good ,some not so good. Our room had lovely sea view, from the balcony and was clean, but in need of some updating, particularly in the bathroom. The pool area was quite nice. Our biggest disappointment was the food, particularly breakfast.
We arrived on 28th December, in the rain, early afternoon. The front of the hotel is a little disappointing on arrival. There was a queue of people all arriving at reception, our room was the only one ready. The receptionist said “Arh, you have a special room” We’d booked & paid extra via easy jet, for this room. 4th floor (406) at the back of the hotel. It was large, with a good size bathroom...

The location of the hotel is not very convenient. You have to take Uber to go out. There is no supermarket around the hotel. It is not convenient to walk for more than 30 minutes to find a supermarket. The hotel staff handles things differently. It should be inconsistent. The room was very small… everything else was perfect.
I liked the hotel, everything was clean and comfortable. I will recommend it to my friends.
The hotel is very cost-effective, the rooms are large, and the oversized bathtub and bathroom really bring a super good experience There is a very popular bar downstairs in the hotel, and the hotel's own restaurant is really delicious. Just close your eyes and everything is really delicious There is also a super large swimming pool on the first floor of the hotel. If you have enough time, you can...
Staff was friendly and warm, service was good, hotel was nice and clean, it’s just the location was poor, you have to either take bus or taxis to the city centre. Otherwise a good place to have a couple of days.

I had seaview and balcony The garden is lovely and the staff is so helpful and gentle Unfortunately the breakfastroom is downstairs and very noisy, not so nice The breakfast was very good I had a lovely visit at the hotel
Amazing view from our balcony on the 5th floor overlooking the beach. The beds and pillows were super comfortable and TV had multitude of channels including British ones like BBC, ITV, C4 and film four. Really well.located for the beach and the pool area is nice too with a welcoming pool to cool off. Breakfast was okay and overall a great find.
This hotel is really good. We had two separated bedrooms. The breakfast options and dinner options were really big and really good. The personal is amazing and friendly! :-) The only point is the door in the bathroom you can´t lock yourself in and the handle were almost broken.
Overall not bad value for money but this seemed more like peoples homes than a hotel. Very noisy, hardly slept with the shouting , dogs barking from balcony’s at 1.30am and people shouting passing our door and then everyone is up at 7 am. Not relaxing but if you don’t need much sleep your fine. Pool area is dated, the grass gets watered every morning so it’s muddy. Great location though and the rooms...
Beach across the street, pool inside the hotel, good location near the pedestrian alley Bar on the top Only no light in the room, just some poor blue lamp And water in shower was not getting warm long Also, shower curtain needs to be changed Breakfast was so so, and I had the feeling it’s not so clean in a breakfast area
Very strategic location of the hotel (near the beach, around restaurants, tourist shops and also scooter rental). We were there for a week, accommodation was fine, we had a suite by the pool, so very close. breakfast was so monotonous during those days that I didn't know what to have anymore and the coffee machines often went wrong, so that was the only big minus. Room and property were very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
Ants everywhere in the room. There is no coffee, any cooking possibilities, nor restaurant available. Brekfast was quite nice though. Muurahaisia huoneessa, mistään ei saa kahvia ja sijainti aika kaukana. Aamiainen oli aika hyvä.nähtävyyksistä.
Nice and clean room. Great staff Nice breakfast brunch The only down side, the smell of the carpet on our floor.

Wonderful hotel next to the Cordoba Mosque-Cathedral. The room was spacious and spotless. The staff were really helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel.
Location: Great location right next to Mezquita Cathedral. Room: Satisfied with the bathtub and large bed, but there is some noise at night due to nearby restaurants and tourists. Breakfast: A good variety of food and plenty of tables available.
Hotel Eurostars Maimonides in Cordoba is a truly beautiful and charming boutique-style hotel. If you are staying in Cordoba, and going to do any of the historical tours, you can't beat this location. It is across the street from thr Mosque/Cathedral of Cordoba. Stayed here as I had to. Otherwise no way I would. But never again. Really poorly maintained. Paint off walls. Shower dripping only.
Great location it’s a well used basic hotel👍
The service was very friendly and helpful, the location was perfect, the truth is that we were very comfortable, we would repeat without problems
Excellent location in the center of Torremolinos. Hotel rooms are simple but clean and have good air conditioning. The bathroom is dated but fine. Towels are also a bit worn. Nice view of the square if you have a room with a balcony. The balcony is small, though.
Fab location and very friendly, helpful staff. No sunlight in in my room just the industrial fun noise… from the wall against next door building. sheets were all over the beds once you’ve moved. We’ve change them but the same story happened again. Huge room - we danced there 🤪 rather bare and empty but specious. Good deal for the price if you want to crush in the heart of the centre ☺️

Really nice people at reception, they really are helpful and genuenily kind, the hotel visibly renewed just one minute from Einstein square. Plenty of parking but you have to pay I strongly recommend the app teleparking to make things easy.
A very good experience. This is our second time here. We're particularly pleased with the cleanliness, the comfortable room, and the good location. We liked the room a little more last time, but this one wasn't bad. We'll definitely be back.
This hotel was a perfect place to rest. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the overall service was excellent. The room was spotless, very comfortable, and well-prepared. The price was also very competitive.

Great hotel, very well located to the centre of Málaga - 10 minutes walk to the beach and the centre / train station. Lovely pool area and room with great sea views. Staff are very welcoming. A great introduction to the area.
Booked the Hotel Natursun for New Years Eve at the last minute! After reading some of the awful reviews on here, I can’t believe we stopped at the same place! What a delight!!! Was a little worried after reading other reviews but was genuinely happy with the hotel. Rooms are a little dated but very clean. Daily room service with daily towel change. Peaceful location but not too far away from shops bars and restaurants. Absolutely stunning views of the Ocean
Checked in by Leo who was friendly. Room 3rd floor with a balcony and sea view was small but sufficient. Bathroom was small with sliding frosted door. Shower was a rain shower and was ideal. This hotel needs some modernization, it's best days has been a long time ago... But nevertheless it's a very good place to stay. It's location was awesome. The service/night watch was kind, parking was super. The room/hotel was clean and pretty silent. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Eliseos.
Had 4 days here and was very impressed. Basic and a little dated but perfectly functional and clean. Service with a smile throughout. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Wifi was fine and found the bed comfortable. Great location as well. Would fully recommend and come back again. I was here for Málaga marathon and my stay here made for a lovely weekend.
This was a great basic hotel. The room was clean, although our view was to the back of the building across, so we kept our drapes closed and we couldn't use the balcony. The location is excellent, close to the beach and an easy walk to the old city centre. The staff was super helpful and polite.
The hotel is old but super clean. Very impressive for the work of the housekeeper team. The location was good. Miss Eliana from the reception was so friendly. Good value Room was good size, bed was good and we had a nice stay but a pity there was no tea/coffee facility in the room. The restaurant was always closed when we wanted to use it. The staff were helpful. The car park is very tight to get large cars in the bays.
