Great location, seaside hotel, great view, Spanish breakfast is also good

I would recommend this hotel and easily stay here again! Quick summary - Pros: Amazing location, friendly staff, very clean, very safe, nightly entertainment, breakfast buffet is included (this was a surprise to us), great masseuse, walkable to shopping areas and beach restaurants, lounge/beachfront restaurant with nightly entertainment on-site, free municipal parking within walking distance

The pool area is also in need of some TLC. Staff at reception, house keeping and buffets were friendly and welcoming, all except an older male who I assume was the manager of the dining areas

The pool area looks great, but they keep it under lock and key, so access is limited. The terrace is very comfortable and in a location that should attract a crowd, but it was always empty

Great little hotel by the sea! We stayed for six nights in September. We chose this hotel for the location. As Americans who speak limited Spanish, they could not have been more gracious

Only improvers would be Nespresso machine in room and glass of Cava at breakfast. Sometimes a little bit of a wait for the lifts around peak breakfast times

Not normally a part of the city I stay but enjoyed the change and the chance to walk along the long promenade daily (10 mins from hotel on foot)

A tiny beach and sometimes might be a bit dirty but the swimming pools do their work. Entertainment for the kids and adults and plenty of activities to do just complete a lovely stay

Great place for a family visit with small children

Brilliant holiday hear only down side is the nearest town is 1.6k away. it's a small town with few shops. Train in to salou and port aventura is €27.90 for 3 passengers. But worth the commute for a good day out

good value for money if it's not too busy. nice staff but only the buffet was available in the evening and if you want a light supper it's a long walk to town.

Nice place to stay with the kids and the family. Overall quality Vs prices are fair, food is good and the buffet let you eat as much as you want

Great place to stay?the beach is less than 100 metres from the hotel. Beach and sea lovely, clean coarse sand,amazing clear blue sea. There are rental chairs and umbrellas-each position is 6 euros

Anyone moaning about that really needs to get a life and ask yourself how many staff at English hotels can speak Spanish!! If you want all the staff to speak English, why not go on holiday to Blackpool?!! Bedding changed every 3 days, towels every day. Shampoo and shower gel daily new. We took Breakfast and dinner, the kitchen is beautiful, lots of fruit. the beach has a shower with fresh water

We enjoyed our stay here this summer. It was so close to the beach and being joined with the hotel over the road meant you had double the amount of activities to choose from if you wanted that

You also had pools at both hotels - outdoors at both and another indoors - not that we wanted that one in August!!! The hotel staff were lovely. Some spoke English, others didn't but it wasn't a problem

The hotel is walking distance to the beach and best restaurants in town. Tha town is very safe at every hours of night and day. Overall, it was a perfect holiday

Small but clean and comfortable room. Cleaned daily. Great front desk service, breakfast. Short cab ride to the beaches or walk.

50€ for breakfast and 15€ for lunch/ dinner per person if they aren't included in your reservation. I really missed the scrambled eggs during the breakfast. Despite of these small nuances, still giving 5 stars

The only downside is the artificial grass in pool area which was dirty and unpleasant To walk on. The sun loungers need replacement as well. My son loved the kids club tho

Showering was difficult, because I had to pay attention to not overflow the whole wetroom with water. This was the point of my disappointment. The hotel it's well located, but in a more quiet area

A pleasant stay We stayed 6 nights as a family. The personel was helpful and kind. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious

But not cheap if you travel ex-package. Only downside was pricey unsecured parking. Fantastic location, just by the sea

We had a brilliant stay at Hotel Blaumar in Salou. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean, which made for a really comfortable stay

We travelled with a 2 year old, the hotel kids swimming pool was very shallow, what gave us a lot of peace of mind, we are dairy intollerant and the breakfast was fully well stocked with Oats milk, dairy free and Soya milk options

Nicely laid out and well oriented, with nice spacious rooms, but please note I took the suite option with balcony terrace, so please check your room choice. Buffet wasn't just varied, it was well presented and prepared

We stayed at Hotel Best Sol d’or on the 21st September for 10 nights as a family of 4 plus my mum! We were quite worried after reading some bad reviews but honestly we need not have worried at all! The hotel is beautiful, really nicely decorated and we found everything to be really clean

The pool and slides were fantastic… we had such great fun (even the adults!). Lilo’s weren’t allowed but they did allow small inflatable hoops

Snacks for all inclusive consist of cheese and ham or plain cheese toasty, chips, crisps, hotdog, burger, ice creams and nuts! The pool bar staff were amazing! Please ignore reviews saying otherwise… if you’re nice and polite to them then they will be the same back and vice versa! Some of the reviews mentioning lots of children surprised me as the hotel has a swimming pool specifically designed for young kids, so it’s naturally popular with families and there is the expected level of lively, happy noise that comes with that

There were always sun beds whatever time of the day you went down. Also a great location as an absolutely delightful beach is about one minutes walk away

The food was good with a decent variety, which worked well for both adults and children. Snacks available at the bar under the all-inclusive package were a bit limited, but still perfectly fine overall

We loved the pool area. It had 2 different pools - one for kids and a bigger one for swimming. A bit dissapointed about the breakfast as you would expect a bigger variety at a 5 star hotel

Lovely thick towels and dressing gown. Staff very nice esp Timothy who got me coffee at 6am! Food lovely. Girls didn't have firmness in fingers. lovely soft cushions at the pool

Hotel is up on the hill so it was a bit of an issue going there and back to town/beach but we got used to it, car would be a good option there. It was about 10 minute walk to the beach and promenade

On the beach front with everything you need on your doorstep. Not enough loungers at the pool but the beach is across the road. Cleaned every other day and reception staff friendly and welcoming

I spent a few hours at the hotel for a business reception and was very impressed. Just a few minutes outside of the city, it feels like a countryside resort. The food was truly excellent, and the variety impressive

Pool delightful but building a sauna at the moment, so not peaceful, beautiful, never the less. Food here is some of the best I have ever tasted, and I am a worldwide traveller, compliments to your chefs

It's close to town but just further enough away to be away from the hussle and bussle. The cable cart from the beach stops at the hotel. The staff couldn't be more helpful and Daniel went above and beyond

Just stayed at this hotel from 17th to 20th of April 2025. The hotel lobby, lounge and pool were in great condition. The room (320) was clean and reasonably modern but the bed was very uncomfortable

She was particularly rude to my 7 year old granddaughter who had damp shorts on, she actually tugged at them and then in a very aggressive manner told us to go and change them

My granddaughter was scared of this lady afterthat incident, and this was unacceptable. One final thing, the food was very poor quality, it was like canteen food

The big issue I had with this hotel was the staff. They did not look happy and were particularly rude, bordering on aggressive towards the English

From the photos it looked a bit old-fashioned, but in reality it has real character. The rooms are modernized and well kept, and the outdoor area with the pool is beautiful

You can see the beach from the balcony near the pool, bad if you'd like to walk around the beach side because it would take 15-20mins of walking Cons: breakfast was so expensive lol 17 euros per person and we had breakfast during our whole stay and it was all the same :// they don't change anything, not even add anything so if I were you, just skip the breakfast here

We were pleasantly surprised by this charming hotel. It’s in a great location on a hill, easy to reach by car, and much more grand than we expected, felt a bit like a hacienda

We stayed for 4 days and three nights. Pros: looks good and is relatively clean, location would be considered great if you like to be a bit far from the road

A great night, perfect location, spotless hotel

The pool area was clean with plenty of beds, tables and chairs. There was an additional sun deck on the upper level with further loungers and the double bed style ones as well

We didn’t do the spa but the indoor pool and spa facilities looked good. Drinks were cheap €3 a decent size wine, the snacks were fresh and very reasonably priced

Rooms are modern and spotless. The bed was comfy and the huge walk in shower was powerful and always hot. There was a small fridge but no kettle which didn’t matter as we took our own travel one

A large tv had some English channels but didn’t check how many. We had a quiet road view, sitting on the balcony was very pleasant. Housekeeping was every day, friendly efficient service

Great accommodation , the view is breathtaking the staff is kind and helpful. The housekeeper Mihaela on the 3rd floor has exceeded expectations! Delighted with the room keeping.

A lot of people, very busy but somehow that managed to keep the buffet food quality to a good level and the service of dining room staff excellent for the environment. Very noisy with so many people though

Only problem I had was that our cards kept resetting, they wouldn't get us into the room, I had to go down multiple times to get them reset, this was quite frustrating

Hotel close to train station , if you will have a room with seeview you will have also train into your room .

The location was good, right on the beach and public transport was really accessible. The tourism office was less than ten minutes walk away

There's a roof top pool with small bar, a small pool by the accessible lift , plus the main pool with a terrace area. Hotel also has a snack bar opposite the main pool

The hotel itself is beautiful and can highly recommend all pools but our favourites were the enclosed one on the back/North side and the roof pool and bar area. Really can't recommend it enough

Stayed for a week with my wife last week of September for the 1st time and it will absolutely not be the last. Slept better than I have in ages. Prices in the bars were excellent as was the service at all points

At breakfast and evening meal there was plenty of choice and it was lovely. 30pm and there was hardly ever any queue. When there was it went down really quickly

The property has three pools with plenty of space for everyone, and the rooms were very comfortable as well

The only weak point was the check-in process, limited by the PMS system in use, which reduces flexibility. The location is excellent, close to everything. We came by car but barely needed it
