Hotels near sea shore in Catalonia

We were worried about space before coming, but the bar and restaurant areas are bigger than they appear in the pictures. Beer and cava were both good, plastic cava flutes were a nice touch for poolside rather than a cup

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by great employees, from the friendly reception team through to the animation team who work tirelessly all day and evening to provide both kids and grown ups with entertainment

Having visited in late October, there were no sunbed wars, and ample seating in the evenings (although it got very busy for Halloween)

Earlier in the season, I could see it getting a lot busier and you may struggle to find seats to watch the shows. We never queued for long to get drinks (although this could change in June) as the bar area is quite small

We also had a blast at the karaoke nights — definitely one of the highlights! Our rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. The buffet had plenty of food, though it didn’t vary that much day to day

We found the food to be varied, with a large selection of goods for all meals of the day. Food was high quality and restaurant staff were all great. Some dishes were absolutely amazing

We stayed October half term so the outdoor pool was cold, but the small outdoor jacuzzi was okay to use, you had to book the indoor pool which we did but found they let to many in at a time which become overcrowded

It’s self serve so food was never hot. There is a microwave that you can use. Location is good, 10min walk to the beach and 10min walk to bus station

There was a small out dated gym, but fine. The food was okay, breakfast was the same every morning, dinner seemed to be fish every night, and my 8yr old lived on plain pasta and chips not much for kids

We did the land train which was around 6euro each, don’t really see much though. There’s a market on a Thursday just in the next few from the hotel, this was nice to walk around

There was no entertainment or kids club in the week we stayed they were dressing the hotel for Halloween for the day we left which looked fab. There’s a park in the next street

The main bed was two singles pushed together we found these beds really hard, which resulted my partner staying in the child’s bed as it was softer all week

Very close to beach and adjacent large exercise/calisthenics park. The staff are happy to help where they can. They help with moving bags, and helped store our bags the day we checked out

My friend and I stayed here during our trip to Barcelona. this was our favorite place for sure! clean, comfortable and in close proximity to the beach and nice restaurants

The air conditioning was quiet and we both slept well. All in all we had a really enjoyable break, the beach is literally 200 yards away

Functional, well-situated for what we were seeing in Barcelona. Fairly easy to reach from the airport via A1 bus. Davis towels to a nice beach and they provide towels

My girlfriend and I had a lovely 5 day break at this hotel. The staff were all professional and friendly. Having breakfast outside was particularly enjoyable, with plenty of choice to suit all tastes

Excellent! The staff are super kind and friendly. Everyone spoke perfect english (not that it should matter, but it does make life so much easier). The rooms are nice and spacious

Fantastic location. The rooms with balconies were very spacious and spotless. Dinner was a little underwhelming, but breakfast was excellent and offered a good variety. The staff were okay.

( Don't try and take it out the restaurant though 😅). Staff were amazing and Friendly. Carles at the pool was very nice and friendly. Deserves a medal working in that heat. And as for Danae on reception

The pool was great, but the buffet was absolutely terrible (0/1000). The entertainment and pool staff were very friendly. However, one of the bar staff and a front desk agent came across as very tense, almost rude

Clean hotel but a bit run down, lots of damaged things in the bathroom, the balcony window isn't insulated, the entrance door isn't sturdy, it barely moves and you can see us, the rooms aren't insulated at all, you can hear everything! The pool is small considering the number of rooms in this hotel

I have just completed a week stay at this hotel and I would recommend it to anyone looking to have a nice relaxing stay. The rooms are clean, the quality of food is good and the staff there is very nice

Very good hotel! Lots of sunbeds available and the pool is just big enough! Snacks included in the all inclusive are very very good and the drinks also! Very nice staff (especially Oscar in the bar and Carlos in the restaurant)! Everything was always very clean!

We stayed at this hotel for the last 5 days. We had a lovely time it was in a good location an hour away from Barcelona plus short walk to the beach. Its close to the train station so you can head into Barcelona easily

Really nice location, a quick walk to the beach and right by public transport too. Quiet, clean room with great sunshine in the morning on the balcony

The staff is super friendly, and answered all our questions. We initially had a comfort room, but it was a bit hot and we wanted a bath, so we were able to change to the exclusive room, which was absolutely amazing

We had breakfast included which was a very nice buffet. The facilities are great (gym, spa, pool) and the location is perfect in the centre of Pineda, next to the beach and trainstation (1 hour train to Barcelona)

I loved my experience staying at the magnolia hotel, it’s modern clean and situated very close to the centre and beach amenities

The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was great, the best of many hotels I have been to. Breakfast is optional but is complete. You can order eggs or an omelette and they will make it for you immediately

The hotel is located in the center of Salou. Both the service and facilities are impeccable. The room is large, the bed is also large, there is a balcony to enjoy a glass of wine, and the restaurant is also good.

The staff were always polite and helpful. The rooms are really nice and comfortable. The breakfast was nice and good value for money. The spa was a nice way to relax. I will be returning here in the future

On the other hand, there is a soundproofing problem, we can really hear the neighbors a lot. There was also a lack of a privacy screen on the terrace to have more privacy with the neighboring room

A great hotel 5 minute walk to the beach and shops,bars and cafes along the seafront. Rooms are clean and comfortable a bit basic. Good choice of food on the buffet lunch and dinner. I would stay here again

staff are kind and speak some english drinks are reasonably priced (large sangria and a corona for €8) breakfast has options for us fussy eaters, (vegetarian options) dinner was fabulous with lots of english foods! the pool is way better than the pictures

they don’t do it justice and it has been updated! the sun loungers are so comfy but get there early as there are wars… you can usually always find a space local shop carrefour VERY near by, cheap! up at the rooftop bar is a load of gorgeous sunloungers where you can relax! there is no lack of space to relax! music plays and there is live entertainment on the evenings housekeepers come every day...

The hotel is an hour from Barcelona airport. Its centrally located and 10 to 15 mins walk to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants. The train station is also close by

Really friendly hotel could not do enough for you …food was good not to my taste but very good selection…..very clean….central location all in all a fab holiday will go back 🩷🩷

even in the little shops here we have just been met with kindness, i speak only basic spanish as i am still learning and everyone was very encouraging but also speak pretty much fluent english! con: doesn’t seem to be anywhere to get cold water or drinkable water for free (they seem to be capitalising off the fact you are hot, we payed €3 for two cups of ice and €3 for a bottle of cold water at dinner...

We had a few nights in this lovely hotel. Convenient for beach snd city with a beautiful roof terrace and pool. The staff are knowledgeable, courteous and extremely helpful

Check in is weird when the guy behind reception asks you to scan a qr code and enter your details there instead of just doing it himself. I mean I’m standing front of you. Room was clean, location good

Very nice hotel. Very clean and easy to check in/ out. Pool was freezing, the sea was warmer, but to be expected at this time of year. Everything else was perfect

Lovely small pool with a limited amount of sunbeds on the 7th floor but it has a pool bar too with plenty of seating

Didn’t use upstairs pool area this time because no parasols and weather was 30degrees each day. There is shade area to rear of pool area to use but not sunbed area. Bedroom has large wardrobe and shower room perfect

Top marks for all! Amenities, staff, cleaning, atmosphere, food, beds, lighting, sea views, pool, bar area and look of the hotel. Couldn't be more pleased with my experience!

The hotel location couldn't be any better , you literally walk out the front door and the beach is infront of you. There are lots of shops , bars and restaurants on the doorstep

Beach just across the road so that’s great, also lots of places to eat and drink all the way along the front

A long promenade stretches along the beach, where you can walk or ride bicycles (you can rent at the hotel, including bicycles with child seats)

Lovely hotel mid way between Cambrils and Salou. We visited right at tge end of the season

The reception tried to get us to pay extra to go full board because 'nothing outside the hotel was open' but don't be fooled as if you are happy to walk to Cambril there was plenty of choice! If all you wanted to do was lounge by the hotel, yes full board was a sensible option and the meals in the hotel were amazing!

A very good hotel with very good staff who couldn't of done more for us. Room kept very clean and a very good choice of food each day. They cater for all ages, we had a most enjoyable two weeks. Thank you.

Only thing I would change that breakfast and dinner would last longer, they ended 10:30 and 21:30, and I like to sleep until late

public spaces decorated & furnished like a 4* hotel and the food was of very high quality- better than many 5*’s I have stayed in. nice pool, sheltered from breezes, always plenty of sunbeds

When I woke I had a full sea view from the balcony, room was adequate but no T&C or fridge. comfy bed, bath tub! plenty of HW and storage space

The staff are very friendly and speak a good level of English. Beach right opposite the hotel and is literally like 30 seconds away. Local shops and supermarkets are also right outside the hotel

my flight was delayed by bad weather in Barcelona and I just managed to catch the last train from Barcelona Sants which was late & arrived at Malgrat station around 00

I phoned reception mid afternoon and again late evening to confirm reception would be open (actually 24/7) and a helpful clerk checked me in & showed me to my room

Overall good experience, very standard room with a hard bed. Great pool and the hotel is in a great location to the beach

From the check-in to the check out. Reception, the bar and Jose, the restaurant ( with amazing and affordable regional wine prices ) the breakfast. The location as well really top and free parking around the hotel

First time away with my 6 year old. Absolutely loved everything about it. Loved the pool and slides ,loved the choice and standard of food,really easy for families and great location to get to beach etc

Great hotel, friendly staff, very clean. Had no problems with my stay there. Plenty of food to choose from. My kids loves the pool which was watched all the time. Would definitely go again and recommend.

Room was very clean and quiet, the food was lovely and all staff we came across were friendly and very helpful 😀 My husband and myself wished we found this hotel at the start of our holiday

Suitable for a short beach holiday, but that's about it. I booked this hotel as a solo traveler for 4 nights. Upon arrival, I was informed that my room would be in the second building

Fortunately, this building is connected by two elevators, making it easily accessible. The room was a bit small, but perfectly adequate for a beach holiday

The buffet normally costs 24 Euros, which I found to be very poor value for money. Furthermore, at each meal, there was always only one staff member tasked with restocking the buffet, serving guests, and other duties

Our stay was excellent. We particularly appreciated being able to store our bikes in the garage. We encountered no issues, and the staff were very friendly.

Staff: They seemed friendly and were very open to my complaint regarding the cleanliness. Conclusion: For me, the stay was okay, as I spent most of my time outside the hotel anyway

It frequently happened that I asked for water and only received it when I was already halfway through my meal (which isn't surprising when one person has to attend to all guests)

Very confortable and big beds. Breakfast was good missing other meats (only pork) or fried eggs only scrambled eggs. Close to the beach only you had to cross the promenade

Our frontal sea view was fantastic. Bed was comfortable and we had tea/coffee facilities. We did notice since our last visits 8 months ago, that their are some maintenance issues here and there

We took the table down to reception in the end to get it replaced on our 3rd day. As we had paid extra for a balcony sea view room it is reasonable to expect balcony furniture which is usable

It's a pleasure to be once again at this hotel where they make you feel at home with all the luxuries of a hotel.

Some broken tiles which have been patched up , broken beading on the glass door leading to the balcony, dirty umbrellas in the restaurant Amanit, fewer items for the breakfast buffet than we have had on our 3 previous visits

Hotel is in a good location right by the beach & about a 20-30 minute walk from the centre of Roses. Plenty of shops & bars nearby. We had buffet breakfast & dinner with our package

Fairly basic hotel but it did everything fairly well. All a bit 80s package tour flavour - not many frills.

The strong bridges: seafront! Nice view, quick access to the beach, clean, many restaurants around! Shuttle nearby to reach the old roses! Helpful staff

Room cleaned every day, food was good, personel always nice with smile, kids loved entertainment, only ones what I didn’t like is bar near pool, needed wait long time for drinks and after 20 min my waiting they closed so lost my time and didn’t have drink

My girls had an amazing time here and this is everything that counts. Food was amazing ,pools amazing. The only "bad" thing ,I would say was the queue at the bar. Apart from that nothing to complaint

There’s a bar that serves your drinks and food by the pool and you have to eat at the designated picnic areas, which was fine by me as didn’t fancy watching people eat whilst trying to sunbathe and no one wants to dodge wet floor chips

That’s no fault of the hotel, just worth mentioning to any inexperienced holiday goers. Our child loved the kids pool and this area was also kept very clean

The hotel is clean and staff very friendly, and very eager to help when we ran into issues in the meeting rooms. The supplies in the meeting rooms and breakout corners was well stocked

I really wanted to love my stay at Calipolis and I did! the Team at the hotel across the board could not be more welcoming helpful or friendly! I had a few issues booking but the speed of correspondence from the hotel was superb and they more than composated for that! One small area is just the size of the pool making getting a sunbed sometimes challenging and also noisy with kids

They had the room ready! Thanks Jose Gonzales and Alexy for making the trip comfortable by having the room ready even though I checked-in earlier than the time! After a long flight, I just needed a shower and sleep

We had a business meeting here so it was a group booking. The hotel staff was amazing! I had informed I would be traveling from the US and arriving early(~11:00 AM)

You are all doing a great job The only negative was, the pool is small and there were no umbrellas however the beach is so near so this did not really pose a problem for us It was very good value and I would recommend it without hesitation if you are planning a visit to Lloret de Mar

The food is really amazing, so fresh and tasty, great for the value !!! Absolutely wonderful drinks of which my favourite was the Margarita (not the pizza) 😅😅♥️ Really great with amazing view listening to spanish music and enjoying the sea!! Its smoking friendly and I fome here almost every day!!

Nice stay at the Hotel Miramar. On the sea front lovely view. Small pool on the roof top with several sunbeds with a fantastic view. Room was basic but perfectly fine everything we needed

My father is vegetarian and there isn’t a great deal of options for him. Most of the dishes are seafood based, which isn’t surprising as we are on the Spanish coast and seafood is a Spanish speciality

Good hotel right on the beach with lovely views. Nothing to complain about in this hotel. If you're in lloret de mar and want to be close to the strip and the beach this is a good choice
