We decided a last minute trip to Barcelona for my birthday. We after a couple hours of searching around, we found Hotel Claris to be the best in the area, a lot of places are close by and a very safe area. The rooms were quite spacious, and the hotel was very close to Metro Line 4. There were plenty of restaurants within a kilometer. Very close to the subway station, and the room was clean and tidy. The bed was also very large. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the front desk service was fantastic; they gave us a map, told us about routes, and reminded us of important things to note.

The breakfast was delicious and the hotel is close to the subway. Remember to bring your own toothbrush and slippers.

We have just come back from this hotel. It was very very clean. Located in between the old and new parts of Tossa de Mar, both a 5 minute walk.
