It is certainly a nice hotel, however I see more hype than substance there. It is far from poor, but I found it a little less exciting than I had anticipated. Friendly staff though!

Beautiful hotel located near the train station. You can walk or call and the porter will pick you up in five minutes for free. Staff is amazingly friendly and the service is like a 5 star hotel. We had a great experience from start to finish. The rooms are beautifully designed, with thoughtful details like binoculars and a hiking backpack. The spa is one of the best I’ve visited in the Alps, and the food was truly outstanding. We loved both Madre Nostra and Bazaar for lunch and dinner. The hotel is right next to the cable car station for the Matterhorn, which is why I booked this room. You can see sheep on the hillside opposite the window, but they aren't black-faced sheep. We booked it last min and we were so luckily as it was the last room of that day due to peak season. The hotel itself is average and definitely suit for anyone who have low budget yet want to explore Zermatt. I would highly recommended anyone to book here. We really enjoyed our stay. It’s close to the main train station and gornergrat bahn. Rooms were spacious, wonderful breakfast spread and friendly service crew at the front desk.

Our stay at the Europe Hotel was perfect! My daughter and I were here to ski for the first time and we loved everything about this hotel. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, a 5-minute walk away, making it easy for travelers with lots of luggage. The terrace offers stunning views of the snow-covered landscape.

Everything felt luxurious and comfortable to the touch, and I was very satisfied. Sleeping while watching the stars from the loft roof was a special experience. I was also very satisfied with the breakfast, which was made with authentic ingredients. I would like to return. I was also pleased that the dining room staff greeted me so warmly.

Located in the heart of Zermatt, while the Matterhorn is not visible, the train station is very close, just a 300-meter walk with luggage. Free lunch is available on the second floor. The breakfast restaurant, while small, is excellent. A special thank you to the cleaning staff for returning our phone to the room.

The room I booked for the first night was downgraded! I was given a new room for the second night, but I was not very satisfied with the room type. It was just average overall.

The staff are friendly and the drinks in the mini bars are free..... They are generous with the food, they even have bread, nuts and fruits all day next to the check-in desk.

My room has a nice view over Mountain Matterhorn. I can oversee Matterhorn turn into Gold colour in the morning. The buffet breakfast is very nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The only improvement required is their shower facilities. Water leaking out of the bath tub while taking a shower. A very pleasant stay in the hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights. The location was good, with a good unobstructed view of the Matterhorn. The room we stayed in was cosy. The breakfast was of good quality but with quite a limited variety (lack of warm food, but it could be that this is just the way hotels serve their breakfast in this part of the world). Next to the hotel is the viewpoint to the Matterhorn. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They will give you chocolate. The room is very big and have the balcony. The bathroom is not sealed so some water may come out. The breakfast is very nice. There is the shuttle to the Zermatt station, just ask the staff for it. We used it when checkout.

It's OK, but it takes some time to get to the ski resort. There is an exit that is relatively close, but there is no supermarket nearby, so you still need to go to the train station to buy things.

This is one of those properties that you would have regretted not having booked if you stayed somewhere else. It is hard to beat this hotel due its proximity to everything and amazing customer service.

The room is very nice. The location is excellent. You can see the Matterhorn mountain view, sunrise and sunset. The surrounding transportation is convenient. It is not far from the train station, about 500 meters, but it is all uphill. Just a 10-second walk from Nihonjin-bashi, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Matterhorn. The location is absolutely fantastic! The room was clean and offered a nice view as well. While it wasn't a Matterhorn-view room, we still enjoyed a lovely view of the Zermatt townscape. If I get the chance to visit again, I would definitely want to stay here.

Single room was small, as expected, but very clean and comfortable, and a great shower! A tiny balcony with a spectacular view! Very friendly and helpful staff! Breakfast was the only meal I had, and it was very good!

Hands down, this was one of my absolute favorite places during my trip to Switzerland. Highly recommend if you're visiting Zermatt! Definitely make sure to book a room with a Matterhorn view. The breakfast was generally good, though it could have used a bit more fresh fruit. Plus, having a microwave and water dispenser in the basement was a great perk that helped us save money on bottled water.

It's immaculately clean, and its excellent location means you can even catch a glimpse of the Matterhorn from the terrace on a clear day. The level of cleanliness is comparable to Japanese standards. Wonderful breakfast. Comfortable rooms with a balcony. Obviously fairly recently renovated. There is no air con in the Cosy Chic room, which wasn't too much of an issue despite being August but in a heatwave it may be.

The service was excellent, and they lent me an adapter. The balcony was large enough for drying clothes. In the morning, they also had freshly squeezed juice, and the breakfast was extensive. You could finish one cup of coffee and order more. The hotel also had umbrellas available for loan.
