Memory Patong in Patong

Before I begin, I want to mention that I hope the owner of this hotel reads this review. I stayed at your hotel, Memory 2, for 3 days this month. For a 2-star hotel, it was quite decent. Every hotel has its pros and cons, and this one is no exception.

I’d like to share some of my experiences during my stay. First of all, the hotel’s decoration was quite nice. The entrance was styled like a Chinese house or restaurant, which gave a unique vibe. I had a pleasant interaction with the receptionist, who was a young woman. A helpful receptionist is always a positive aspect for any hotel. The room was fairly spacious. But the most attractive part of this hotel was the cat! The cat was so gentle and friendly. Even after leaving the hotel, I still miss the cat. I also noticed a few white cats nearby — although they may not be part of the hotel, they too were well-behaved.

Now, moving on to some negative experiences — which I believe can be resolved by the hotel owner. Firstly, I noticed several reviews mentioning ants, and I saw them too. However, to me, the ants weren’t a major issue. What bothered me more was the lighting in the room. The room was fairly large, but the lighting was quite dim, making it feel dark. The same goes for the bathroom — it was not well-lit. A brighter light could easily be installed, which is a simple fix the owner can make.

Also, the staircase seemed quite dangerous to me. The steps were higher and narrower than usual, so I had to be very careful while going up. It would be great if the stairs were made a bit broader for safety. Another thing I noticed — while most of the receptionists were friendly, there was one Indian receptionist on duty during a shift change. Although he could speak Thai, his attitude did not seem very polite.

That said, overall the hotel wasn’t bad — it was quite good. If I ever come back, it will probably be for the cat. That cat is truly the Brand Ambassador of your hotel.

Best hotel in budget. Everything was super. Room and bathroom was clean. Beach is around 18 mins walking distance. Near to seven eleven.
Location is perfect, there are many eateries around.
Staff behaviour was very good , they even allowed me to invite guest for some couple of hours.

Location is good, just try to get a lower floor room bcoz this hotel doesn't have any lift. I had good time here. All staff here are good. Don't expect much in this cost. :)

I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful—from the reception team to room service, everyone made me feel welcome and well taken care of.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my stay. The location is also great—just a 10-minute walk to Patong Beach, which made it easy to enjoy the sun and the sea every day.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my stay. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Phuket. Highly recommended!

ABSOLUTELY STAY HERE! there is no elevator, but the room with a balcony facing the mountains and watch the sunrise in the morning is worth the 5 flights. I love the open shower bathroom. The bed is firm but not hard, I slept like a rock. They clean your room daily If you wish and they always give you 2 free bottles of water. The place is stunning. The room is big. The view is wonderful. The location is perfect. 14 min walk to the beach. 7 mins each way to awesome street food markets and other activities. I would stay here again without hesitation. They are so sweet at the front as well. They let you leave your luggage. I could go on and on. Oh they have a tea pot and they wifi is awesome! 100/10 recommend

Good modern hotel
Good hotel. Room is modern, new and have all the facilities. The location is ok. It’s not in the center of patong but is walking distance to the beach and shops.

Beautiful host Vivi welcomed me with a great smile and gave the best room with a beautiful balcony view. Neat rooms easy to locate and not noisy at all it’s a peaceful hotel
