I stayed here for 10 days. It was a pleasant stay. The staff were so kind and helpful. Rooms are well-equipped, and you have access to the public transportation system with about a 15-minute walk to the metro station. The neighborhood is so alive; however, it is far from luxurious Dubai, but you can easily find whatever you wish around. I enjoyed my stay, and I do recommend it.

Garden City is located a short 15-minute walk from the Dubai Gold Souk and 20-minute walk from the Spice Souq. Great location, with the metro and many malls and affordable shops nearby. There are also plenty of buses, and bus number 28 to the beach stops right across the street, with the final stop being the beach itself. The staff are very responsive and helpful with any request.

I had a very good experience at the U.A.E. Youth Hostel Association. The place is clean, well-organized, and peaceful. The hotel is strategically located. If you are doing business in Deira Souk. The service could be improved and the last day they put us in a room that was not functional but later transferred us but the fact that they put us there when they had other better functional rooms was already off. I took a capsule for an overnight transfer. If you're 174 cm tall, you won't fit in the capsule lengthwise; your legs will be hanging loose. The capsules are all shabby; they're clean, but very decrepit and flimsy. You can hear snoring from the next capsule and every little rustle. But the worst thing is the COLD. It's just so cold in there, it's impossible to sleep. They give you a thin blanket, but...

I had a good 5 hours sleep in the pod after a long flight.

Quite noisy as I could hear everything time a new guest arrived during the whole night. Was waken up 4-5 time during one night

Expensive, but served a purpose. Clean and convenient, basically a cupboard with a bed in it. A chance to get a few hours sleep on a layover. Expensive for what it is, really.

This hotel is such a great deal! The room rate is discounted and includes free airport shuttle. The environment is elegant and clean, the facilities are complete and easy to use, and Xiao Tang at the front desk is very friendly and attentive. It was a fantastic experience!

Service is poor, not well cleaned.

No toothbrush or toothpaste, no slippers, and the exhaust pipe outside room 207 was extremely loud, making it impossible to sleep. Turning on the water heater caused all the wall sockets to trip. The Indian staff at the hotel reception were alright in terms of service.

We spent one night at this hotel and won't be returning. There are three nightclubs in the hotel, and the music plays until 3 AM. The room was small, the walls were painted with oil paint, and there was no electric kettle. The central air conditioning couldn't be turned off, and the vent grille on the ceiling wasn't adjustable, so it blew directly onto the beds all night. Overall, I do not recommend...

The biggest advantage is its proximity to Union Metro Station, which is very convenient. There are also shopping malls and retail stores nearby to explore. Good location and clean ok service

When I reached the hotel, the front desk took time to find my booking name, and there's no even drinking water inside the room. The AC was centralized. You can't switch off if you don't like to use it.

It'd cozy and quiet. Just what you'll expect from a 2 star property but they barely answer the phone at the reception. I like that they respect privacy and keep things simple with the guest. No drama having a visitor.

The room was decent, and so is the service. Wifi is slow though, and the room was cooled with a ceiling fan, not AC, at least the one I stayed in on the 3rd floor. The location is great though, as it's less than 10 minutes walking distance from Union Metro Station and 5 minutes from Al Ghurair Mall. When i visited a certain place. Accomodation is one of the big factor i am considering. We arrived Dubai evening and went directly to our hotel to check in at about 8 pm.
