My room was dirty and even though it was updated it had not been well maintained. Stains on sheets, dirty shower, broken plugs. I won’t be going back. The staff was friendly though and the pool looked lovely even though it was freezing that day and I didn’t get to use it.

It was a good stay. Room OK (when was the last time the carpet was shampooed?). Great bathroom. However, the lighting is extremely DARK, even in the bathroom. I returned the room card during the check out. The temporary parking paper ticket did not work when I tried to exit parking lot. I have to walk to the lobby to tell the representative such that he can ask the security to open the gate when I exit the parking lot. The parking fee was already included in the hotel fee and was paid.

From the minute I checked in, the experience was fantastic! Everyone was extremely welcoming from the staff at the desk, the coffee shop, restaurant, etc. Shuttle was a great addition and had no problem with pickup or drop off. Rooms were great..did have one small hiccup with housekeeping but it was immediately corrected. Definitely worth the stay and I’ll absolutely be back!

A very surprising vacation experience. The hotel park is very large and the green environment is very beautiful! The swimming pool is large, has ladders and has its own rafting area. Children can go there every day and stay in the hotel all day and feel very relaxed. It's very close and convenient to go to the Disneyland.

The bed sheets in the room always have a stinky smell from not drying. There are no toiletries in the room, so remember to bring your own. There are no slippers. Shower head was falling out and there was a dirty kids underwear in closet. The room didn’t feel clean. Also an alarm went off around 6am coming from an empty room next door and the hotel phone wasn’t working. My biggest complaint was the shared door between two suites (strangers in the other room) was that you could hear EVERYTHING through that door!  Also, the sink in the bathroom was not draining so that is a gross point.  Service was outstanding and in a pinch we would stay there. This hotel is nearly 100 years old, so the facilities are a bit dated, but it's generally clean and tidy. Its best feature is the excellent location; it's very convenient to walk to major Midtown attractions and the subway. About 100 meters to the left when you exit the hotel, there's a fantastic Korean buffet restaurant.

Excellent service, generous desk staff allowed us to check in at 9am for no cost as the room was free, excellent room with great views. Right next to multiple subway stations.

It is a very basic hotel but very convenient if you want to take the train to other cities at Penn Station for a couple of days during your visit because they let you store your luggage if you return to NYC to stay there again.

We truly enjoyed the hotel’s location, the room with its ocean view, and the excellent service provided by all staff members. The food was of good quality, although we found the prices somewhat high for what was offered. We also appreciated the beach and the availability of chairs. One aspect we liked less was the bed covering, which we found too thick, heavy, and warm.

The modern, big rooms and EXCELLENT staff. Flew in from Europe and immediately relaxed. Great location: close to everything in Miami and the pool/beach right at the hotel. We had the best time here. Unfortunately it was only 1 night but they made it amazing. Mia, Alexis, and Adriana at the front desk were so friendly and helpful. I've been staying here for the past 3 years one weekend a year for a workplace christmas party and its always a blast. The lobby bar is a lot of fun with amazing live music. Lovely stay at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa. The property was gorgeous! Palm trees and beautiful water everywhere. They even have flamingos out by the front of the resort. Our room was comfortable with a balcony view so we got to take it all in for the 2 days we were there over the Easter weekend. Highly recommend!

When you call front dest, I have waited for a long time.

We stayed here because of Coachella. The environment is great. The golf course is in the entire resort. Because the music festival ended late, the hotel specially prepared supper for everyone to buy, which was very considerate. The corridors and rooms are obviously old, not worth the price. We booked a room with city view. They gave us a room with window and there was no city view. Something blocked our window view and they did it on purpose. They usually give trip.com or *********** customers on the same floor which blocks the window and blocks the city view.

Located in Times Square, it's a pleasant walk to Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The rooms are a bit small, and breakfast is grab-and-go with three vendor options. I recommend Carve at the intersection of 47th Street and 8th Avenue for more choices. They also offer complimentary red and white wine every Tuesday and Friday from 5-6 PM. This is being sold as a 4 star hotel. But it is Not. Its a very nice 3 star with lots of good food/ restaurants. Great cafe also. But the pool is tiny and offers limited shade protection. There are cigarette butts and cans all around the property. There are no smoke free areas. Fixtures and furniture are from the 1970s. Its quite charming and in a great area.

Overall, I don't have major complaints about the rooms themselves here. A little dated in some aspects, but the stay was fine, if a bit spartan for the price per night we paid. However, it was things like the pool closing at 7:00 pm, the constant second hand smoke (at least not in the room) and the typical "gotta walk through the casino" feel for it all. Definitely trying to be a little Vegas experience...
