The hotel breakfast was good, and being able to dine until 12 PM was a pleasant surprise. The hotel staff were very attentive. They provided plenty of bottled water in the room, and the turndown service was excellent, especially the second replenishment of supplies. Definitely recommended! The surrounding area is lovely, the North Bund offers beautiful scenery, and the rooftop is perfect for taking photos. I loved it 💕

Overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay. Lumia was incredibly warm and thoughtful, helping me mail some items. And Deslin even gave me a small gift when I checked out – the service was absolutely top-notch! My overall experience gets a full five-star rating~

Overall, I'm quite satisfied, especially after staying at a Wyndham near the safari park for the previous two days... Before checking in, I received a call from the hotel, and the moment I stepped into the lobby, it felt like I was finally back in a proper hotel.

The room's river view was unbeatable, with the three main pieces of furniture perfectly aligned with the scenery. The only minor drawback was that the glass wasn't very clean, which slightly affected photo-taking... but I can understand why. Breakfast was decent; it had everything you'd expect, and the local specialty snacks were delicious. I also enjoyed a drink at the rooftop bar in the evening.

Oh, and the pool was excellent! Although not large, it had two small, high-temperature pools, so kids could play for a long time without getting cold.

Finally, a big thank you to Lily and Deslin for their thoughtful service. My stay was very comfortable, and I didn't encounter any issues.

I stayed in the Panorama Bund Retreat King Bed Room with Oriental Pearl Tower View. The panoramic views are unbelievably beautiful and can be enjoyed both from the room and the large bathtub. The window stretches almost the entire width of the room, with a large sofa beside it that allows you to sit comfortably and fully appreciate the skyline.
The bed was incredibly spacious and comfortable, and the staff even brought scented oils to help with relaxation and sleep, which was a lovely touch.
I must have arrived during a particularly busy period because the restaurant was always crowded and there was usually a queue for breakfast. However, on one occasion I was offered a takeaway breakfast box instead as I was in a hurry.
As I do not have a Chinese phone number, I had difficulty ordering food from outside the hotel. Since the hotel had no halal and vegetarian options aside from one pasta dish, a member of staff kindly used their own phone to help me place an order and allowed me to reimburse them through Alipay. I thought this was incredibly thoughtful and helpful service.
Even spending time in the hotel lobby felt relaxing, as the pink cherry blossoms outside the windows created such a beautiful atmosphere.
The spa treatments were excellent and deeply relaxing. Lisa was fantastic and made the entire experience feel comfortable and welcoming. The in-room amenities were also wonderful! I loved the fragrance of the body lotion so much that I bought one from the spa before leaving.
This has become one of my favourite hotels, and I already can’t wait to return.

I'm genuinely impressed by the Banyan Tree Shanghai on the Bund! The hygiene was impeccable, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Deslin called us in advance of our check-in, and Cynthia even gave us a small gift when we checked out. My friends and I had a wonderful stay.

They upgraded us for free to a Deluxe Pool Room, but we felt it wasn't quite right for us to relax, so they upgraded us again to a Zen Room, which was fantastic! Later, when we went out for dinner, they even extended our check-out time. I really appreciate that! Everything was great.

The room was very clean, and the Bund view was spectacular. Citywalks nearby were very enjoyable. My wife was also very pleased. Our butler, Cynthia, was very thoughtful and even prepared a customized card and a small cake for us. Her efficiency was impressive. We'll definitely choose Banyan Tree again next time!

The room looks great and the hotel smells lovely. The service was excellent and very attentive. The sofa was large and soft, and the floor-to-ceiling windows were perfect for photos. The bathtub was also very spacious. The overall lighting was a bit warm and dim, but the hygiene was impeccable.

The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offer an amazing direct view of the Oriental Pearl Tower, and the night view is absolutely stunning.
The lavish breakfast can easily last you until lunchtime, and right downstairs is the riverside promenade, perfect for leisurely strolls with the kids.
Being surrounded by the Huangpu River and such beautiful scenery makes for such a happy stay~
Especially the butler service – so thoughtful, every single butler was outstanding! I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time...
