Very good hotel and clean and friendly people good wifi as well, and I didn't need to take taxi to go to the sea , it just 5 minutes from the hotel to the sea ?

We arrived at the Hotel General in Batui, which we had booked on Trip. com, by taxi, but the hotel was closed and locked. Fortunately, we contacted Trip. com and found a replacement hotel

The facilities and size were better than the hotel we had originally booked, but the bed was a double bed, so we thought it would be a bit uncomfortable for two healthy men, so we checked into a higher-level hotel with two beds

Exceptional experience! The hotel offered top-notch service with elegant rooms and breathtaking views. The restaurant surpassed expectations with delectable dishes and impeccable presentation. A truly memorable stay!

During my business trip, I stayed here for a couple of days. The staff was helpful, dedicated, and the rooms were neat. The service was truly premium-class. Certainly will stay at STEPS again!

Breakfast doesn’t have much options.

We stayed at the hotel in January 2026. The hotel has no radiators, heating only comes from the air conditioner. We were freezing at night (the air conditioner was set to 28 degrees). It was terribly cold and damp

we had to do early check in as we're not aware that check in time is 2pm but they really managed and gave us an apartment for staying, later we stayed in that apartment itself and dint changed to the hotel room

The location is convenient and you can walk to the main attractions in Batumi. The hotel is old and the breakfast is rich. It is not convenient to park by car

Very pleasant stay Clean, comfortable room and bathroom. We had a balcony that opened up onto the Piazza square. They don't provide clothes cleaning or ironing but there's an iron available for use.

It's a typical apartment-style hotel, with a washing machine with a dryer, a kitchen, and four bottles of water in the refrigerator. The three of us booked a large suite, so big it almost scared me

Staying in an apartment hotel for a day during a trip to do laundry is quite convenient. Location-wise, it's very close to major attractions within walking distance

For those driving, it has its own underground parking garage on extremely congested roads, which is quite good. However, you have to call the front desk every time you open or close the garage

Also, driving into this parking garage requires some skill, as you have to navigate very narrow lanes lined with parked cars. Batumi isn't really suitable for driving

Good location but choose the one with a sea view otherwise the scenery is not good. It is clean and it has good facilities. But, there is no iron and washing machine in all flats

The apartment is acceptable location in the center of the city but very crowded. Near to train station, fish market and Batumi cable car. Staff was so nice and helpful

We stayed at 2018 september and it was comfortable and peacefull. when we were staying, there lits of diffrent people in different rooms so there was a friendly place. If i go to batum again, i ll stay again there

There is kitchen to use guests. The owner knows engilish so there is no comminication problem. I can suggest this place to stay. Batum was our first abroad holiday by hitchhiking. You can stay there inner peace

Brilliant place to stay! Central and host was super friendly (so much so we were served home made chacha for breakfast lol) - room was awesome with a nice balcony view and very close to the black sea and piers with the restaurants

The view is beautiful from the balcony (direct to the square) on the top floor or from some rooms with balconies. Not far to the sea, just over 5 min. Of the minuses - in fact they practically did not notice them

The cleanliness of the rooms is top notch. Perfect location - the beach, parks, attractions - all within walking distance. Upstairs there is a terrace with tables overlooking Europe Square

The only thing is that the walls are not sound absorbed. And it’s noisy on the street, because the area and a lot of small cafes are nearby. This did not create any discomfort for us
