I booked a single room, but the hotel upgraded me to a triple room. The Wi-Fi reception wasn't very good, and the facilities were a bit dated. However, the room was really spacious, though the bathroom was quite small. It's super close to the train station, which is incredibly convenient.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed. The suite is really comfortable and spacious, everything was clean. The staff was always kind. The breakfast has great options and is tasty. Also the location is really great, close to the city center and right by the river.

This was a lovely three night stopover. Breakfast, although continental - had everything my husband liked, and everything I liked (ie the 'birdseed'!). Staff were wonderful, and the option to enjoy hot drinks and Xmas biscuits in the lounge was a highlight. Overall, we stayed in a friend's house, instead of a hotel.

Easily one of the best hotels we stayed in on our trip, too bad we only stayed here for a night. The location is a bit outside the city center (northwest to central Munich), so if you don't have a car, it might not be the most accessible. There were several staff members, ranging from those who seemed German to those who were very kind. I never had a bad experience. The food was delicious and there was a wide variety. I was very satisfied. It was perfect because I only needed a place to stay! It's a little far from the main station, but there's plenty of public transportation, so it wasn't a problem.

Even though a few miles from City Center there is a bus stop outside hotel and a reliable public transport system - buses run on time and there is the U (underground train) stop 5 mins walk - the train gets you to old town in less than 10 mins. This Moxy is on the outskirts, and isn't very convenient to anything in the city center. Once inside, I found that the hotel was nothing more than barely adequate. Twin bed rooms are constructed in a way that the beds cannot be pushed together, meaning if you are tall or broad the dimensions of the bed are very tight. The beds are very firm. I like that it was really quiet and clean. It is a bit from the central part of the city but it is pleasant. It's is also not that far from a metro station, all one need to do is to take the bus and arrive to the station in 10 minutes.

Lovely little hotel that is more like a Bavarian guesthouse. Stayed here for a business trip visiting Munich Messe. Nice and quiet, slept well. Nice hot shower. Staff are really helpful. The hotel added a sofa bed for my son, bringing the total number of single beds to three. Even with the extra bed, the room still felt very spacious. The air conditioning was powerful. The inner garden was beautiful and quiet, which was a big plus. The location is also fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from both the train and metro stations.

Overall, it was just an average experience. The hotel is tucked away in an alley, and the room felt a bit small. It seemed overpriced compared to similar hotels, offering only average value for money. Breakfast was also nothing special. Terrific resort off the beaten path The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. The room was brand new, airy, and large. The food at the restaurant was exceptionally good.

Peace on the lake. This is an idyllic place close to nature. The breakfast was ample and service not intrusive. The situation is quite and access is by an end road so traffic is not an issue.

Thalmair hotel is a lovely and cosy Family run hotel in Munich. The location is a bit far from the city centre, but its not an issue, as the underground is 2 mins walk. And its about 25 to 27 euros to the city centre on uber or bolt. The hotel is also very close to the famous LMU clinic. Very, very good experience. The hotel is located in the city center, next to the subway, with convenient transportation. There are famous attractions around, basically just a short walk.
