Emerald Hotel in Malia

The hotel was absolutely amazing in every way! The service was impeccable, with friendly, smiling staff always ready to assist with anything we needed. The rooms were beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and elegantly decorated, creating a luxurious feel. The common areas were well-kept and pleasant, and the facilities were complete and functional. The location was perfect, and the atmosphere was relaxing, ideal for rest and enjoyment. It definitely exceeded our expectations, and we will surely recommend it and return!

We stayed there for 1 week in September and I was pleasantly surprised both by the room and the central location of the hotel. Despite the fact that it's close to everything, the nights are silent and you can rest comfortably. From our room we had a great view of the mountains.
We tried to explore all we could in the little time we had on the island and we didn't get a chance to try the swimming pool or the foods and coffee they offer but people were always spending time at the bar so everything surely must be delicious.
We will definitely be back here next year, it's all we needed: clean, calm and very well located

I have been coming to this hotel since 2010 and have had an amazing time every time I have been. The hotel is in a great location and all staff are friendly and very helpful. There is nothing they will not do to be attentive to their guests to ensure they have a great holiday and stay.
The gardens, pool and rooms are always clean and well kept.
Overall great experience and very relaxing holiday.

Service
The staff is very friendly and helpful, hotel rooms stay clean and the restaurant/pool are very nice!

Location
The hotel is on the main road that runs through Malia. Motor vehicle rentals are all over the place. By foot, you'll walk twenty seconds to an amazing bakery, two minutes to a bus stop and three minutes to the supermarket.

On the fifteen minute walk to the beach, you'll pass plenty of bars, restaurants, clubs, souvenir shops. Finally, about two minutes away, take a stroll through "Old Town Malia". There you'll find plenty of beautiful restaurants with delicious food!

Rooms
The room was pretty basic. The bathroom was tiny, which made it uncomfortable and near impossible not to flood it when showering. While we could cook in our room, we didn't have any cutlery. A €50/week AC was more than we expected, so we opted to keep our windows open for some relief from the heat. Due to the hotel layout, half of the visitors can see your entire room if the curtains are open.

The beds were comfortable and we were able to put them next to each other. We had more than enough room to store our luggage. The rooms were nicely cleaner every single day, towels every two days.
