Vespasiano 49, Rome1 / 30

Rome, Via Vespasiano 49 (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The room is very close to the Vatican Museums, about a 5-minute walk away. There's also a metro station within a 5-minute walk, so transportation is quite convenient. However, the air conditioner in the room was quite noisy, though it might have been because we weren't familiar with it and didn't adjust it properly. Compared to the price, it's a decent value.
For a 4* boutique hotel, it’s not up to standard. Location is ok if you want to be outside of Roma in a safe area and close to the Vatican. There’s not much to do at night.
Fantastic hotel, staff are lovely and very accommodating. Breakfast is very good value for the price. Location is perfect, few minutes walk from Vatican City right in the center of Rome. Rooms very clean and cosy, would recommend this place to anyone!
Right next to St. Peter's Square, about a 15-minute walk away. If you're visiting the Vatican, this hotel has the biggest advantage. It's clean, safe, and the staff were friendly.
Wonderful hotel if you’re looking specifically to stay near Vatican City. It’s a little far from the other attractions in Rome (especially the main city centre) but there is a train station within 3 minutes and from there you can get to other areas easily. Service staff were friendly and helpful too.
The location is perfect, very close to the Vatican Museums. We could easily walk there after breakfast.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, specially Jonathon, he gave us a city map and explained to us everything we want
We would also like to thank the wonderful hotel, the attentive staff, and the little surprise they made for our wedding.
This is a hotel with a very, very low price-performance ratio. Chinese people should try to avoid it. My family said it is not as good as the Sofitel next door, which is one-third cheaper. The breakfast is at the level of a domestic three-star hotel. The tea bags used are Twinings. This is a hotel that costs nearly 10,000 RMB a night! There are only three small bottles of water in the room and no toothbrushes...
A very charming hotel, very good location and excellent staff. Very spacious room with views of the park, no noise. Very good breakfast also with views of the park. The only detail that I didn't like is that when paying the rates they ask you if you want to include a tip. I think it's an uncomfortable situation since tips to the staff (who deserve them) should always be voluntary.
very good hotel, clean, beautiful place, very authentic hotel ...
Very good check-in experience, good service, five-star standard, and a good location.

Excellent location, very suitable
The room itself was fine for a solo traveler, clean and comfortable enough, but the overall service left a lot to be desired. Some of the basic amenities listed weren’t actually provided, which was disappointing. The real issue was with the staff – they broke my luggage and then denied it, which was incredibly frustrating. I also found the front desk team not very accommodating or helpful when I raised...
The hotel is near the Vatican and you can walk to St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museum. It is very convenient to queue up early in the morning. The room has a bathtub to relieve the fatigue of the journey.
This is a hotel that has been here for many years. The room I stayed in was small but it was fine for one person. The breakfast bread was delicious.
Great hotel. It's very close to visit the Vatican and St. Peter. The rooftop is so beautiful. Breakfast is almost the same as the Italian ones. Bread, coffee and ham. The only drawback is that there is a slight shaking due to the train passing underground.
Overall good but no service to deliver our luggage to our room

The hotel's location is decent, close to the train station, about a 10-15 minute walk. However, the facilities are quite old, and there's a strange smell in the hallways. Breakfast was okay, and there was staff to take your coffee order! Overall, the environment is really subpar! Don't trust the pictures, I repeat three times, and don't rely on the ratings, they're very misleading! In Italy, the service...
Everything was wonderful. The hotel is close to Termini Station, but in a quiet area. There are embassies of various countries on all sides, so it's peaceful, and there's always security. The hotel was clean, and towels were changed daily. The single room was small but comfortable. There was a kettle and a refrigerator. The bathroom was nice, quite large for Italy. The breakfast was standard: omelet...
True to its ancient Roman style, it surprisingly comes with a whirlpool tub. The B line of the subway is quite close. Be aware that some rooms might have bugs. There's no electric kettle in the room, so you can't make tea.
Wonderful hotel, close to the train station, lots of restaurants and cafes
I booked two rooms, one twin room and one single room. The twin room's bed was very small. The single room's bed was okay, but the room itself was very small. The single room was very noisy, facing the street, even with the blinds, windows, and skylights closed. The elevator runs from floor 0 to 4 and can carry 5 people. To get to the 5th floor, you have to transfer to another elevator, which can only...
1. Room is small but it's expected as this is for a single person. 2. All amenities are there. A kettle was also provided. 3. Room cleanliness is top-notch. 4. Expect 10-15 minutes of walking from Termini. 5. Breakfast is so-so. I can't praise anything. 6. Will I choose this hotel again? Definitely yes.

I had a great time. I especially want to compliment the staff, who were very kind and helpful.
Slightly away the termini which is a good thing. Cafe in the area are more local, neighbourhood friendly. Way cheaper than termini tourist trap. Feel safe in this area and this hotel. Would prefer stay in this rather than at termini area.
The overall style is old school (not in a negative sense), and the room facilities are adequate. The way the duvet and cover are folded takes some getting used to. The attic room on the top floor feels a bit stuffy. Overall, the experience was acceptable.

Nice room, functional bathroom, excellent breakfast
Actually everything is good, the furniture is just a bit older, so it's not particularly modern. On top of that, we only had one power socket in the whole room, not even in the bathroom. The bar in the room was empty. Glam Hotel is a strong example of how service is what distinguishes a good hotel from a purely transactional one. They were very accommodating of my special request at the time of booking regarding check-out, and had clearly communicated it to the team. As a result, my check-in process was smooth and I did not need to repeat myself. Throughout my short stay, the staff were professional while remaining...
We had a wonderful six-night stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed every moment of it. The room was stylish, comfortable, and very well maintained, allowing us to relax throughout our entire stay. The location is good, but at least you can't make mistakes when booking a room, otherwise you will suffer heavy losses...
The location is very close to the train station. The only downside is that there were a lot of people passing by and it was close to the shops, so it was noisy at night. The room was very spacious, there was a cycle bike, and I remember the room as having a clean and nice bathroom.

This review is for my fellow Aussies so expectations are realistic. By Australian standards, this hotel is more like a 3 star, not 5 star. Lovely stylish Hotel with a beautiful garden and pool area, perfect for the hot weather when we stayed. Staff are professional and helpful. Amazing Staff, But Poor Value for the Price I recently stayed at Palazzo Dama in Rome and was very disappointed with the value for money. The rate was close to $1,000 per night, but the experience fell far below expectations. Thank you for a fantastic stay; we will certainly be coming back to The First Dolce! Super location, right in the centre, without the noise and overwhelm of the crowds. Amazing staff, Zegna, Virginia, and the whole crew light up the space with their smile and care and go out of their way to make their guests feel comfortable. Grazie mille, ti amiamo!
Excellent quality boutique hotel. Location is great. All staff are super friendly, attentive and professional. Rooms are clean and modern. Breakfast is fantastic. 5 stars rating!
First of all, the hotel is very conveniently located on the famous Corso Street in Rome, and most attractions can actually be reached on foot. The hotel is small and beautiful, and the service is very friendly. Our return flight left the hotel at 6 am, and the hotel prepared a very thoughtful big bag of breakfast for us. I won't say much about the room hardware, it is very modern and comfortable.

The staff wvery helpful and friendly. Jordana, who checked me in, was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
Fantastic hotel, spacious and very clean room. Highly recommended.
A fairly basic, functional hotel in a quiet area. Rooms are basic but. Lean. Quite noisy with thin walls, doors opening and closing etc. The Vatican area of Rome is easily reachable (2 stops) via train and the station is a short 5-8 min walk from the hotel. From the Vatican you can easily walk to the main sites of Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, Pantheon etc. Avoid the buses, they are never on time...

Very nice hotel in old Italian style. Recommended. Stayed here for many times
The hotel did its job as intended. Good location, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was very good (not a five star restaurant but it exceeded what I expected based on what I was going for). I say this and gave my rating on cleanliness knowing it would not be the standard of what we expect in America, no shade thrown on Italy, it is just the truth.
