Our family trip to Rome was unforgettable thanks to our stay at the Portrait Roma. From the moment we arrived, a warm greeting and enthusiastic staff made us feel truly welcome. Everyone there went above and beyond for both us and our 12YO son. The location made sightseeing and shopping effortless. There is a beautiful view of the Spanish Steps from the hotel. We found that we could walk to almost...
A fantastic hotel. There are only 14 rooms so this is a very high touch hotel - the ratio of staff to guest is very, very high. And the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. (We mentioned that we admired the boxed cocktail set and wanted to buy some to gift our friends. Could not be found anywhere in Rome! So they found some in their storeroom and gave them to us.) There is not a large shared...

Our stay, as always in this beautiful hotel, was amazing. The whole experience was just perfect; the room, breakfast at the roof, the ongoing concern for our needs and requests. And overall in one word: Perfect. Thank you and see you again next January (if not before).
This was my second stay at Lugarno Collection Hotels. The first one in Milan at Portrait Milano which was a true great experience, really 10/10. I gotta say Portrait Roma managed to be even superior in terms of service and attention of all the team. It is a challenge to be higher than 10/10 but they managed very well. Location: A bit hard to find, you have to go up a staircase and there are no clear signs. The main issue is that it's not close to either the train station or the metro. It is, however, very close to the Mouth of Truth, just a 3-minute walk. Room Layout: Very confusing, some design choices are incomprehensible. The faucet was hard to move, and some bathrooms had no door for the shower, making it very...
This was the most anticipated project on our Rome trip. I booked it right away after seeing it recommended by Xiaohongshu. The hotel is in a great location, about a few dozen meters from the Mouth of Truth. Many taxi drivers have trouble finding it because it's on a slope. The hotel's style is beyond words: a designer hotel with a unique interior and style. The furniture is also well-appointed, with...
We were upgraded to the largest room, and the entire check-in experience was incredibly smooth. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was incredibly vibrant, with a rich industrial feel, and was incredibly comfortable. The hotel's ground floor houses an art gallery, and the hallways, corridors, and even the rooms are filled with art and designer furniture. This is truly...
The bathroom is very stylish and unique. I have to complain about the stainless steel material, which is uncomfortable and the bathroom is very small. When I shower, water leaks all over the floor.
The hotel's design and ambiance are both beautiful and artistic, and the service is excellent. Although the room rate doesn't include meals, the hotel does provide them. The hotel has a full kitchen with an induction cooktop, oven, and cutlery. The refrigerator is stocked with eggs, three meat options, and milk and yogurt, all free. Other drinks and food are subject to charges. Since I had an early...
Overall it was comfortable. When you check in, they will introduce you to the entire hotel and the layout of the room. I'll talk about the things I was not satisfied with. The breakfast was not good, the bread was cold, and I came back late one night after taking a shower and found that the bath towel and bathrobe should have been taken away and replaced but not put back. It was hard to accept that...

Not the first time here. I’ve been coming back to Hotel Isa since my first time in 2020 ish. At least twice a year. My favorite go to place in Rome. You can walk to almost every famous spot from here.
After requesting a quiet room and having a really bad experience in a vrbo in Rome, we found hotel Isa, a family owned hotel, great experience from the beginning, everybody at the front desk was extremely friendly, profesional and helpful as well in the breakfast and housekeeping. The room was quite, and very clean. We extended our stay twice!! Highly recommend for high sensitive people. Great location...
Very nice hotel and room top terrace , great location and great staff and good accommodation
The Service is the best, really, best personal in every area of the hotel. Amazing expirience. Rooms just a tiny bit old but very elegant. And sometimes a lot of noise at night.
Loved the hotel. The room and staff were pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. The garden rooftop gave great views . I would rate higher, but our shuttle to the airport was very late. They kept making excuses. We ended up getting a cab, which was cheaper.
The room was terribly small and the two beds were placed vertical to each other at the corner, which was weird. The interior design of the room made it feel not clean. Same for the washroom. Breakfast was great. And the staff were very friendly.

The service has improved, but it's still just okay. I felt that some of the staff were discriminatory towards Chinese guests.
Nice Room Very Good breakfast.
Good hotel but location is poor
The location is quite good, and it's suitable for those driving as free parking is available, so you don't have to worry about your car being stolen or damaged. The breakfast was decent, but there's nothing else to really mention. The room's condition, as shown in the attached photos, included small bugs in the bathroom sink.
Located on the ring road, next to a warehouse district, the hotel has its own parking lot with cameras. The lobby is staffed 24/7, and security guards conduct regular patrols. For those traveling by car, it feels quite safe. The gym is small but sufficient for a workout, and breakfast offers a good variety. When I arrived in the evening, the front desk lady's attitude was really poor, but Alessio,...
The room itself was great, but it's really only suitable if you're driving. The nearest bus stop is 2 kilometers away.

Lovely hotel, polite staff and clean rooms. If you don’t mind walking it’s great, as you’ll have to do quite a bit! Around 15-20 minute walk from Termini station. Around 15 minute walk to the nearest Metro station. The Colosseum is around a 20-25 minute walk, and most other sights further than this. Going somewhere like Rome, walking is always expected though! A short walk from the hotel you can...
spacious room but 8-10 mins walk from Metro or bus The room was spacious and comfortable, offering plenty of space to place luggage, which was a big plus. Room is generally quiet. - The only downside is the location, as it takes about 8–10 minutes to walk to the nearest metro or bus stop. - There was a small fridge but was not cold
Clean. About 15-20mins walk to Roma Termini station. We stayed there for 3 nights, room service everyday with all the sheets and towels changed. The only problem that we had but didn’t trouble us too much was the shower door can’t stay closed while having a shower
First and foremost, if you value peace and quiet, definitely avoid this place. There are what look like large fans or blowers between the buildings, and from what I observed, every room except those facing the street is affected – and even those are noisy. On the upside, the cleanliness is good with daily sanitization, the price is decent, and the service attitude is also quite good. It’s a 7-minute...

Great location. Very good and rich breakfast.
The carpets feel dirty and slippers need to be requested. Coffee and tea making facilities was not in room.
The staff was very accommodating. Room was huge, clean and with complete toiletries and hotel slippers unlike some hotels in Rome (they don't provide hotel slippers). The location is very accessible to public transportation and tourist spots too.
hotel too commercial for my ideal target of stay, to the limit of my needs even if only for one night. Zero flavor everything average between decor, food and services. Good for families or people who have a standard with no high level needs.

This hotel was in a great area! Close to shops and dining and it was great to come back to a quieter area after exploring the bustling historic centre all day without feeling out of the action as you are also within walking distance of St. Giovanni and the Colosseum. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Gianfranco, thank you for making our early mornings so cheerful!...
A fantastic experience from several points of view. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is complete and of very good quality. The best part of the hotel is its staff. Everyone is highly professional and strongly focused on customer service. It was a very positive and pleasant experience. I highly recommend this hotel.
Located on busy Via Magnagrecia in the San Giovanni district of Rome, our travel agency booked us for 2 nights at the Best Western Hotel Piccadilly in September for the last leg of our Italy trip. It was a little out of the historic center and a good walking distance to the nearest metro station on the A line. It is here where we were able to see and feel the normal day-to-day Romans, perfect for restaurants...
Excellent hotel. Great breakfast. Prime location.
Everything is perfect. There is a free coffee machine on the first floor, a welcome drink, and great wifi. All the staff are friendly. The heating works well, so it is even hot. If I go to Rome again, I would stay there again. The only downside is that it is a bit far from the subway. But everything else is great, so I would stay there again.
The location was good and the transportation was convenient. (About 7 minutes walk from San Giovani Station) Because of the expensive prices in Rome, I had to stay in a slightly remote location, but I think I will stay here again next time I go! The most memorable thing was the friendly staff, and it was even better because it was quiet and there weren't many people.

The large room was a plus; we had room with the kids and no one bothered us. The downside is that this hotel isn't a 5-star as they sell it. It's an apartment: the water in one of the showers barely flowed, there was no iron, robes, etc. Overall, I wouldn't go back.
One of the most iconic, epic views in the world out your window. Definitely worth it.
To start with the good - the hotel overlooks the Colosseum, the rooms are sizeable, the Michelin star restaurant "Aroma" is TERRIFIC and the breakfast was really lovely, staff included. The bad - the cleanliness of the room could be much improved. Carpets are all stained. For the price, it's somewhat unacceptable. Hotel staff is helpful but could be more welcoming. Hotel has a bar which we thought...
We stayed at Hotel Palazzo Manfredi for two nights, and overall, the experience was moderate — certainly not what we expected for a five-star property in such a prime location near the Colosseum. Room & Comfort The room was elegant in design, but not exceptionally spacious for the price point. While the view of the Colosseum is undeniably impressive, the surroundings were rather noisy, especially...
Aside from its location next to the Colosseum, it offers absolutely no value for money. It's an old, run-down hotel where the whole building shakes when a bus passes by; the overall experience is simply terrible.
The first morning there was construction next door all day, not happy. The water was not provided the 2nd day. For the prices I thought would be better.

All the receptionists at the front desk are so amazing and went above and beyond for our stay here but unfortunately the room itself is not very nice and smell like smoke / weed. Maybe because i stay in the first floor. The restaurant next door is loud on Sat, they has performance on Sat til 3am
We actually loved the location further away from the typical tourist traps, and closer to the gardens. The room was a little small but the cappuccino was the best one I had all trip! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and the rooftop bar restaurants was great to return to at the end of the night
A very pleasant experience! The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast was plentiful and to my liking. The baked basil tomatoes were exceptionally well-made and delicious. Every staff member was very dedicated. When we asked if we could buy a power strip nearby, they lent us one and told us where to buy one. It's a bit far from the scenic areas, but overall it was excellent!
The Tribune set the bar high on my first night in Rome. Special shout out to Elonara for her exceptional service and trying to accommodate my needs after an exhausting flight. I’d also like to thank Roberta from the breakfast buffet/restaurant for her kindness and help. In general, rest of the staff at Tribune are just as polite and welcoming. Hope to return soon. Hotel is also in a great location
Absolutely wonderful hotel and a wonderful location. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. We love staying at Hyatt hotels in general and this one is no exception to their track record of excellent service. I needed somewhere near the Paideia International Hospital, and this looked like the best option, an easy bus ride away. I wouldn’t call it a 4-star room — felt more 3-star given the size of the room and bed, a tiny shower, etc — but the staff were friendly and it worked for my purpose of just having somewhere to sleep.
Our family really enjoyed our stay at the River Chateau. The neighborhood has excellent food/beverage options and is located within walking distance of the historic Ponte Milvio bridge and exercise path. The staff and service at the hotel were exceptional. We stayed in the Presidential Suite and found the room to be quiet and comfortable.
I needed to be in the neighborhood and this hotel was great. Staff was kind and had very nice English capabilities for a non-speaker. Neighborhood was great
River Chateau Hotel has an excellent location: in the evening you can find several restaurants nearby, and walking along the river is a real plus. I often come back mainly for this. However, the rooms feel a bit dated, some with carpet, and in certain cases the bathrooms could use renovation. Overall, the value for money is not the strongest point.
I just had the pleasure of staying at the River Chateau Hotel in the Ponte Milvio part of Rome for the first time. I had a great experience at the hotel which was lovely and the service exceeded my expectations. In a great location. Supermercato is just across the street. Roma Termini is just 5 minutes walk. Comfy beds and pillows. Quite. Very hospitable staff. Breakfast is very good. Hop on/off bus stops are also few minutes away. Their advert pictures are what you would expect to see. I would advise friends to stay here.
The rooms were small, as advertised but the location was perfect right by the main train station. It was easy to get around the city: to catch a bus or a train or a cab. My only problem was the shower was tiny. I could see over the top of the closed doors. Other than that, it was great having breakfast included, a clean room with great plumbing and good Wi-fi.
The location is good, but everything else is just average, especially the room which is so small. It's hard to pass people even if you put your suitcases in it. There's nothing you can do about it. Hotels in Europe are expensive and small.
This hotel is a pleasant surprise accommodation right next to the Termini Train Station. It’s a little different from most hotels I’ve stayed at in Rome and very affordable. The room was small but adequate, a bit old-fashioned but the location was convenient for transport. The breakfast area was nice, but the food itself felt like what you get everywhere in Europe. The front desk staff were warm and helpful, and I noticed quite a few Chinese guests staying here.
To be honest, the hotel is a bit old. It's rare to stay in a place where you still need a physical key to open the door. The key itself is quite heavy and large, making it a little inconvenient to carry around. The soundproofing in the room isn't great; I could still hear kids making a lot of noise upstairs at 1 AM. Very nice hotel. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Close to the Vatican, walking distance. The staff was very accommodating, especially the breakfast staff. Overall, enjoyed my stay. Thank you.
Room was decent, but we noticed lighting was a bit poor and the cleanliness of the room and tub was average. Hot tub had some dirt debris coming out from the jets and made us not want to use it at all. AC took awhile to cool the room too. Breakfast dining was great and so was the front desk service. Overall was okay but expected better for a 4 star hotel.
The hotel itself is clean and quiet. It is a little tired but the location is perfect for any Vatican City. The staff were excellent, spoke perfect English and very helpful. Breakfast is the best. Carmen makes a great cappuccino and is kind and welcoming. She is a superb hostess. I loved my stay at this charming hotel.

Our stat was great! We arrived early and the staff was very nice and stored our luggage so we can start travel. The room was great, very clean and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was served between 7:00 - 11:00 and it was great. The only thing is that the coffee was from a machine and not from manual barista (Im a cappuccino guy). The location was amazing, 5 minutes walk from everything.
Was really great, stuff are really kind and helpful
Everything is perfect, perfect location and breakfast. The hotel’s vibe is very traditional ROMA. the front desk is very warm and kind. I love the front desk people.

Great location, rooms where not big,,so a challenge with luggage,, old world charm.. bathroom was perfect.. lobby is small and offers a small gathering area,,, breakfast was excellent
The hotel room is small, but the location is good, so it's not too difficult to travel.
We had a 2 night stay here after a recent cruise. We were in room 114. Room wasn’t a bad size. Traditional decor. Bed was fairly hard. Shower room had decent shower. There was a coffee machine as well as a kettle. Tv safe hanging rail as opposed to wardrobe. Aircon worked ok. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok not great. The location of the hotel wasn’t bad and we found some nice restaurants...
Good location, short walk to No8 hop on hop off bus stop which is vlose to Trevi fountain. Staff great, our room was a good size. Very happy with this hotel
Overall, it doesn't feel good.
The room isn’t very spacious, but it is super clean. They also provided high-quality hygiene products, even including a lip balm. The location is within walking distance of the main attractions, and the receptionist was very kind and patient. For this price, I think it’s the best we could ask for — I would definitely stay again.
