Absolutely loved our stay here! The Castello San Marco really is charming! The property is beautiful, the room was extremely spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was fantastic, and we can't say enough about how lovely the staff was! Alexandra and Flavia were so wonderful and helpful with everything we asked for

Wonderful stay Absolutely charming - the perfect combination of modern resort amenities with old world ambience and sophistication. Only thing I would change is the menu at the restaurant

Would have ate there every night if the food wasn’t all so gourmet. Instead had to find other places in town for something more casual and traditional

My partner and I stayed here for a week long holiday. The property and staff are amazing. Good dining on and near property and amazing pool and beach. Taormina is a short taxi ride away and very accessible

Stayed for a week with 3 friends. Our rooms were lovely and clean and we were supplied with clean towels everyday. The reception desk always very helpful

My experience was very positive: Rooms were clean (even slightly before check-in time), breakfast was good, SPA was great (we experienced massage, pedicure, sauna, pool, etc. Noise in the room was not an issue

The only remark I have is that for breakfast, the option to have scrambled eggs would be great! And I feel like the bacon they had was not really bacon, but another time of ham. All in all, I will recommend this hotel!

I needed a Dr and was promptly recommended to many in the Taormina area. Breakfast had a great selection, plenty to eat. This hotel is not the Ritz but location is great and budget friendly

Close to the water if you are interested. Great location to drive into/out of Taormina and Mtn Etna. Asked the front desk to chill a special bottle of wine and the graciously did so

After a week at a villa near the local beach, we just spent 2 unexpected extra nights at the Hotel Groticelli (due to cancelled flights home) and we all agreed it's a great place to stay, with amazing views, warm and helpful staff (receptionist helpfully speaks English), plenty to choose from at breakfast, and easy to access

5mins from the hotel are several popular beaches (stony, not sand) such as Cala Mazzo di Sciacca, accurately described on Google as a 'Rocky inlet with clear waters popular for swimming & snorkelling, beach chair rentals & a snack bar', and Tonnara di Scopello

Beautiful hotel with the most gorgeous view of the mountains! The pool and beach were amazing as well and the staff were so friendly! They had a lot of tips for different sights to see

The air-conditioned rooms have spacious terraces in front, and there is a pool (goes to 1. 9m deep) for relaxing in, with outdoor showers etc. It's only 40min-drive along the gorgeous coast to/from Palermo airport

The hotel is also a few mins from a couple of excellent supermarkets - one of which is very upmarket with a great range of produce - a pharmacy, a great pizzeria, and a bar-restaurant for coffees and granita, etc

This is a fabulous place to stay in the area. Clean simple rooms in a delightful setting, do have dinner as the food is very good indeed Salvo the chef knows how to cook and Emanuela foh looks after you well

We celebrated our wedding at Capo Campolato and it was the best decision ever! Since the first meeting, the team welcomed us and accompanied us all throughout the preperations with professionalism and kindness, even with our special requests: they handled them with care and respect

The apartment was great, good night of sleep other than the early morning bangs and clangs form the room I was in which had the cleaners cupboard, sometimes at 6:30 am in the morning

The place is magical with an amazing view, the decoration was excellent (just like we wanted) and our guests can't stop talking about how good the food was! If you are considering this venue for your wedding, do not hesitate

While morw than 10 minutes away from almost anything the Atmosphere, the rooms ans facilities made for a much needed place to relax during our stay on the island

I just read a ridiculous review where the author claims it’s dangerous (“across the street from a ghetto”), complaining that the beach smells (yes, like seaweed), expensive ( purely subjective of course but how many hotels in the world offer magnificent terrace views for 175 a night?), and, stupidest of all, complaining that all she could watch was Italian television! She says she didn’t feel safe...

Nice deck overlooking the ocean and pool. 30 min walk to town and 30 minute walk to the gondola. Nice walking and biking path just outside the hotel along the main road and ocean

I found the hotel very clean, the private beach was quiet and wasn't dirty as described by some travellers. Perhaps it's because October is not peak time. The hotel's minibus shuttle bus service is useful

It a new hotel, far from the city but a very nice place to stay. It’s on the beach and has a restaurant. You don’t need to go out to eat.

It's walkable from the hotel to Trapani town centre, along the beach, though it's a little far for me

Our stay at Ai Vicere was absolutely excellent. Rooms were modern and clean, small yet comfortable. The staff were excellent with service, incredibly friendly. Breakfast was always very good

We biked the Sicily Divide; starting and ending in Palermo. Our bike bags were stored here which really helped with our logistics. We want to bring the wonderful hosts with us for the rest of our trip

Perfect breakfasts, every morning we were suprized by a different meal. minimum distance from the centre, we were situated next to the Teatro. Reccomend if you are visiting Palermo and its wide area!

Close to the main attractions, the parking and the market. Thousands of restaurants and taverns for every taste. Wonderful Responsive and polite staff. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart

All the staff are so kind and helpful and Vanessa the receptionist, is so friendly and gave great advice and assistance in where to visit. I would definitely recommend staying here

4* Hotel which is a little outdated, but rooms are clean; breakfast is very nice (typical Sicilian food - fresh food and orange juice); free parking; nice location along the boardwalk (it takes 5-10 minutes to walk to the center); free sun beds at the beach

Reception didn’t provide the Wi-Fi password or mention the towels for the beach club, so we had to return to the front desk to get them. Breakfast was okay, but it really should be included in the room rate

Staff was very friendly and accommodating! Location was the best! Walking distance to everything! Access to pool and beach clubs was a very nice bonus surprise

ok hotel accross the beach Cefalu The hotel feels outdated for the price. There’s no pool on-site—you have to walk about 100 meters to a nearby beach club, which was closed when we arrived and is quite small

The hotel keeps it 90s flavour, which is kind of cool. Breakfast and dinner was all right, stuff is really friendly. The best thing is the location, just at the beach at the calm site of Giardini Naxos

We stayed last week in this hotel, honestly, given the bad reviews, I asked to see the room first, the very kind lady at the reception showed it to me with a lot of patience, the hotel is not new but the location, the cleanliness and the kindness of the staff are unparalleled, we returned this weekend too, and we will return for the next ones

Everything was ok, we slept very well, the food was varied and the breakfast was plentiful. Large swimming pool with a slide for children and clean, very kind staff, if I have to criticize the TV you couldn't see it

Very nice, fun guaranteed! The room is very nice, the only flaw is that the doors open easily and it is a bit dangerous. In the restaurant you can eat very well, the same thing as in the pizzeria. I love this place

One very annoying red haired woman who shouts through a microphone when she talks to people 2 metres away from her. Decent music, but not very peaceful as lots of noise, especially very late at night on some occasions

Compact structure allows you to reach all spaces within a few steps. Reception, bar, restaurant and cleaning staff of excellent competence, professionalism, kindness and availability

You could always change your beach towels, which was very convenient. The hotel provided a beach bag right away and packed it, which was definitely a plus

This review is for the Grecale restaurant that is located by the lobby of this hotel. First is the location: in front of the bay where you will enjoy an amazing view of the sea and the beach while people walk by

Excellent for a 3 star restaurant. Comfy, good decor, air conditioned rooms, good restaurants. Even offers a private beach and a valet park service, which is essential in S. Vito. Excellent value for money too.

Beautiful garden, pool with free towels, private beach access with sunbeds and umbrellas. Near many restaurants, bus stop to Palermo. Rooms towards the sea with a balcony and much better than on the road

Hotel staff was excellent and spoke very good English. Breakfast was great, had hot and cold selections and good service. Location and view were outstanding and a nice walk to either the beach or city center

Pool was unfortunately empty of water, so we had to get vouchers for the private beach daily

Our room was very clean and had plenty of space with a very nice bathroom and excellent shower. A bit dated but who cares when it is clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Everything was perfect, location is amazing-sea view, there were not many people and it was silent. Beach is opposite the hotel, free sun bed is included. Parking space is also opposite the hotel

The menu is slightly limited (in a normal time I would take off a star). The room is clean and the view of the beach is to die for

I didn’t mind as I had booked for 7 nights and there are also beaches nearby and didn’t worry too much as I knew I came out of season. Overall I enjoyed my stay, I wanted a quiet getaway and I got just that!

Positives and negatives: beach side with access to the rocky beach. Quiet area, but next to the railway tracks. Without the car it might be difficult to find any transport, long walk uphill to the town

I did get there late and none of the telephone numbers worked and despite my arrival before 10pm reception was closed and everywhere was dark (no lighting by the pool!) However when I did flag down a member of staff they were helpful, showed me to the room which I thought was very nice and clean

Bar and restaurant (dinner overpriced for quality). Breakfast is quite poor and repetitive. Room spacious , outdated, and worn equipped with little fridge but air conditioning very loud, we had to turn it off at night

I also didn’t hire a car so walked everywhere and used the trains frequently (lots of steps and uphill walks though; so if you can I’d say hire a car especially for a short stay and if you’re less abled to walk)

Not much goes on in the town either so I was a frequent visitor in Cefalù roughly 25 minutes on the train. Breakfast was adequate with new items added every day so you had a couple of mixed choices

We have had seven nights here in the Bai Taormina Hotel where the friendly staff make you feel part of the family, which encourages the guest to mingle and chat and spend the evenings together

I can’t recommend this lovely hotel enough when I visit Sicily this will be where i will be staying. Well done to all the staff here showing much more expensive hotels how it should be done!

It’s also built into the side of a hill with the hotel on three or four different layers with three or four different lifts taking you up and down the hill side and up and down the hotel

Sanny saved my life with a gin tonic. The resort is really great and all staff are amazing! But shout out to Sanny and Cristian for the amazing treatment that i had in my first day.

All presided over by Maitre Dhotel Leo Grasso who went out of his way every evening, to make it special for all the guests including ourselves even organising a vegan birthday cake

Room cleaned everyday and bed linen changed 3 times in a week Ottavio was extremely helpful throughout the stay and a credit to the hotel staff Hotel is 5 minute walk from restaurants and 10 minutes to the beach

Location is the best! Hotel is very near the sandy beach and also a 100 meters away from the public bus station from where departs busses to Catania, Siracusa, Taormina and the airport

the staff did an amazing job at replenishing items and clearing tables. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. There is a pleasant beach nearby with a few nice restaurants

The pool area was very tidy and clean with lots of sunbeds to choose. Breakfast was perfect for us with fresh yoghurt, ham, eggs, cereals, pastries and fruit to choose from

but you can also walk 10 minutes to the other closest beach which has a lively ***** of restaurants and bars. Additionally you can get on a bus to Taromina which costs 1

The hotel provided TV & Air Con with a continental breakfast it has a large-ish pool and sun bed area with outside bar The staff are extremely helpful and friendly this is another gem of an hotel which delivers highly recommended

A beautiful place, with a private beach and swimming pool. A quiet place about 5 km from Palermo. There are several nice restaurants nearby. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent.

The lady working during breakfast was really nice and welcoming. The staff at the reception tried their best to be informative. They solved all issues and answered all of our questions

The room number we had was ground floor. The room itself has all the basic needs and the cleaning staff would provide new shampoos and towels daily. Our room had a balcony with a view on the sea

Hi, we were here in June. Nice hotel with caring employees. Wonderful site. Restaurant : a place to be : spaghetti vongole very good with a local white wine just mind blowing. Waiters are professional and caring as well!

The private beach that is connected to the hotel was so safe and organised. There is a secure entry and reception to it. Non hotel members can use the beach but have to pay a fee

Hotel members can access beach for free but need to pay for umbrella and beds if needed(€15). Beach also provides locked private changing rooms. As well as there is a lifeguard and security in place

Beautiful sandy beach one can’t get enough of and is mostly visited by families. The neighbouring private beach Saracen have louder cheerful music and beach activities which adds to the fun

There is a small play ground for kids to play in and a Volleyball game in the area for teenagers and older. There is also a good reasonable priced cafeteria at the beach
