Our hostess, Francesca was the best hostess we’ve ever come across in our many years of travel in Italy. She above and beyond our expectations. Free breakfast was very good. Room was nice and balcony was nice, with a descent view. Beds were nice and cozy. Pool area clean and nice, maintained well by Francisco and Lucia.

Average hotel with bumped up prices for the summer season, which is to be expected. Positives - air conditioning in the rooms (but strangely not in the reception or bar area), there's a pool and the staff are pleasant. Negatives - the breakfast was pitiful and pretty low quality. It's meant to run until 10.30am, however we went down at 9.30am on 2 mornings to find practically nothing left - 3 slices...

The view and pool were just amazing! We loved having our own terrace equipped with a hammock, chairs and a little salon table. This gave us some extra privacy when we wanted to have a glass of wine at our room.

The Hotel Arcangelo was a peaceful haven after spending a month on hot, busy Sicily. The hotel is between Via Roma and Via Sanità overlooking the sea from above. If you have rolling suitcases, use Via Sanità to avoid the steps on Via Roma. We had booked a Superior Double Room with Terrace and Sea View. Room 205 was spacious, air-conditioned, and even had a ceiling fan which seems rare in Europe...

The room was spacious and newly renovated, but the soundproofing was a bit poor. There was free parking, and it was very close to Taormina by car. There were supermarkets and some tourist restaurants nearby, which was quite convenient. Breakfast was rather basic.

Overall a great stay for the price. Saying it’s a 4 star hotel is a bit of a stretch. There was a tiny hole in the ceiling and water damage on some of the floor but the balcony with a view was great. The beach is fantastic and the breakfast is great. Everything gets charged to your room onsite so lunch, dinner, drinks, snacks which is really nice.

We could not recommend Minareto more! The room was just as advertised with gorgeous views across the water to Ortigia. The massages were amazing, and the private beaches, pool and jacuzzi meant we felt no need to leave the resort. An absolute beautiful small hotel to stay in. Very organised and atmosphere is very charming and relaxing. One thing about this hotel that i will definitely come back is the location, cleanliness and its right in front of the supermarket . I recommend you to take double room and its so affordable :) . And don't forget to bring cash for tourist tax. All perfect! The location is very convenient, the owner helpful and kind, the room clean and the breakfast good. The only flaw is that the rooms are not soundproofed and you could hear the music of the nearby clubs but in Panarea you know, you don't sleep! :) We even got a chance to shower after check out! Worthy of note, among the delightful narrow streets of Panarea, five minutes from the port, is this excellent structure. Hospitality and availability of the owner and all the staff to best solve every request are the basis of a pleasant stay. Large, bright rooms, equipped with every comfort, with breathtaking views.

I recommend this resort from the bottom of my heart. Everything - honestly everything - was perfect! Accommodation - so clean and nice to stay in a room, luxurious view, loads of green palms and bushes in a resort and kitchen? I bet you put some killos on like we did :). The resort was wonderful, food was really good, the Bravo staff was great. The only improvement could be the quality of the VOI Concierge activities, we joined the Lipari/Vulcano one and it was expensive and unsatisfactory, I would suggest to future guests to check external activities not ones organised by the resort.

Look it’s for Italian people as the whole place is Italian speaking simple as that We booked through BA who misled us totally and paid extra for fully inclusive which it isn’t . The hotel was renovated from an old post office, and it still has the characteristics of that era. But unfortunately the hotel did not put in any effort in this regard, such as arranging some guided tours.

Absolutely the best hotel in Siracusa! We were upgraded to a sea view loft suite for free! Very large room, harbor view outside the window, clean bedding, luxurious breakfast, and warm service. We went in the off-season and parked in front of the hotel for 16.5 euros a day.

Old hotel. They keep it clean and they’re very very nice people, but it’s not the nicest place, the walls are paper thin and you’re still 20 minutes from Taormina which isn’t mentioned in the description.

The location is beautiful, with a private part of the beach with a small bar, and a nice pool area and restaurant on the hill above next to the hotel. The condition of the facilities was spotless, the staff friendly and the price competitive. The only thing that was not quite up to expectations was the breakfast.

Thanks to the Modica Beach resort and all it's staff for their support in organising our beach wedding. It was a fabulous day and we loved every moment. We especially want to thank the directors, the chefs, the maître d', the bartender and everyone else involved behind the scenes. The reception staff were really helpful. In fact they were brilliant. Free tea,coffee and water was always available from near reception. The room was a little dated, the air con wasn't working properly, but it did slightly cool the room. Some of the electrical sockets are burnt and need to be renewed. The hotel iand staff are great. The pubs in the area when they are open Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are very loud and even with the windows closed you better be a heavy sleeper or you will have to wait until 5am to get some sleep. Other than that the staff is there when needed breakfast was good.

If you need a hotel with stunning views and great access to the cable car, this is the place. The staff's response is immediate. For any request, their answer is YES, and then they clarify what is needed. They react promptly to minor complaints. Everything is of very high quality and pleasant. Because of this, even tipping the staff was not an issue. Water was replenished every day. The only downside...

Even though we stayed for one night, we could appreciate the availability, welcome and attention of the staff. The care of the structure inside a historic center expresses the love for the territory, unfortunately not followed in the surrounding area, perhaps more interest is needed from the local administration. Precise services, rich breakfast and maximum availability to satisfy every request.

First they tried to give as a massive “ downgrade” ( room without real window ) - after showing the booking this was fixed, but without any apologies. On the other hand staff was very enthusiastic and helpful regarding the surrounding/ restaurants and tours.

A very warm welcome when we checked in. Very useful explanations. Good recommendations for attractions and restaurants. The beach is quite rocky and difficult to swing in front, even with water shows. We went to neighbor beach for easier access. Breakfast good too. Overall very a very good hotel

Peaceful setting with full of trees and plants, great views of the sea, relaxed atmosphere, right in the water with access to sea - although no sandy beach, a quiet swimming spot.

We are a family of four and the Quadruple room was perfect for us. Giusy was great, responsive and accommodating. While we were unloading luggage from our car, she found and pointed out a parking spot for us, right next to the hotel, which saved us hassles of driving to a paid parking lot. The breakfast was delicious and wonderful. Our stay in Agrigento was brief but La Nuova Girgenti made it special...

We just loved this B&B. They are wonderful hosts and the room was great. The town might need to help tourists more but we had a great time. The manager was a great help with suggesting restaurants and transportation. A+++

This is a comfortable ,convenient and well organised place to stay to enjoy the historic centre of Agrigento. While you cannot take your car right to the main road to drop luggage then there are convenient Carparks in close range. Our hosts provided accurate information to navigate in the old city.

We parked at Vittorio Emanuele with fairly level walk across to accommodation (parking was busy with limited spaces, excess coin payments roll over to next day period on machines!).
