The sea facing rooms are lovely . The STANDARD rooms are small with the worst views I’ve ever seen …. You can almost touch the laundry lines on the building opposite. I’m not exaggerating. !

The friendliness of the front desk staff was a definite highlight – truly a pleasure! Our room was huge and the bed incredibly comfortable, which definitely earns it a perfect 10! However, the bathroom and the furnishings were quite dated. As for breakfast, it was fantastic, as B&Bs usually are, with a great variety, and everything we tried was delicious!

Excellent cleanliness and a very welcoming reception, who gave great recommendations for dinner. The breakfast was superb, with everything fresh. The only minor issue, if you can even call it one, was the shortage of teaspoons at the buffet, with only two or three ever seeming to be available.

The location is very good, get to the catherdral from the garden only takes 3 minutes. We can see Etna from our balcony. The Sky roof top restaurant is vey nice, good food and wine, with view of Etna. Breakfast is also there, very nice selections.

We were very satisfied with the room, located on the second floor. There wasn't the rooftop music we expected at night. A highlight was the complimentary lemonade at the front desk, and they could help call a taxi to the bus terminal (note that you should make sure the taxi fare is the same as what you agreed beforehand, as they might try to charge extra). A large property just outside of central Noto, but walkable. Huge and easily accessible parking lot was appreciated. Breakfast service could use one more coffee machine- line got long at times. Access to pool is a bit of a walk and getting around inside of this huge property can be confusing but overall, a nice stay.

The minute I went into my room you could smell the mould. The bathroom needs either a deep clean or a total Reno, Carpets in the hallways were faded and buckled - major trip hazard. Although the reception area looked nice that didn’t flow through to the rooms. Service in the restaurant was abysmal - 2 hrs to put together a plate of cold meat & cheese, did not appear to have enough staff in the kitchen...

Very basic services. Rooms are ok, breakfast is in an upleasant echoing space. The selection is very limited except for sweets In between and for lunch you have to move to other places because there is no offer. Most of the staff is unfriendly

Close to Ragusa, parking, pool, resort style hotel

We had this as one of our stops for 2 nights. Lovely hotel. Very clean and quiet. No traffic sounds and very peaceful. Good breakfast and nice staff. Room was well organized and clean nice decor. Would recommend it to anybody who wants time away from hurly burly. We didn't have time to experience the pool or spa unfortunately.

Great Hotel with wonderful ocean views  where staff are very helpful

Everything was perfect, location is amazing-sea view, there were not many people and it was silent. Beach is opposite the hotel, free sun bed is included. Parking space is also opposite the hotel. Breakfast and service also great. Room is big (I had room for 3). If you need to relax, enjoy the silence and spend time in peace atmosphere- go there.

We purchased upgraded room quality, so we were living in main building and everything was good with rooms, spacious, beautiful balcony. What we didn’t like: service, when checking in, no instructions were given, what includes the room and what doesn’t, which resulted in us paying the fee for sunbeds, 20 euros, and only later on we discovered that all that time the sunbeds were included in our rooms...

We stayed at the time when Covid mainly kills livelihood. Nevertheless, the hotel managed beautifully. The reception staff are great, also the restaurant. The menu is slightly limited (in a normal time I would take off a star). The room is clean and the view of the beach is to die for. Great location.

The front desk was great everyday we were there especially Rosanna, Irene and Chiara. The wait staff in the restaurant who work morning, noon and night are amazing and couldn’t be more helpful then they were. Our rooms were beautiful and had amazing ocean views. My husband and I had traveled from Taormina to Cefalù for 2 nights and our experience with Alberi del Paradiso exceeding all expectations. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four nights and loved it. The location requires a bit of a hike (or shuttle) but we didn’t mind walking off our pasta and gelato. The staff is so kind, welcoming, and very helpful. The breakfast is incredible. Our room was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed visiting the beach club at the sister hotel across town. We had a luxurious stay at Alberi! The staff kindly met our request for a better view and were so gracious. The terraces set up for breakfast are a delight and so elegant and pretty. This hotel has a lot going for it in terms of location, close to the bus stop, Politeama, from the airport, walk to old city, and lots of restaurants. The staff are very nice and helpful, and it is very clean. Our room had a great view over the city to the west. It has both an elevator and a beautiful spiral staircase with wrought-iron railings. Staff at front desk were very helpful and willing to help out with recommendations for food, trips. Housekeeping was prompt. Air conditioning did work but a little noisy but probably shut off from November. Location is certainly an advantage as can walk to most places

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with my girlfriend. First, I’d like to mention the negative aspects. The air conditioner kept turning on and off by itself, and no matter what we did, we couldn’t fix it. You might wake up in the middle of the night either sweating or freezing. Really great, central location. Our room was really spacious and the walls were not as thin as in other Sicilian hotels. However, we had a problem with our toilet not flushing that took more than 24 hours to fix. There's a very small lobby and restaurant and they had no computer. You have to climb up and down slanted steps to get to and from the street.

A truly underrated hotel! The staff, accommodations, food and service were amazing! The views of Palermo from our balcony were great and being outside the city centre away from the hustle and bustle was refreshing. If you have a car it is definitely easier to come and go (driving is not for the faint of heart though, so be warned) being that it is up the mountain, but they provide a shuttle service...

Vacation in Palermo Absolute stunning views! Loved the location even though it was 20 minutes from town. The quiet area versus busy city traffic noise was better for sleeping.

The location is amazing, near lots of shops, a train station and a 2 minute walk straight to the beach. The rooms are not the greatest, as some areas are not too clean, it is a bit outdated and the air con was not on (which might just be because it is not in the summer when I visited). I can sincerely recommend this hotel — it has a perfect location, just a three-minute walk from the beach. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and always ready to help. The room was spacious, with an even larger balcony offering a stunning sea view. On the top floor, there’s also a beautiful terrace where you can sunbathe and enjoy the beautiful view.

We have stayed here for 5 days. The staff was helpful, the cleaniness of the hotel rooms was really good, the AC works from 14:00 till about 6:00 in the morning but the rooms don't get that hot. The issue is if there are loud guests at the hotel because everything can be heard - water running through the pipes, every move of the furniture etc. The breakfast was nice, however there's not much variety...

This place is perfect for when you want to visit Sicily and stay at the beach away from the crowd of Taormina. The rooms are efficient and clean. Our stay at the Hotel delle Palme in Letojanni, Sicily, could not have been better. The entire staff of the hotel were wonderful and accommodating. Comfortably located close to Mt. Etna, Siracusa, Taormina and other landmarks. Rooms were comfortable and the sea view rooms offered a great vista. Letojanni itself reminded us of our hometown - small, quiet, homey. Great stay in a wonderful place.

A very basic hotel, with breakfast consisting of just a few croissants, yogurt, toast, and hard-boiled eggs. The staff is friendly, but the welcome isn't particularly warm. Parking must be booked in advance and can only accommodate two cars, as it's simply in the courtyard. For a four-star hotel, it was a disappointing experience. The hotel's location is beautiful. Our room with its large balcony was fantastic! Unfortunately, at the start of the season, the terrace wasn't ready yet. It was rather dingy. We were offered this hotel as an alternative to one we'd first booked which became unavailable. Spent 5 days at the Carlton Riviera Hotel and there were both positives and negatives. A beautiful location, right on the coast, so fantastic sea views and private (pebbly) beach onto clear, shallow waters. Plenty of room around the pool. Unfortunately, it's a fair distance from any shops restaurants etc...

On reservation of tables in the restaurant which remain empty for a long time for nothing and prevent those who arrive early from eating at the table of their choice. Mosquitoes spoiling the meal. Some excursions are expensive paid for the service rendered/delivery. Crowded shuttle, some passengers have to make the journey standing...

This is a lovely and reasonably priced hotel centrally located in Palermo. The hotel , the room , the staff and the amenities were all wonderful. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely outstanding and their small restaurant was very relaxing and classy. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Very central yet quiet location, easily accessible by car, valet parking for €25 per night, works perfectly. "Old-style" room with carpet, everything a bit worn, thinly soundproof, very good check-in/out.

The room was very small and the bathroom had no storage or shelves for wash kits, so had to put everything on the floor. The staff was friendly, but a complaint over the lack of ventilation in the bathroom was not resolved. La Plage has magnificent views of the sea and the iconic Isola Bella. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the staff are friendly and attentive. Be aware that the beach is rocky and hard to walk on and it’s difficult to enter and exit the sea for a swim. It’s easy to get up to Taormina via the funivia (cable car) for a 10€ round trip.

Excellent structure, located a little outside Acireale. Comfortable rooms with beds equipped with new mattresses. Beauty kit in the bathroom. Beautiful swimming pool and very well-kept garden. The cuisine is excellent with a varied breakfast with sweet and savory things. I'll be back.

This was part of a package holiday, so it is probably not appropriate to comment on the quality of the food. However, the rooms were very clean, although the pillows and matrasses were quite hard. The biggest complaint was the very poor WiFi. In the reception/restaurant it was adequate but in the bedrooms, it was terrible. When complaining to the duty manager, we were given a disingenuous answer.

As unfortunately happens in my beloved southern Italy, the place is fantastic but....it wouldn't take much. Rooms furnished in the 70s, poor bathroom amenities, breakfast and dinner without fresh local products (which would cost even less). Sin

The structure is clean and is in a strategic point to easily reach different cities to visit in the surrounding area! Reception and restaurant staff always polite and friendly and ready to satisfy every request with a smile! The pool is always clean and welcoming for guests to enjoy a bit of relaxation. Being the days of August we also had an entertainment service available that cheered up the evenings...

Aged in our 40s, we brought the average age of hotel guest down considerably! The setting of the hotel is beautiful and the climb up the steps to the viewpoint is stunning. It would be lovely if there was a bench to sit and enjoy it, the steps had been weeded and a proper path cut. Breakfast was good, despite the chairs being covered in crumbs from previous guests. However, there are a lot of improvements...

Nice location in the vineyard in the top of the hill. Great view to Lipari Islands. But terrible road to property and bad sound isolation between rooms. Our neighbor family with two child's laugh talking until midnight and then we heard baby crying until 2h. Excellent breakfast with real red orange "spremuta".

Beautiful setting, quiet and luxurious. Food was amazing. We had the Chef’s special menu for 50 Euro as it was so good. We had to leave early in the morning due to a train strike but they provided breakfast before we left which was nice of them. Beautiful converted monastery into a hotel in the hillsides with wonderful views. The facilities were wonderful with everything that you could hope for, staff at reception always very helpful and our room was lovely and spacious. Can definitely recommend a stay at this fabulous place.

The hotel is located in a very quiet area hidden in the hills between Cefalu and Castelbourno. Hiring a car is a must. The rooms are quintessentially Italian, the storage in our room was limited, with just one wardrobe between 2 adults staying for 10 nights was quite tricky but we managed, otherwise the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel grounds were beautiful we enjoyed our runs in the morning...

The most amazing experience ever.  The view from our balcony - we stayed on the 4th floor and had the most magnificent view of the sea, the whole Taormina city.  Glorious during the day and spectacular during the night.  The breakfast was beyond expectations. Hotel with an amazing view! A had a room with sea view and balcony. There is an amazing view to the Ionic sea and Etna from the balcony. The hotel also have a pool and spa zone. A very good place to relax!

It's definitely dated but very clean, very relaxing and just enough away from the crowds that it was super enjoyable. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, and had parking which is so rare in taormina. Pool was terrific, no competing for lounge chairs. Room was a great size and compared to other prices, was very good value.

Booked a double room with a balcony & got allocated a single room with no balcony. Emailed hotel 3 times to refund difference in price & they are ignoring me. Real shame as good hotel in great location but no customer service & don't feel ignoring emails is the response you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. Very disappointing

Modern and clean bathroom. Comfortable mattress. Friendly bellhop, though the front desk was a bit limited. Good breakfast. The insulation feels a bit thin, and with wood floors we heard every dropped coin and corridor conversation. Quiet streets on both sides.

Lovely hotel with garden courtyard. Breakfast had a great selection and enjoyed sitting having breakfast in the courtyard. Not too far to walk to the train station , about 15 mins and the bus stop for the Alibus to the airport was about 7 min walk.

A pleasant, clean hotel with an old world charm from the 50's. Our room was clean and quite, the bed (2 singles pushed together) was very hard. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit and pastries. The hotel is magnificent, with a beautiful little garden and corridors. The staff speaks excellent English, making communication easy. They are warm, friendly, and very helpful. The 24-hour front desk is a rare find. The location is a 10-15 minute walk from major attractions, the train station, and the bus station.
