Nice hotel. Outside of historic center but it is easy to travel to any part of the city using busses (a bus passes in front of the hotel every 10 min or so). Several dinning options within walkable distance.

The staff were welcoming, and the room was comfortable and quiet.

Nice hotel directly at the sea in quiet location with big rooms if you go for the bigger rooms. Breakfast buffet is very nice as well. The one small thing I did not like is the following: their website advertises a whirlpool in the room. However, there is just a regular sized bathtub with jets. This is certainly no whirlPOOL. We stayed at this hotel 7 days as a first part of our honeymoon. When we entered the room, we were greeted with a bottle of prosecco as a gift from the owner which was lovely! The room was very clean, the staff was kind to us and even helped us rent a car for a fair price. The breakfast was great with plenty of choice- from eggs to cakes. In general, we loved it!

Beautiful hotel in a convenient but quiet area right behind the duomo! The staff was very helpful, especially when I had to ask for advice during a train strike. Sadly, as I live locally and was checking the hotel for friends, I cannot recommend this hotel. I had booked a Junior suite and was dismayed to find a large room with an additional sofa bed rather than a suite. Updated modern hotel, but if you don’t have a car there isn’t much to walk too. Location is not ideal unless you plan on spending the entire time at the hotel. The Seawater hotel is a very nice and comfortable place to stay at. The spa is nice and we enjoyed the food. There is a special area to dry kite-gear overnight. Staff is very friendly, we would come back.

The hotel is a good choice for a short stay. The room is large, the bed is comfortable, service staff is friendly. The downside is that, even the hotel is located in a convenient location, it's too close to some run-down neighborhoods. I suggest the hotel staff provide guidance to the guests on areas to avoid.

Our stay in Catania was great. The hotel manager went above and beyond helping us on multiple occasions. The area and views from the hotel were less than scenic but a short walk away was the dining, shopping, and historic areas. It was a little unnerving to find the hotel lobby door was locked on the inside so we could not exit without the desk clerk and his key when leaving early.

Booked this room for one night for my children arriving to join a family vacation. Area is riddled with prostitutes. No parking. Unsafe to walk in evenings as single females. Very basic room. Clean. The stay was wonderful. They have an excellent staff and they serve excellent breakfast. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Great spot to visit Taormina Room was clean and perfectly as described. Pool was also a great feature. Good location, bit of a climb into town but not too bad once you know what to expect. Good location. Walkable to city sites. Initial impression was awful. We arrived 4:30 pm. Gate was locked, office closed. Whatsapp had malfunctioned so we did not get instructions how to access property after hours. Grumpy old men finally came to gate, yelling at us and refused to open gate.
