I like quirky, bijou hotels. This one was perfect. It isn't hard to find on Google Maps, but it does hide behind a big, (to some perhaps uninviting) street door where you buzz for access. Very spacious room, huge bed and comfortable mattress. The air conditioning is controlled by the hotel management, it cannot be set up individually in each room. We stayed here only one night. The location is strategic, close to the ferry harbour, at least one of them, to the train station and to one of the main squares. The hotel looks like an 80 vintage gem in need of a refreshing. But overall it's still in a nice condition.

We had an excellent experience during our Christmas stay. The property and rooms were well-appointed. The cleanliness and tranquility were excellent. A wide selection of breakfast options were available at the adjacent café. Many other amenities are within walking distance, and there's ample public parking. Showing signs of age This must've been an awesome property when it opened 10 years ago, but it is not the same as it once was. The walls are dirty in some places, some of the gaps between the tiles are discolored, the cracks are starting to appear in the shower floor. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the train station in mostly quiet residential area. The breakfast is not included but well worth the price. Be sure to order the evening before. We were a group of 18 people staying at this hotel. It was low season, but the director Ivan made sure we were comfortable and offered us impeccable service. Together with other colleagues we stayed in this hotel near the University of Palermo. It is a family-run hotel and the staff was very helpful and welcoming, making our stay pleasant. We loved our stay here! Our room was very spacious (even for 2 adults and 2 children!), with beautiful views. We loved the location, just off a street with lots of restaurants and shops, but still surprisingly quiet. Our hostess made the check in process very easy.
