While the hotel was charming and picturesque, the fact that there was no lift/elevator was a bit of a problem after climbing them for a couple of days. Luckily at the front desk Alberto was able to fetch our luggage and was super helpful. Our friends had problems with a leaky shower and there were no tissues in the bathroom! Marvellous (and very interesting) building and very helpful staff, especially with recommendations for evening dining, Ragusa is blessed with a more than ample supply of good restaurants.The downsides were that the breakfast buffet wasn't replenished and the streetparking is a bit of a problem.

Loved it. This was one of my favorites in Sicily. The beds are so comfortable and the pillows feel funny but are ergonomic and I had the best sleep. The property has a pool, in good location and nice view. Your room needs to be at the main property to enjoy the full view. If you are at the extension area, there is limited or no view and no balcony. So there is a mistake in the description of the comfort room type that we booked as it says on Expedia that it has a balcony. But the room we were allocated does not have balcony. Myself and my girlfriend stayed her for a short (a few days) trip in Ortigia, and the experience was great. The location is amazing, right on the beachfront near everything, and the staff go above and beyond. We had a great stay in Domus hotel. The hotel is located right on the waterfront. Our room faces the ocean. When we opened the balcony door, we saw ocean in front of our eyes and our hearts sang! Our host Cynthia is so friendly. She goes out of her way to help us.

The Domus Mariae Albergo was an exceptional find! The staff was friendly and extremely helpful in finding parking (an issue in Ortigia), recommending sites to see as well as authentic restaurants patronized by the locals. The room was clean, the linens crisp and bathroom well appointed. We will stay here again when next in Siracusa!

I had a lovely stay at Domus Mariae, the hotel is charming and conveniently located. Be sure to book a room facing the sea, the view was spectacular. Cinzia was an extremely welcoming and accommodating host. Overall I highly recommend a stay here.

We spent three nights here. As it happens, it was still off season and we were the only guests. Our room, at the back of the hotel, was comfortable. Plenty of hot water and wifi. We had a fabulous 8 day stay with Alessandro, who must qualify as the most genial and genuine host in Sicily. Pre visit communication was in excellent English, as was his explanation of facilities upon arrival. Our sea view room had a large shady balcony, the pool and terrace are superb, and the whole property is exceptionally secure. I can't imagine there is a better B&B nearby or anywhere in Sicily...

Spectacular! We had a great, relaxing stay in this lovely property - cannot recommend it enough… It is well located and we were in the good hands of Alessandro who really made sure to accommodate any needs we had. Highly recommended and will definitely return!

Overwhelmed!!!! By far this is one of my top two rated B&B’s zz Clean and neat by the highest standards. Organized by whist to the tenth degree. Rooms are well appointed with everything you’ll need. Breakfast was delicious and very well attended by the staff. Parking is available with easy in and out.. it will be a mistake to make this your first and only choice.

We stayed at the I Giardini della Castellana for 4 nights and everything was perfect. The host Alessandro was super welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless clean and spacious and the view overlooking the pool was fantastic. Breakfast was very fresh and with local food. A very relaxing experience. Highly recommended. This is an excellent place to stay. Other B and B’s will have a pool and no doubt the level of facility on offer here. What they won’t have is a brilliant, enthusiastic, tireless and welcoming host as Alessandro and his team who made our stay so memorable. Many, many thanks.

The view was awesome, the swimming was cold for the time of year and wasn't heated, probably under refurbishment. The apartment was great, good night of sleep other than the early morning bangs and clangs form the room I was in which had the cleaners cupboard, sometimes at 6:30 am in the morning. No gym though. Found this place by accident. It is definitely a welcome oasis from the congestion and dirt of Sicily's larger cities. While morw than 10 minutes away from almost anything the Atmosphere, the rooms ans facilities made for a much needed place to relax during our stay on the island.

Enjoyed this hotel tremendously. Located in the quaint city of Trabia. A train station is nearby to take day trips to Cefalù or Palermo. The hotel has a little beach to hang out in. The breakfast comes with the stay and includes great coffee, pastries, fruit, scrambled eggs. Staff is very friendly, including the manager Angela. Everything about the hotel common areas is nice. The rooms are not nice. They are small, dated, a little depressing and not as clean as I wanted. Towels are old and rough. Pillows small and lumpy. TV 12" and no English channels. Very little soap and shampoo. Bathroom not modern. Hotel has nice views, convenient to Palermo via train, helpful staff, good food and wifi.

This is a lovely hotel we stayed as a couple and the hotel, beach, bar and two restaurants are really good. The staff are amazing so helpful! The local town is very quiet and only has one other option to dine. This is a local restaurant with a great vibe and is very affordable. I’d recommend this hotel and beach.

Hotel has good location. Take the rooms face to the beach and have the balcony if you can. ( the basic rooms categories are not interested). Service in the beach is not so attentive. Chairs in the beach are extra charged. But it’s worth it to relaxing white not so full of people.

The B&B is fantastic . It is clean, cozy and very well located . Lando is not the typical host. He is a man on a mission. His purpose is making you fall in love with Lipari and the Aeolian islands , their long and complicated history, their wild nature that needs to be protected and preserved. The wifi didn't work and the host didn't do anything to make the wifi work. The host hintes that this would be our fault. Location was perfect, central and easy to explore town. We had a beautiful room which we had been upgraded to for our honeymoon. Lando was not there but easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. His parents were so welcoming and friendly to us and made us feel like we were at home!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. It's a very nice hotel with excellent, well-maintained facilities and restaurants that are very good value for money. I really liked staying in this hotel. There is an old-world elegance about it, which is enhanced by the kindness of the older generation who continue to insure the comfort of their guests, and the seriousness of the employees. The breakfast food was great, and the view is the "cherry on the cake!" I would certainly stay there again if I ever return to Enna.

The room faced the sea, and the pool downstairs was clean and comfortable. While it's a bit far from the beach, there's a dedicated hotel access up and down the hill, making it a great value. The hotel is on a mountain, a beautiful view. But you need to understand that this is not a beach hotel. Formally, there is an exit to the beach from the pool, but it is very steep and in the heat to climb up from the sea is an activity only for physically prepared people. And it is wild. You need to drive to the sea beach by car 5 minutes Maya Beach, parking + two sun loungers + umbrella 35 euros...

Parking is easy and location is convenient for Palermo Airport. We were there in the winter but it looks like it would be lovely in warm weather. We enjoyed the dinner there and appreciated not having to drive off site.
