The hotel is a bit far from the Kushiro JR line. Although there are shopping malls nearby, most of the restaurants were already closed by the evening of my arrival, and there weren't many people around. The hotel has some history, and the room facilities inevitably show signs of use. The breakfast restaurant is on the top floor with a fantastic view!

The space is quite spacious and very clean. The location is super convenient, right by the subway station – just walk straight out and you can't miss it. This hotel is super conveniently located right across from the Otaru Canal and just a few hundred meters walk from Otaru Station. I've stayed here several times. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but there's a bus stop nearby so it's manageable. The breakfast is free, and they even have alcoholic beverages and a stylish menu, so I'm very satisfied. The staff are all very polite, and I would like to stay here again if I have the chance. It seems this is the first Toyoko Inn in Sapporo, so the facilities are a bit dated. On the day I checked in, there were no non-smoking rooms available, so I had to take a smoking room. When I entered, I noticed a strong smell of smoke, so I had to air it out first. Other than that, the cleanliness and amenities were pretty standard and acceptable.

The staff were polite and efficient from check-in to check-out, and requests were handled promptly.

This hotel is superb! The only con I noticed is that, during our stay, they didn't remove the ice blocked formed by snow in front of their vicinity. While we notice other hotels do have clean walkway.

There's also a 7-Eleven on the way, and the bus stop for New Chitose Airport is just about a 5-minute walk, making it a really convenient location. I rented a car. The staff was very friendly and even came out to explain the parking lot to me. There are quite a few restaurants nearby, and the accessibility is convenient.

The room is quite spacious with a beautiful view directly overlooking the ski slopes from the window. We could cook our own meals and even bought ingredients to grill outside. Direct access to the ski slopes right from the hotel entrance. The hotel service was excellent; staff even drove us to a nearby place to pick up our rented ski equipment.
