This hotel has an amazing location, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. For the price, getting such a great location and breakfast is truly excellent. No wonder so many tour groups stay here! On the day we stayed, there were groups from Taiwan, China, and Thailand. I didn't get many photos.

This hotel has a great location very near the Sapporo Clock Tower and TV Tower where most of the tour groups meet up. It has also a nearby Lawson & Family Mart which is just a few steps away from the hotel. The underground walkway entry point that leads to Sapporo Station is exit 7, which is also a few steps away from Koko Hotel

Overall, the hotel was great for a 4-5 days stay. Not as luxurious as the Hyatt over at Hanazono but it does its job.

The hot spring was incredibly relaxing, especially soaking in it while enjoying the snowy scenery. It's a shame they don't allow photos. However, the hotel's food was really terrible, I almost fainted from how bad it was. And dinner was 260 per person!

Excellent place to stay at during the winter. Location was amazing, located right on the ski slope allowing my son to ski in and out of the hotel. It is also quite peaceful and quiet as the property is not at an overly touristy area. Rooms were also very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend, 10/10

Located 10 mins walk from the Sapporo station. Easy to get to touristy places. Overseeing the TV station from the room. The public bath is great. We got a room on the cross floor, that comes with living room, meal counter and separate bath and toilet. That also gives us access to the lounge with very remarkable drinks and light bites.

The room and meals were excellent, but the building was so cold that I caught a cold. The room was far from the baths and restaurant, so I got chilled while walking there. I would definitely want to avoid going during the colder months.

I stayed at a ryokan with a private hot spring in the room. I used the public bath as well, but I especially liked the private hot spring. All the staff were friendly, and it was even better that the front desk remembered my face.

We booked two rooms for a family of four. First, the location is strategic, they have a back door leading straight to Tanukikoji shopping street. Second, the service is attentive. This airport hotel is truly top-notch! The hot springs were fantastic – clean and not crowded at all. Breakfast offered a great variety, and the service was excellent. Super impressed! The only minor thing is that it's a bit of a walk to the domestic terminal, about 15 minutes.

Excellent stay! The hotel is convenient and easy to access, with great transportation links. It's also very quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, even bowing. There's a large public bath and laundry facilities (washer and dryer) on the basement level. It's super convenient for getting to the JR station and exploring Aomori at night.

The room isn't huge, but it's big enough to fit two 28-inch suitcases. The sink is outside the bathroom. Even though 'JR' is in the hotel's name, it's not actually that close to the JR station – about a 10-minute walk. There's a convenience store right across from the hotel. If convenience for getting around is a top priority for you, I wouldn't really recommend this place, especially if you're hauling luggage in snowy weather.

Even though the rooms were labeled as non-smoking the was a smell of smoke in the room. I suppose this is coming over the AC to the rooms. We changed rooms three times until we considered it bearable. The breakfast was not held in the normal breakfast location but a huge meeting/ball room. As such, the atmosphere was not the greatest. The quality of the food was great though.

Hotel Nikko has great customer service at their front desk. Very helpful when we were checking on the Typhoon Mari status as we were driving from Obihiro to Sapporo. The breakfast selections are very extensive and complete . Close to the train station too.
