The room is quite old and not very spacious. The best aspect is the location, as it is right opposite JR and the Aeon shopping mall. The room description stated that a safe box would be provided, but there was none. I also found some debris/foil left behind the room door, which was disappointing.

This hotel room offers a clean and suitable environment for one person. Located near Sapporo Station, it provides easy access to New Chitose Airport and the subway system. Convenience stores are also nearby, adding to the convenience of the stay. Breakfast is delicious and ample, making for a great start to each day.

When you exit JR, don't take the North Exit!!! The East Exit is the closest. You'll see a 7-Eleven right away, and then just keep going straight. It should only take about 3 minutes in total. I went to the North Exit before and walked for ages!!! P2 and P3 show the hotel's breakfast, which is served from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM.

Hotel Kunugigaoka Otaru is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful city, right by the sea. It's conveniently located, perfect for a snowy stroll. I enjoyed delicious 'chame' barbecue, visited the Music Box Antique Museum, and the Japanese Ukiyo-e Art Museum, among other places.

Smooth check-in process. Staffs were very courteous and helpful. The Odori station exit 1 is just next to the hotel and access to the underground shopping area is few distance away. Instead of taking bus to the airport we chose to walk along the underground path all the way to Sapporo station which makes it easy for us in the winter. Everything’s prefect and wonderful.

I had to go to a conference, but I wanted to make some fun memories for my kids, so I stayed here with them, as it has a pool. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Two of the water slides were closed, so it seems they're only open every day on weekends this month. Even without them, we were able to play in the pool until 9:00 PM and then relax in the hot springs.

The buffet had a variety of options and was delicious. I was able to eat a lot of crab, which was great. There was a TV in the bathroom in the room. The pool and hot springs were great. If you're afraid of heights, the elevator might be scary... I'll post a photo, even though it's not very photogenic.

Booked this hotel for the cherry blossom season in Hakodate. It's super close to Hakodate Station, making getting around really convenient, and it's also very near the Hakodate Morning Market.
