Easy Parking and Room is clean
Although but old but overall is clean and good
ART Hotel Asahikawa has a great location, surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores, making it very convenient. The room was clean and spacious, meeting our expectations, and overall it was a comfortable stay. The front desk staff were friendly, and the check-in and check-out processes were smooth and stress-free. Given the price and location, it offers excellent value for money. The breakfast...
The hotel is not exactly in the city centre, but is close to a park with easy access to local restaurants. The hotel room is spacious. The spa centre is well-equipped too. However, the hotel of this size only has two lifts, so the queue is always long.
Would have chosen a different hotel, staffs are not very welcoming. There is any amenities nearby. Breakfast is good and strongly recommended if you have decided this location.
15mins walk from the station, hotel is quite old, booked for gym but it only opens from 11am

Hokkaido, Hakodate, 21-3 Wakamatsuchō 🧭 Map
The location is super convenient! It's less than a 5-minute walk to the subway station, which is a huge plus, especially when you're lugging suitcases around in the winter. Staying close to the metro is definitely a must-have for me.
The location is very convenient, and the hot springs are so relaxing! I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I visit Hakodate!
Cons: The room was quite small, making it a bit difficult to fully open our luggage. Pros: They have free hot springs, and the location is incredibly convenient—just a 3-minute walk from Hakodate Station, with a convenience store nearby.
Walking distance of 3 to 4 minutes from Hakodate Train Station. Besides a Gold Gym (2nd floor), Lawson convenience store. Near Tram stop, near bus station. Nearby is big store selling delicacies, pharmacy/ Drugstore. Waterfront about 10 minutes walk with some fresh seafood restaurants. Hakodate being an important export hub of seafood. Various fresh seafood abound.
It’s just next to JR Hakodate station, bus terminus is just in front of the hotel and the city tram stop is within 5 mins walking distance.
The morning fish market is just nearby across the road from JR Hakodate station.
The buffet breakfast is good with a wide variety including frozen grapes, frozen berries etc.
Also, the Hakodate Tourist Information Center is located within JR Hakodate Station...
The hotel is very close to JR Hakodate, you can see the hotel from the station, the hotel is very nice and there is a great Onsen on the top floor

For Japan, the room was quite spacious. However, the price was too high during the Sapporo Snow Festival. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, though it wasn't as refined as what you'd find outside. The snowy scenery in Hokkaido is truly beautiful.
Very strategic location. Indoor parking at 2000yen per night is a plus point if you are self drive In Hokkaido.
Very prime location just few minutes walk to alot of attractions in sapporo near the metro station as well, the hotel room is quite can barely open our luggage
near nikkar bar, restaurant, and close to subway
We had a great stay at Smile Hotel Sapporo. The location is excellent. It is close to entertainment areas, with easy access to the bus stop and subway station. The airport bus stop is also very close, just about a 3-minute walk from the hotel. The staff were nice and helpful, and the free amenities for guests were a nice bonus. The only thing I’d suggest is having a free water refill available. Overall...
Room was clean, location is great. 5 mins walk to the airport bus stop. Bed is bigger than usual Japan hotels.

Excellent hotel, high prices but you get what you’re paying for
I go here every year! This year was my first time seeing snow, and even though I don't ski, I absolutely love Hokkaido's food and weather. It was great to see Hokkaido with snow, which gave it a different charm than in autumn! Having Mount Yotei right in front of me was truly amazing! The hotel service was also excellent. I'm hoping to visit again next year during the autumn leaf season!
Fabulous hotel in Niseko, sorry, it’s top hotel in the world !!!!!!!!! Must come back again for it!!!!!!!
Overall, I'm quite satisfied. The room is spacious, and communication with the front desk was smooth. There are also many restaurants (not saying they're amazing, but definitely much better than the Ritz-Carlton we stayed at the second night). If you have to choose between the two, absolutely do not stay at the Ritz-Carlton! It's unbelievably terrible.
Rooms are wonderful with a dining table and sofa.
Restaurants are Difficult to book.
Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono’s architecture, environment, interior design, and lighting design were all truly wonderful. We were consistently impressed by the excellence of service, which made our visit even more memorable.
The food and beverage service was warm and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. The front desk and transportation team were outstanding in assisting us with our trip...

I stayed here for the first day and the last three days of my Hokkaido trip. The room was quite spacious, and the location was very convenient for transportation. It's close to Nakajima Park, which was great for playing in the snow. They even offered free sleds and snow play tools at the entrance. Overall, I had a good experience. I'm especially grateful to the round-faced Japanese gentleman in the...
Very nice hotel
Convenient
Strategic
Have convenient store near to the lobby hotel
The hotel is conveniently located right next to Nakajima Park, just three subway stops from Sapporo Station and one stop from Susukino. However, it's actually only a 600-700 meter walk to Susukino, making it very close and handy. Downstairs, there's a highly recommended and affordable yakiniku restaurant that serves delicious food.
This was the first hotel I stayed at in Sapporo seven years ago, and I chose it again this time. I really love this hotel. Its location next to Nakajima Park is fantastic, and there are several convenience stores nearby. It's also an easy walk to Susukino, which is very convenient. The staff service is excellent as always, and the hotel rooms are larger than most in Japan. The only slight issue this...
Excellent stay in Ibis Sapporo. Front office staffs are very helpful. The housekeeping staffs are very efficient. Highly recommended to all travelers to Sapporo.
The Ibis Styles Sapporo offers incredible value for money! It's super close to Nakajima-koen subway station, and within walking distance of Susukino, Odori Park, Sapporo Station, and the Daimaru department store area. There are tons of restaurants nearby, making it extremely convenient for getting around. For Japan, the rooms are spacious, clean, tidy, and even offer a park view. The heating is good...

This hotel surrounding with greenery, I especially love it’s snow scenery in winter. Extremely beautiful!
The staff were friendly and attentive. There were also complimentary desserts and drinks for the room type that we booked. The furnishing is dated but it was still a comfortable stay. There was a range of nice toiletries provided. Offers 2 options of breakfast with freshly baked croissants
The Hotel location is very best located in the Park and very delicious breakfast and very near to the train station
Overall, it's pretty good. The path from the subway station to the lobby is beautiful, with cedar trees, lights, and music, creating a very romantic winter atmosphere.
The Japanese breakfast at the hotel is also good, but there were too many Chinese tourists.
There's an airport bus that takes you directly to Nakajima Park, the last stop, and the hotel is just across the street when you get off. Even after a heavy snowfall, the path leading to the hotel was already cleared, so pushing a suitcase was no trouble at all. The hotel has a side entrance that leads directly into Nakajima Park, perfect for a stroll. That same path is right across from Subway Exit...
The room was great!!! The heating wasn't too harsh on the face. The window view was excellent, and the service was very good too; the staff even helped carry my luggage to the door. It's super close to the subway station, right downstairs, which is incredibly convenient!

Nice hotel with a super convenient location! It's just a 3-minute walk to Tanukikoji, and there's a convenience store right downstairs. All the crab, lamb, and yakitori restaurants are also within a 3-minute walk.
This hotel is centrally located in Sapporo, very close to Odori Park, Shiroi Koibito Park, and Sapporo TV Tower, all within walking distance. The room was clean, tidy, and well-maintained, with complete amenities and a spacious bathroom. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, and some even spoke Chinese, which was a thoughtful touch.
The room was quite spacious for Japan, and the breakfast was excellent with a good variety of Chinese and Western options. Enjoying breakfast while watching the snow outside was a wonderful experience. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.
location was great as it’s near to 2 stations. convenience shop just downstairs and walking distance to the main shopping street. however the room is slightly smaller and different as in photos. still good overall.
Very convenient location to visit Nijo Market, Odori Park and Tanukikoji Shopping St. Great Ramen Alley within 5 min walk. Next to Susukino station and just 2 min walk from one of the pick up points for the Sapporo to Niseko coach. Quiet and clean with amenities for guests in the lobby to self-collect.
The transportation here is quite convenient, with the Toho Line right downstairs from the hotel, which also goes to Sapporo. I even saw this line at Sapporo Station. But I don't understand why Google usually recommends the Namboku Line, which is a bit further to walk to Nikka. Ladies, you might want to pay attention to the difference next time.

So close to Station, shopping and Sapporo activities.
Building is a bit old, as you can see rome wear and tear here and there. Despite that, very clean and orderly.
Amenities (soap, shampoo, razor, skin care) are good. Bed, pillows and blanket very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast is excellent: fresh pancakes cooked by a chef, fresh honey straight off the honeycomb!!!, vast array of western and Japanese food. Lacks nothing imo.
Customer service is...
Location and buffet was the reason it got 3 stars. Lost 2 stars for the disgraceful wifi. In 2020 I expected better internet. It was unusable, came here in 2018 and the internet was the same. Trying to lookup locations or find out where to go was hopeless. We had to go to the free JR station wifi to do anything.
Obviously haven’t renovated for ages. Facility is so outdated. However their breakfast is the best we’ve ever had in Japan
Stayed here for 7 nights. Very pleased with the room and breakfast. Also, great location and conveniently located.

The room was a bit small, but clean and conveniently located. It's just a few minutes' walk to Jr, the bus to Asahikawa Zoo, the free snow park, and the supermarket.
The biggest plus of this hotel is its location, followed by decent service; everything else is quite average.
Upon entering the hotel, there's a strange formaldehyde-like smell (or maybe it's just my imagination?). The lighting throughout the hotel is generally dim, making everything feel a bit blurry.
The front desk staff were very experienced and had excellent attitudes. Even though I didn't...
The hotel is pretty old but cosy. For the price point nothing to complain. Breakfast is good, just that this hotel doesn’t have any smoking point. Which we will need to go to JR station or Aeon Mall
The room isn't big, but that's typical for Japan. The location is incredibly convenient, right across from the train station, making it easy to get anywhere. There's an AEON supermarket directly opposite, which is great for shopping and souvenirs, and a shopping street with a drugstore right next door. The room itself was clean. The second picture is taken from the hotel room. There's a free ice rink...
This is a fantastic hotel with excellent value for money. Don't be put off by the small lobby on the second floor when you first arrive. The room layout is well-designed, and they've clearly strived for perfection in every detail. I especially loved the bath powder and the dedicated scrubbing area. Surprisingly, it was the only room on my Kanto-Hokkaido trip where I could fully open my 29-inch suitcase...
The room offered excellent value for money and was very close to Asahikawa Station. The lady at the front desk was particularly helpful and had a great attitude. Hokkaido, Obihiro, 11 Chome Nishi 1 Jominami 🧭 Map
All three of us stayed in cabin Obihiro. We were really pleasantly surprised by the value of the hotel, boasting an onsen that was way better than we expected. Staff were helpful and good to us and everything was simple and easy!
Our room is probably called Family room, with 2 single beds and 1 queen bed. The room was pretty big for Japan size and kept clean. The furniture is old but it never bother us. The sento facility was the highlight for us. There's a Seico kombini across the road. We'll stay here again if opportunity arises.
I stayed overnight in Obihiro on my way back from a trip to Shihoro.
There's a moor hot spring, and I warmed up in it twice.
The breakfast buffet had a great view and was delicious!
I'm glad I stayed here.
The hotel arranged for my suitcase to be sent by courier,
and I took the morning bus back to New Chitose Airport.
The bus stop is right in front of the hotel.
It's very close to Obihiro Station and has a hot spring, which was great. The hot spring was spacious and the open-air bath was nice. The food was also excellent, and I highly recommend it.
Food is great.
Instructions are clear.
Very relaxing.

One of the best hotel we ever stayed in Japan. Buffet dinner was superb..scallop and unlimited snow crab provided by hotel. Onsen is top especially the outdoor pool which overlooking the sea. Must stay if anyone plan to go Hakodate
The price was really good, the service was excellent, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. The hot springs on the top floor were also very relaxing.
The hotel was excellent and very affordable. Both dinner and breakfast were quite good. The open-air hot spring on the rooftop offered stunning sea views, and with snowflakes falling on my face while I was soaking, it truly felt like an authentic Hokkaido experience.
The location is excellent, very close to both the airport and the beach. Directly opposite is the Tropical Botanical Garden, and from the room, you can even spot monkeys in the garden. The hot spring views are absolutely fantastic, and soaking in them on a snowy day was an incredible experience!!!!!!
Breakfast was definitely worth it. The room was a bit small; as a solo traveler, I could barely open my suitcase. The rooftop hot spring was great with a good view.
Location of the hotel is relatively far from city centre, but close to the hotel.
Hot springs in the hotel are also great, but the private ones are booked completely, so a reservation in advanced is recommend!

Unfortunately did not allow luggage storage after checkout. This was ok at most other hotels I stayed in Japan.
Good service and interesting hot bath / onsen in the hotel. There a salt sauna and salt onsen in. Comfortable room and bed too. U can see the hotel once get out from Hakodate station.

The location and the in room amenities, price is reasonable.
Very clean. I enjoyed staying in it. However, the sound of the AC during the night kept me awake even though I set it to lowest wind speed. Generally, very recommended.
Fancier, cleaner and smaller version of Entended Stay America.
It comes down to the little things: bed doesn’t fill up entire room (rare in Japan), bed is wide enough for 2 6 foot tall people (also rare here), each person gets 2 pillows (never heard of here) and you have complete control of AC/heat
Very friendly and helpful staffs and are able to communicate in English. Rooms are nicely cleaned and properly arranged. Inclusive breakfast were prepared on time. Large varieties of food to choose from. Free WiFi is also available and at acceptable speeds. Price paid for was very reasonable. Will definitely stay here again the next time visiting.

The Fairfield by Marriott Sapporo offers excellent value for money. The decor is simple and in a Japanese style, and the room was, as expected, very tidy and clean. While it's a bit of a walk from the subway station, which might be inconvenient on a snowy day, overall it's a good choice!

If you're sensitive to smoke, definitely avoid the smoking rooms. Even the air purifier was steeped in secondhand smoke. However, the hotel's overall facilities are good 👍. There's a massage chair and various multiplayer card games available, as well as a play area for children.

The WiFi in the room I stayed in was poor, and if it was a little heavy it wouldn't open at all. The room was hot even with the air conditioner on, and it made a strange noise and was quite noisy.
The croissants at breakfast were delicious.
The location is good because it is around Goryokaku, and it is good because there is a shuttle bus service to the airport and train station. However, the facilities are a bit old.
It feels like the same level as the one at Kameoka Station. The air conditioner made an unusual noise and I couldn't sleep. The hotel's location is pretty good, only about 500 meters walk to Susukino. However, in winter, with all the snow and ice, it was a bit tough to drag my luggage from the subway. Also, the hotel breakfast was just so-so; no fried eggs or milk, mainly traditional Japanese style.
