This hotel exceeded expectations. It is small. It is very convenient for Tokyo Stations. There is a large shopping centre nars and shops nearby. It is close to Kyobashi underground statiin. The staff are wonderful. very helpful and courteous. The rooms are small but have everything you need. beds are firm but comfortable. We were moving around japan but coming back to this hotel for the last...
Very expensive hotel, considering the amenities is quite mediocre. But location is very good.
Room is clean but small. Hotel is about 5 minutes walk to Tokyo station.
10 minutes walk from JR Tokyo station. Narita airport bus is right beside the JR station. Room is bright and clean. Air-condition works well and it doesn't blow over my head. Free coffee is unexpected good 👍👍
Good location near to Tokyo station which takes around 5 min walk. Breakfast quality is on average only.
Very good location. Excellent service. Good breakfast.
We will definitely come back and choose this hotel again in the near future. Keep up the good work!

Tokyo, 1 Chome-30-7 Higashiikebukuro, Tosima, 170-0013 Tokio, Yaponiya (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Ikebukuro East Exit. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the breakfast is absolutely fantastic with a wide variety of fresh, authentic Japanese dishes.
The room is really small, even if I requested to look for a different dimension, my 2 luggages couldn’t barely fit. But, still it was manageable. The hotel is clean, very friendly receptionist (monolingual- but really attempts to help through Ai & Google Translate). However, when I booked here at Trip.com, it required me a pre-authorization for almost the same amount as the cost of my actual booking...
Amazing location and service, staff at the front were very friendly.
Everyone complain about returning key when you go out, but it doesn't take a lot of time whether you put it in a box or returning it at the front when you come back — so no worries.
Room was very nice and clean, standart. Definitely would stay here again.
Oh it surrounded by all the convenient stores. Lawson family mart and 7-11. Good!
I've stayed here many times, and it's always my first choice when I come to Tokyo. It's incredibly friendly for anime fans, very convenient for stores like Animate, K-BOOKS, and Comic Toranoana. This time, my friend needed to send me a package, and I really appreciate that the hotel held it for me from the 9th to the 13th.
This hotel is excellent! The location is superb, right in the heart of Ikebukuro. There are plenty of vending machines and convenience stores nearby, and it's surrounded by anime and manga shops. The customer service was great, and the environment was also very pleasant. Everything about it was perfect! The room wasn't big, but it was exactly my type – small and neat. I'll definitely stay here again...

Tokyo, 1-15-3, Eitai Koto-ku (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Great. Pretty good. Breakfast was also decent. It's also quite convenient, about a 7-minute walk to the metro station.
There's often a long wait for the washing machines, and the management isn't very effective. Sometimes, clothes are left in the machines long after they're done, and when I asked the staff for help, they seemed quite reluctant.
It was a really nice experience to stay in this hotel! I’m so grateful to find it before new year! I really had an amazing time here!! Really I highly recommend! I will back here all the time when I back to Tokyo!
Very good faciites🫶 delicious breakfast 🫶 little far subway station
Location wise can be abit far from station (12 minute walk), nearest is the Tozai Line. May be a hassle to get to intended attractions because a lot of train switching needed.
Room is clean and bed to nice to sleep on, staff is friendly and helpful speaking fluent English.
They offer a free simple breakfast as well if that's useful.
Although the room was a bit small, it was very clean. Toyoko Inn has been a well-established brand for many years, always located conveniently in the city center, not far from various attractions. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area, and they even offer free breakfast in the morning. Absolutely great value for money!

I almost always choose Toyoko Inn when I visit, and this one is very close to Senso-ji Temple with convenience stores all around. It's just a block's walk from Asakusabashi. On the first floor, there are vending machines, a free coffee machine, hot and cold water dispensers, an ice maker, and plenty of charging outlets. They also offer free luggage storage.
Conveniently located, if you're not in a hurry, the Toei line at Asakusabashi Station right outside is super handy for getting to both Haneda and Narita airports. I booked early, so this price was a really great deal for this time of year.
Hotel is close to Akihabara and Shinjuku. Check in was quick and front desk staff very friendly. Free coffee in the reception area the whole day.
I stayed in this hotel branch in Hakodate and can recommend it to anyone.
Clean towels and toothbrush given every day. Excellent location. Highly recommended.
Excellent hotel, very convenient for foreigners to check in.
Out of the four hotels I stayed at during my trip to Japan, this one was my favorite. The room was clean and spacious enough to open three suitcases at once. The mattress and pillows had just the right firmness. They hang fresh towels directly on the doorknob every day, which I appreciated as I prefer not to have staff enter my room. I also got lucky and ended up in a room with a tower view, so I could...
The room is super tiny. Once u open the bath room door cannot open main door vice versa. Hardly any space to put luggage and the window face a wall as good as no window because not a shred of sunlight can get into the room.!Yet they sell the room as with window!

Tokyo, 8-11 Ginza (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Great location, with a convenience store and plenty of food options downstairs. Don Quijote is right next door, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Ginza's main street. The subway station isn't far either. My favorite part was the massage chair in the room – it gives a full body massage, which is incredibly relaxing after a long day of exploring!
The room felt a bit smaller than expected and storage space for luggage was limited. On the positive side, the bathroom was spacious and the location is great. Front desk service was great overall.
Very good location with DONKI next to it and a 24 hours supermarket.
Find it interesting that the staff will place back my stuff to the original place after tidy up the bed .
Great clean hotel with friendly staff. Excellent location in Ginza just 15mins walking from main shopping areas and the Tsukiji Fish Market.
Very very strategic location for the hotel , nearby all the shopping and business needs
Well Japanese hotel standard , very small not even able to open luggage 🙈
Massage chair is a surprise and I love it
Service is very good, very clean
But the hotel have zero facilities so cannot do any exercise or any

Tokyo, 5-4-7 Nishikasai, Edogawa-ku (12 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The space is quite limited — with three suitcases there’s barely room to open them. The AI at the reception desk also lacks sufficient intelligence to answer guests’ questions effectively.
The hotel was closed to a subway station and surround area. There's a lot of restaurants and shops. The room was clean the complementary breakfast and tea time and happy hours are very nice. Also the convenience of the shuttle service to Disney part. The only thing we had about that is first come first serve for the ride to the park.
1. The hotel is located in Nishi-Kasai. After taking the airport bus to Kasai, it's a 15-minute walk to the hotel.
2. There's free self-service luggage storage available.
3. A hotel shuttle runs to Maihama Station in the morning and evening, making it convenient for Disney. Remember to queue early to get a boarding pass. The bus stop for the return trip from Maihama to the hotel is C6, located on the...
The hotel's shuttle bus is fantastic. After a long day at Disney, the last thing you want to do is brave the subway.
I loved the themes and the amenities. I’ll definitely stay again if I’m in the area. The LG STYLER, the smart pack, the luggage storage, the automation, the pajamas, slippers, and breakfast were awesome. The shuttle service from Tokyo Disney was a lifesaver. I had to change to another room. Upon entry, I noticed a strong odor but the second room was good.
Nice ever ever stay in Tokyo area, near by any attraction and supermarket, just by walk going to station and more visit you can explore near by area

The hotel's location is excellent, right by a subway exit. Breakfast was standard. I wasn't used to the duvet covers.
Perfect location
Nearby two main metro lines and TCAT
Nearby many local reasonable Japanese chain restaurants
Also few stations to various major Tokyo gardens
It is a very standard and clean hotel.. There are lots of local restaurants near the hotel. Will try to stay there again... Love it..
Great location and really clean. The holiday prices were quite reasonable. I'd consider staying here again next time I come for a live show.
100/10 recommend this Hotel!
The location is very nice, kayabacho in front of the hotel but you can definitely walk from nihombashi it only took 10 mins (also lawsons is in the same building )
The staff was super duper nice and welcome! Willing to help!
There are a locker to keep your luggage before check in and after check out too, very convenient
Next time in tokyo would stay here again for sure
The hotel room was incredibly tiny, but well-equipped, making it suitable for guests staying just one night. The location is super convenient, just around the corner from the subway station, less than a 2-minute walk. There's also a convenience store downstairs. Rare find in Tokyo - affordable but lovely business hotel that offers rooms with enough space! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Very accessible area as well there’s all kinds of shops restaurants or supermarkets around.
Free cake or cookie at check-in.
The hotel staff are generally helpful. Hotel is accessible to train station, bus interchange, eateries, local market, and malls. There is also a lovely neighborhood park with a lake nestled in Kichijoji. Our family enjoyed exploring the small shophouses lined along small streets in the vicinity. Was surprised to stumble upon several thrift shops and 2nd hand electronic store.

Superb location surrounded by food and shopping spots as well as a gorgeous park. Rooms are bigger than the usual Japanese standards and breakfast was yum.
I've stayed here a few times and it's a reliable no frills business hotel. Average size room for Japan, staff efficient, very well located (worth noting that some rooms face the railway tracks, though sound insulation is pretty good).
I've stayed at Kichijoji Tokyu Inn many times. The hotel's main advantage is its convenient location for shopping, with an abundance of dining options. The vibrant local atmosphere is perfect for experiencing daily life like a local.
The room isn't big, but it's very clean. The biggest plus is the excellent location; it's right by the light rail station, making transportation super convenient. Shopping is also a breeze, and it's close to a park where you can take a stroll! The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, highly recommend it!

This hotel is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Ikebukuro East Exit 35. The room was clean, and everything was great except for the duvet – it was really thin and kept getting stuck under the mattress, making it uncomfortable to sleep with. On the bright side, luggage storage was easy, and there's a convenience store right downstairs.
The hotel was beyond expectations.
The room, although small, was well equipped, even had a table and two soft mini-sofas. The amenities are quite new, without signs of wear and tear. The receptionists were very welcoming and polite. The breakfast was excellent, with good variety and quality of dishes (especially, the chicken and meat).
The location deserves a special mention: a nice neighborhood close...
The hotel is conveniently located a 5-minute walk across the street from Seibu Department Store. It's very close to the shopping district, and even on public holidays when malls are closed, there are still plenty of great restaurants to choose from.
I usually stay here whenever I go to Ikebukuro. It's not too far from the station, about a ten-minute straight walk from the exit on a main road, not a small alley, so it's very easy to navigate. There's a Family Mart downstairs, and it's close to Sunshine City and Animate, making it perfect for shopping. The price is also quite reasonable. Recommended!
The service is really nice we got corner room which have more space for luggage as we stay for 7 nights. Mate don't clean up the room everyday, they just come in to change the towel and clear the trash, location is super close to ikebukuro shopping district
I really liked this hotel. In all honesty, it’s a great area, very close to the station and overall the staff and the amenities are all I could ever need.
The room was very small, I could manage because I was out a lot, but there was barely space to open my luggage so that I could organise my stuff. Think about this before choosing your room type.

It's pretty good. You can see Tokyo Station, Shinjuku, or nearby Tokyo city views. It's quiet at night, though the nightlife is a bit lacking, but for this price, it offers great value for money. The room is quite spacious.
Incredible service and location. Room was smaller than appeared on the website and was very cramped for 2 guests to stay.
Very convenient with a well-developed commercial area nearby and the subway station is very close.
The room was very clean, and all the disposable toiletries were well-stocked. The front desk staff had excellent service, always helping with passport scanning. The only downside was that the lighting in the room was a bit dim.
very nice hotel. Breakfast is great!
This is a new frills hotel to explore Tokyo! Conveniently located close to the metro stations, convenience shops, and parks. Don’t expect the ritz Carlton- rather a humble hotel which is friendly and very clean. I stayed 7 nights and was able to sleep without issue!! Will recommended and come back.

The hotel's location is right in the heart of Shibuya, close to the subway station, and there's a bus stop right outside, which is super convenient. The room was clean and tidy. The location is super convenient, really close to Shinjuku-sanchome subway station. There's a Lawson just a few steps away, and you'll find Muji, Uniqlo, Isetan, and more nearby, making shopping a breeze. The room isn't huge, but it's well laid out – I had no problem opening a large suitcase. The self-service check-in and check-out machines downstairs are a great feature, and the staff also speak English
This hotel aligns with my expectations for a typical Japanese city hotel. The room was small, barely leaving enough space to open a large suitcase, but it was clean and quiet. The breakfast was a bit better than what I've had at Toyoko Inn previously. For the price, it's a great option. (P.S. The pictures are not related to this review)
The room was a bit small, but very clean. The subway station is right downstairs, and it's only about a 700-meter walk to Shinsaibashi. The size was really an issue though, I couldn't even open my suitcase properly. There's an Aeon supermarket downstairs, which is great for grabbing food.
The room decor felt really nice, very new and clean. Plus, the TV had screen mirroring, which was a first for me in Japan! However, it's a bit of a walk from Shinjuku Station, about ten minutes or so.

Not very soundproof room. Heard the people inn the hallway, and the wending machine. And the cars outside and people talking on the sidewalk. I had room on the 9th floor. 1. You can extend the check-out time until 11 AM only if you sign up for a special membership -> No explanation to foreigners, and check-out time is notified by 10 AM

I visited during the ***** New Year and considered many stations along the Yamanote Line. I ended up choosing this place, and I really liked it. My memories of Japan will continue, thanks to the help of all the staff. Both Kanda and Akasaka were great.
Extremely well-located hotel, fewer than five minutes from Kanda station. Very near a lot of izakaya places. The neighbourhood is very busy on a Friday night, but the street the hotel is on is still very quiet.
Close to the subway station, the hotel is relatively new, and disposable toiletries are available for self-collection downstairs.
